The only ones of those I'm excited about are Metamorpho and Mister Miracle. There's a couple of interesting selections there, but variants on commonly available heroes aren't that interesting at this point. The $5 DC minifigure collection. The top left is Bat-Mite who comes with a 2x3 printed tile of a Detective Comic.

LEGO is just being lazy. I think doing classic Batman is a great idea. I get doing retro figures. But with a series of 16 (Why not more?) figures 8 retro and 8 completely new ones. I know very little about super heroes and even I recognize most of the figures there from previous sets. These are very 'meh'. Not worth $5.The only ones of those I'm excited about are Metamorpho and Mister Miracle. At least Metamorpho should be pretty easy to feel for.
Cool, I will send you something for sure. It may just take a bit of time because my partner's parents are in a mandatory evacuation zone in northern CA so we are dealing with that this week. Been quite a month for so-called "acts of god" around here.[Wishlist]
Also how is Best Buy one of the last stores? They have been awful for at least 15 years. So I hope you sue them out of business.
I just bought a Pop Up Book for $32 with a destroyed box from AWD.
You are the most awesome person in the universe. Just saying. I forgot the Harry Potter Castle, not the $400 one, the one that connects. I'm not even a fan of HP I just think having a set or two a year that connects to a previous set is awesome and want to support LEGO doing more of that in the future.Cool, I will send you something for sure. Fortunately I don't have to sue Best Buy. My insurance company has already paid me and is trying to get reimbursed by Best Buy through subrogation. I am sure Best Buy has insurance and that will pay the claim. Even if they didn't, I am not sure my tiny little claim would put a dent in their financials. I'm like a fly on a fly to them.
Have fun with the pop-up book. I just put mine together last week and the mechanism is really neat. I want to try to build some other scenes to sub in. I paid $40 on AWD. It's definitely worth $32.
I salvaged everything other than some boxes, instruction booklets, and stickers. There's also one train motor that I assume won't work, but I haven't tested it.Can you salvage some of your damaged Lego too? That would be awesome if you got paid, plus were able to save some of your sets.
A lot of policies have exclusions for mold, sometimes depending on the cause of the mold. So it's possible that the claim would have been denied. But in general, for the future, always worth putting in a claim, in my opinion.Hmm, maybe I should've contacted my insurance company when our basement got moldy. I had to throw away some Lego boxes and pretty much all my DVD cases. I doubt they were worth anything though since I got to keep the actual discs.
Thanks, yeah, my partner's family is about 20 minutes north of Santa Rosa. Hope your uncle is okay. How many sets total did you loose? I have wayyyy too many sets, I would hate to go through that. Sorry to hear about the trouble with your parents, I have an uncle in Santa Rosa.
Qui gon Jinn had a mullet too.I was thumbing through the new LEGO catalog I got in the mail today and something stood out to me. A LEGO mullet. Hilarious.

Yes, but that's a gift card and none of the sets are really cheaper than MSRP. At least the Amazon sale has things the normal 20% off and then a $10 instant save. Plus the baseplates would be $4.10 if you buy 11. Just more options if anyone is looking for certain things, and baseplates rarely get that cheap. Finding a baseplate in a store is like finding a unicorn or a useful Walmart employee.Target also has buy $50 get $10 gift card on most sets.

It's 5:1 scale, about 20cm aka less than 8 inches. So I wouldn't call it giant wood. Also, Lego is releasing a giant wooden minifigure for $120?![]()
It's not the size, it's what you can do with itIt's 5:1 scale, about 20cm aka less than 8 inches. So I wouldn't call it giant wood.
Display it on a shelf, show it off to everyone that comes over, post stop-motion videos of it in action. Wait, what are we talking about? It's not the size, it's what you can do with it
That's a lie started by below average men. It's not the size, it's what you can do with it
I show it off to everyone that comes over, and post videos of it in action, but it's never cost me $120. In fact I normally get a meal out of it.Display it on a shelf, show it off to everyone that comes over, post stop-motion videos of it in action. Wait, what are we talking about?
Weird time to do clearance. Maybe I'll check it out as that's a great price for the shuttle. Not sure the box would fit in my backpack or milkcrate. :lol:Kohl's is doing in-store clearance on a bunch of sets. I got:
Watchpoint Gibraltar $36
Ninjago Dragon Pit $52
A few Speed Champions $6 each
Thanos Ultimate Battle $28
Passed on a number of other sets as well (mostly City, Overwatch, TLM2, Harry Potter).
EDIT: Just remembered two other clearance sets they had. Creator Cruising Adventures for $24 and the Star Wars AT Hauler for $40.
Sanctum Sanctorum is currently $70 on Amazon-- just click the $10 coupon: https://www.amazon.com/LEGO-Marvel-Super-Heroes-Avengers/dp/B077TFTR8B/I might buy Sanctum Sanctorum Showdown for $80 as I missed it last year when it was $68 on Amazon.
But my Target credit card has money left on it, the Amazon one is pretty much maxed out.Sanctum Sanctorum is currently $70 on Amazon-- just click the $10 coupon: https://www.amazon.com/LEGO-Marvel-Super-Heroes-Avengers/dp/B077TFTR8B/
Exactly. I don't need a $250 dust collector but the little one is nice. What if I only want the mini one?
Rick Santorum! Those Chinese New Year sets are a miss for me. I am not a fan of sets that consist of lots of little disconnected components. They do not feel cohesive to me.
The Sanctum Rick Santorum is down to $65 with coupon on Amazon.
That santorum set might pose a health risk to anyone that handles it if they don't know what they are getting into.Rick Santorum!I love you.
I bought it, my mom will give me the money and I'll get it as a Christmas gift. haha I added a $5 Minnie because if nothing else I'll donate the thing.
I like that because I want to make a NinjaGo display and it would work well, but it makes the set look way too small for $200.
Well blame the assholes who threw their companies debt onto the back of Toys R Us causing them to go bankrupt. I'm pretty sure Brickober is a trademark of TRU.I just realized they didn’t do anything for brictober... assholes!!!
