Target Clearance Thread XXIV

I got Street Fighter 6 for PS5. Couldn't find Ratchet even though it says there are 2 copies in stock. The employee tried to help me find it but he thinks the inventory is just off unless it got lost somewhere. Saw Avatar but passed on it. I think Persona 5 Tactics and New Pokemon Snap are 2 of the most overshipped games ever.
 
Sad. Found a random copy of P3 Reload PS5, it rang up as $0, they would sell it to me if I took the $70 online price. I'll just get it elsewhere, thanks. Was hoping they would at least give m the last clearance price.

If it is not in inventory and also not sellable, it isn’t theft…

I’ve seen this go so many ways when an item his salvage. A lead for electronics once sold me $250 Sony headphones for $20 just to ‘get rid of them’. Easter candy salvaged, that was still on the shelf tagged 50% off, they just sold each bag for $0.10 instead. Yet had a board game hit salvage and the clerk practically held it like a golden nugget and absolutely refused to sell it at any price.

You can make your best case but sometimes they are inflexible and that's just the way it is dude. It doesn't justify theft though.
 
I saw GTA Trilogy for Xbox at 17.99. Also saw most of the other games mentioned here. Ending up buying Avatar for PS5 at $14.99.

It was mentioned back in February 8th and 10th by 2 users finding copies for 20.99 and 24.99. You likely won't find any of the clearance stuff left. But as always this stuff is ymmv and stock checking never works the majority of the time unless there's an excess.
 
Strange they decided to restock after selling it for $20, figured that was the Clear That Shit Out price like Fantasian that I missed

When was Fantasian $20, and from where? As far as I know Fantasian was only carried by select retailers (Amazon, VGP, maybe PNP Games and Square Enix srore too) but was never carried by Target. If so I would have bought it at launch there since Target is my go to retailer for new games I want due to the 5% off Red Card discount.
 
Not long at all, only for like a week or two after launch, maybe it was $30 but it was definitely discounted and I was definitely too slow to order later in the day I saw it discounted because it sold out quick. Gotta go fast!
