Tempting. Beauty & the Beast is my favorite Disney film, so the blu is a Day One purchase for me. But I'll wait til we get closer to release to see if any better deals pop up. Hoping for a Toy Story 1&2 / Princess & the Frog-style clusterfuck of savings. ;)

that wont happen again, this year so far anyway, and the closest thing that might come to it would be when james and the giant peach comes out and pre-ordering beauty and the beast. of course as release dates get closer, things will emerge but until then, we have to wait.

I've never done any pre-orders from TRS before. In the instance for the Beauty and The Beast pre-order, do they give you a coupon or a voucher of some sort for the "save $10 on and disney bluray $19.99 or higher until 10/4"?

Does that coupon/voucher stack with the Disney upgrade to blu program coupons?

there is a pre-order card that you have to use to pre order and the promotion should come off of any disney blu, on sale or normally priced, over 19.99. in my experience, 19.99 may or may not work. also, you can use any coupon you want on top of this promotion.

That would be great. I have been wanting to get "Cars" for my son and I just sent in for the 8 dollar coupon. If I can stack them I should be able to get it for a very nice price.

Where did you find this promo? In store or was it in the weekly ad?

It's also limited print the disney coupon. I saw Potc for like 16 at target the other day not sure if still on sale though but if you have upgrade2blu coupon not a bad deal.

The retailer will not get reimbursed properly and the cashier may get into trouble for this. I may be cheap but I'm not willing to get someone fired for a few extra dollars.

My $10 rebate for Transformers on BR from the HD-DVD "upgrade" arrived in the mail today.

So, if you're wondering if it works as the "upgrade" to BR from HD-DVD, it worked for me.
 
Does anyone have the direct link to the coupon? I am having issues with the coupon printer on my vista PC. So coupon printer knows I didn't print it but the disney rewards site thinks I did so I cant get back to the coupon itself.

Can't imagine there would be anything comparable to that but we'll see.

say the movie is full price 29.99
- 10.00 coupon
- 10.00 for preordering beauty and the beast
+ 5.00 for the money down on beauty
= 14.99 for both a copy and money down on beauty and the beast

after this, you could return the preorder if you wanted to for your 5 dollars back.

if the movie is chaeaper than 29.99, just subtract the amount difference.

I wouldn't be surprised if Walmart had it for $24.96 in-store tomorrow. Plus, the coupon scans OK there, so you can go through self-check with it, if you have a WM with self-checkout registers.

I'd expect Target to be $24.99 or $26.99 in-store tomorrow, if it follows past releases that had the $10 coupons.
