People are going around and believing the narrative that Phil Spencer and the Xbox marketing has created about console gaming. They believed all of console gaming is declining when in fact it is just the Xbox that is facing the problem. They are grouping Nintendo and Sony in with Xbox issue. It's wild that people took Spencer and the Xbox marketing PR highly, when they are not even or have been the market leader in console gaming for over a decade. It would have been more concerning if one of the market leader of their category is going around and saying that, but I haven't heard anything from Nintendo and Sony complaining about console gaming growth.
Orly? Guess Sony put their games on PC out of good faith then.

At this point I expect most everything that Xbox has to make it over to Playstation, especially given the sales numbers so far for the former exclusives. Winds up being good for everyone in the end.

We don’t know the price yet, right? Would be tough to go from a free series to $70. I’ll wait and get the physical through GameFly or eBay.
Actually Astro Bot: Rescue Mission was $40 when it launched. A very good game with 25 levels. Astro Bot has over 80 levels so $60 seems appropriate. Day one for me. I'm in the process of finishing the challenge missions in Rescue Mission to get that platinum trophy.

Astro Bot is $60 on Walmart. I’m in at $30.
Funny how the reports said it "was not going to be a full priced game" and then the pre-order is $60. Continuing to move the expectations of a full priced game to $70 (which has been the case for awhile now, I understand).

It's also crazy that I used to get excited to see a game at 30% off, but now that price is $50 and my brain is like "oh nevermind, not a deal"

Hope it’s better than the Netflix Mighty Morphin special, anyway. I love old Power Rangers (hell, I even kinda like current Power Rangers, Cosmic Fury was pretty decent), but Once & Always was super underwhelming.

Gameplay and in-game graphics seem decent at a glance, don’t think I like the cutscene artwork, though.

I gave in and picked up the PSVR2 with Horizon. Two questions:
  • Is there an easy way to see which VR games I have in my library or in the Extra collection available to me?
  • It doesn't look like Beat Saber has gone on sale before, does that sound right?

If you go to your Library on PS5 you can sort by Platform and that includes PS4, PS5 and VR.

Finished Tales of Kenzera ZAU over the weekend. Took about 10 hours for 100% completion.
Nice metroidvania with a good story and decent world map but Prince of Persia Lost Crown is a much better overall game.
Still I enjoyed my time with it and was glad it was a day one PS Extra game.

I platinumed Tales of Kenzera Zau. I decided to knock it out since I knew it was on the shorter side. It's a nice game with a nice story. Honestly it's hard to criticize a game that's a passion project at an affordable price. Now I'm playing Prince of Persia The Lost Crown. If Zau is an 8/10, then The Lost Crown is a 9/10 so far. I like the combat and the voice acting is really good too.

Really want to play Dredge but I need to knock some of these games out first. It's on top of the list though.

They just updated their top 25 PSVR2 games

Seems like some of the third-party PS1/PSP games got updates to add trophies:

Disney Pixar Toy Story 2
Disney Pixar Toy Story 3

Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare also got an update, but no trophies showed up.
