Looking for Far Cry 6 PS5
Been about 4 years and now got the itch to finish up trophies. Anyone have PvZ warfare for PS3?
Another question, is it possible to hop into my main trophy account to continue trophies after downloading from a gameshare account? Or do I have to play on the gameshare account for the game to load. Thanks all!

As long as you have a save file on your main account you can trophy hunt on that game or if you start fresh you can still play on your main account. Doesn't have to be on the game share account

You can spend like $20-30 to split a game with someone or rent it from one of the dudes with a library for like $5
Yeah, I mainly play on PC now but sometimes gameshare with a friend since it's 1/2 the price
do this and create multiple gamestop accounts to take advantage of the $5 monthly and your games will half by half, $30 to $15

Rental services were more affordable for people who could beat games quicker. But now those are largely dead too - one guy's accounts all got banned after some idiot they rented to did something sketchy I guess, and the other one still active is too inactive (really affordable but not easy to get a hold of - also a lot of their games are EU version where saves aren't compatible with US version). Good irony that the most affordable way to game and biggest help to the community was also the biggest downfall bc it conditioned us to be even more frugal and do away with group splitting
I think also the trust is gone in the community to some extent so nobody wants to risk sharing games with strangers anymore. I personally just share with an IRL friend. There's the mentality of why split a game 45/25 or whatever when I can just wait a month and get it for 40 anyway and not have some stranger on the account, or just split it evenly with a friend
PS3 accounts were mostly all killed off by sony years ago when they did a mass resetting of passwords or whatever. There's like a .001% chance of finding a PS3 game on here ever again
All that, and the biggest thing - nobody is buying games on separate accounts and reselling when they're done. I think this topic is just dead too, everyone has moved on to their own thing so most don't even consider this. And very few to even resell to so what's the point. Don't see this place ever coming back, your best bet is to find an IRL gamer friend that you trust and go 50/50 on stuff on one of your accounts
There's also this topic where it seems like... I guess guys that work for places that get free review copies from indie devs or something and pawn them off (seems kind of scummy if that's the case but idk how someone's getting so many digital indie codes otherwise). I bought a review copy once several years ago and got questioned by someone who worked for the company about it. Guy was pleasant enough about it but it was still a weird experience
So, ban for sharing is the thing? I don't know is the cheap gaming worth of PS5 ban. Xbox is limited to 5 changes per year so I didn't even try this so far.
No, you don't get banned for sharing accounts. They have no way of proving any of that. Otherwise we'd all be banned long ago

I feel services like PS Plus Extra are also a big factor in changing the way of life here. I've had a couple of games i've bought 50/50 with a friend only to have it appear on the Extra a few months later. So now i rarely buy any games since I have a massive backlog plus Extra has been providing more than enough of games of interest since it launched.
Ps3 era gamesharing seemed like the golden age for this kind of thing though and I doubt it will ever be like that again. Like mentioned before, going 50/50 with a buddy is the way to go, have Extra aswell and I recon that should have alot of people more than busy with their gaming time. I personally will still jump in here from time to time and maybe rent something if anything new i'm interested in comes out.
It's an awesome community here, got to play alot of games I was interested as a kid and the legends here made it possible for a poor kid like myself to keep my hobby going. I'm forever grateful for that to anyone I crossed roads with during my years here.

Just got my first PS5 a day or so ago, and I believe you're right. Just signed up for PS Plus just to play a catalogue of games and even though I like to "own" my games outright, the price of the subscription for the quality of titles is too good of a deal. The console rocks by the way.
Sort of a side note, but it's crazy how long the PS3 generation lasted compared to the PS4 and apparently many consoles of the earlier generations before it. I grew to think that's how long each console cycle was supposed to last lol. But we all had one hell of a good time here in the gameshare thread(s), so I'm happy that it lasted a while.

It was fairly comparable actually, the 3 came out in 2006 and the 4 came in 2013. 5 in 2020. The 2 came out in 2000. The 1 had a fairly short run though
Christ! 2006?! I had to look it up to be sure this time and dayum that's further back than I would've thought. Of course my initial side note tangent was taken directly from the mouth of a YouTuber so I assumed whoever that guy was right. My first PS3 was around 2012 so I was late to the party. I was more of a 360 guy around the launch of that.
Lol I'll still never forget my first game after getting DSL internet. I was so happy to play online: I boot up SoulCalibur V, hop into ranked aaand see that my opponent is wearing some *ahem* "giant male attire" as he proceeds to roflstomp my poor ass back to back. Don't have any memories right after that, but I can safely assume I was probably stunned and disgusted haha. Up until that point I was the weird gamer dude in my town that could pick any game up and smash my friends, family, and the like pretty easily.

Did notice something when i logged into them though well the ones i got into so far, none would login by normal means like the accounts didn't exist, i had to do a forget password option then recover my info like that through email, and then was able to log back into psn, agree to the new terms (maybe thats why?) but odd thing was it wouldnt log me in with the correct info not even a recover password, just no accout found or email combo is wrong.
