Hmm I stopped by a BB today and noticed that the games are still marked at their regular prices (e.g. Transformers @ 40$). Do I need to bring the games to the register and have them scan it for the discounts (and possibly the coupons) to apply?

Yes, the $20 discount is off the regular price, although I think you are referring the BB ad which shows Transformers: RotF priced at $20. That one's taken from this Sunday's ad, so nobody knows if you can get the RZ coupon to apply until someone tries it on Sunday.

Yes, it is quite a bit of fun. Just don't be like me and realize you can not just customize the color but improve your vehicles with upgrades only AFTER playing through 80% of the game :lol:.

There is a $10 off RZ coupon for it. Supposedly it's $9.99 starting this Sunday @ Best Buy. I haven't seen a scan of the ad personally, so I don't know if it's true or not. Others that have seen the ad maybe able to confirm this.

Saint's Row 2 is really fun and well worth the $5 price. I'd dare to say that you will have more fun in it than in GTAIV, since they have some of the same mini games that prior GTA titles had but that Rockstar took out of GTAIV.

They actually added in even more side mission/minigames than Rockstar had(even in prior GTA titles), so there's lots of stuff to do after you're done with the main story.

You can also play the story co-op(so I've heard, haven't tried it yet), so there's yet another fun thing to do.

Saints Row 2 is great. I started it yesterday and I'm having a blast. I was initially not interested in it cause I already had GTA IV which I don't play and never really enjoyed, and SR2 just looked like a poor man's GTA w/out trophy support. It turns out I'll be keeping SR2 and finally getting rid of my dusty copy of GTA. It's not as polished as GTA, but the game is so much more fun. The driving is more like GTA III where you can turn corners with ease so driving is fun again. There is a cell phone feature in it but it's not intruding and annoying like the one in GTA. There are fun, not so serious missions where you can do things like throwing yourself in front of traffic for insurance fraud. I love the fact that you create your character. I've got a badass Taylor Swift running around mugging people on the street and stealing cars. :)

For $5, you can't go wrong. Get it now! (or tomorrow when stores open again)
 
Saints Row 2 is the fun GTA. The only thing I'm disappointed about is the screen tearing (although u can v-sync but that lowers framerate) and some lil audio glitches(and the fact volition promised trophy update that never happened. Saints Row rocks so hard though, I gave my friend a copy for x-mas just so we can do co-op together.

alot of people got fairytales fight for free (which i wish i Didn't miss out on damn east coast blizzard.)
plus ive been playing the same game for 3 months straight. i think a change of pace even if it was a 2010 tetris game, woulda been fine.

That is no excuss by the way. i live in Alexandria, VA and I was able to hit 3 best buys for 15 copies on the Sunday after the blizzard. In fact, I think the blizzard helped because no one wanted to go out, lol.

I don't know if this would be the place to ask, but how do you get the RZ card if you signed up online? 'Cause I'm pretty sure I can't just show up at BB tomorrow and give them that coupon.

Thats how I print out mine.

I'm relatively certain they won't have another free game glitch judging by how quickly they fixed the Fairytale Fights glitch. I'm hoping to be proven wrong, but BB would have to be really stupid to let this happen again so close to the last occurrence.

Fairytale Fights was no hassle, got 2 for PS3 & 3 for Xbox. Gave one to my friend's 5 year old (whoops, he is 7 now) and one to my friend's husband. Kept a copy for each platform so we can all co-op, even though it's a shitty game, it should be good for a few laughs. I returned one to Best Buy for a $20 Gift Card.

For Saints Row, I got 3 copies, 1 for me and two for the same friends, respectively. I called Best Buy customer service after going through the hassle of scanning the coupon 3 times with the manager acting like she was "doing me a favor." I told them that it was bullshit to send me a coupon which solicits me to come into the store and avail myself of the advertised offer without them being able to honor the said offer.

I also explained that they were not "doing me any favors" by honoring the terms of their ad and that in fact it was I who was helping them; by responding to the promotion they set up for that very purpose, TO SELL SHIT. She was very nice and promptly issued 1250 RZ points to my account (and she put the rush on it, they appeared in 24 hrs.)

Then I used the combined credits to get Fallout 3 GOTY and am left with a $5 credit on a gift card. All in all, not bad for fifteen minutes on the phone and $15 (SR @ $5 x 3).

I know it's my first post, but I have always been a Cheap Ass Gamer. Possibly one of the cheapest.

I'm going to enjoy it massively if I can pull off another haul like I did with FF.

BTW, what on earth would possess you to give FF to a 5-yearold? I want to crucify my soon-to-be ex-sister-in-law for letting my nephew who is 4 play Call of Duty 4.(my brother doesn't let him, just her)

Yea your in Alexandria where they plow the streets, im in the country woods part of Fredericksburg, where we didnt get anyone to plow our streets til tuesday.

Is anyone giving up a copy of their FT-fights for a "fair" price?

I also gave a copy of my fairy tale fights to my 12 year old cousin. He just got a ps3 today and one game so he was happy. I still have 5 copies left, I am going to use them to get some point cards, good timing too With the save 20 on anything in the store deal at game-stop . I hope you all are having the best of holidays. Now back to playing Assassins creed 2
