Diablo III / Diablo II Battle.net Thread
that was autocorrect fail. question is how much do you guys think these bows may be worth? damn fone.
damn. the 900+ dps one is pretty nice, just for the fact it's a bow and it's 900+ dps. bow's seem to be more popular due to the archery passive.

and my own correction, the crossbow i mentioned is a rare if it sells great if it doesnt, i might have a fun build combinig it w/my freezing belt for 6.6% freeze on hit.
If you aren't having issues progressing, just wait until 60. Unless it's Hardcore, which it doesn't sound like it is.
Nah it's normal. I made it though Act II fine, just wanted to be sure there wasn't a ramp in difficulty that made it worse. I will see when I start it.

Finally found a decent drop, Andy's Visage.

Good for a Demon Hunter, but not for my Barb. I threw it up on the RMAH, where it is current bid sits at $16.

I'm getting sick of finding legendary drops that are completely garbage. I don't understand why they are considered legendary drops if they are worse than anything that is a blue item in the game. It doesn't make sense. It kind of feels like a slap in the face.

man, i feel like such a small fish. i have a lvl 13 monk and lvl 10 barbarian. hitting the gold auction house for better gear - and actually got some better stuff (no idea if i'm over/underpaying). i've also made $3 after fees in the RMAH. i suppose that's good for my low levels...

what kind of low level stuff are you selling? I've been trying to sell stuff on the RMAH since it opened and have had no luck...

Seems like the RMAH has fallen off. That first week hype had everyone buying shit. I made like $100. Since then though, I've not sold a single item.

guh. By the time I get my barb. to level 60 the RMAH will probably be a ghost town (she's lvl 35 now). Maybe I'll just start a Monk.

people botting like crazy, values are just going to plummet even more. lots of people gambling right now that they'll make enough money to cover the cost of the game+an additional copy+profit before they get banned. every time i go into a certain vent channel its people teaching each other how to configure their bots. all the luck in the world isn't really a match for 24/7 farming.

luckily this isn't as much of a problem in hardcore for many reasons.

i sold 2 items (don't remember the stats too well):

1 Adventuring Two-Handed Sword of Wounding (12-14 DPS or so)
1 Adventuring Short Sword of the Angels (10-12 DPS or so)

both sold for $2.50, i kept $1.50 each ($3 total) after blizzfee. proceeds are sent to battle.net acct, as i dont have texting on my cell. money will prob sit there indefinitely...

A friend of mine has purchased three different bots so far. He runs one of them 24/7. Its pretty dumb. We've all taken bets as to how long he can go before getting banned.

That first week the auction house was up I sold a couple things only for $20.

I put this up an hour ago and it is at $52.

scaled.php

Found it in act 1 of a mob. All my gear that I've used has been found in act 1 except some crossbow that I won for 50k gold. I don't know if any of it is great but it is good enough to tank the inferno Siege breaker in act 3 so far.

This game is pretty entertaining for a sweatshop simulator.

That's a damn nice amulet. I wish I would get a drop that good in my act 1 runs.

What class are you using to farm Act3?

Running a bot sounds really risking considering your constantly connected online so blizz knows what's going on.

Oh well once the ban waves kick in hopefully the AH frees up a bit. Either way I wasn't selling for real $ yet, but sucks for those that were.

The addiction level for this game is thru the roof. I've enjoyed Diablo 2 a bit more but I can't help but find myself wanting to max one of each char and then do some runs. So I'lll easily be putting in 300+ hours in about a week or so.

Hmm....I haven't logged into Diablo 3 in like 3-4 days, and now when I try to log into my account it's asking me for an Authenticator code even though I've never tied one to my account. Did I get hacked or something? I can't access my account without putting in something for the Authenticator, but I don't know what code to put into it since I don't even have an Authenticator...

You guys weren't kidding about the RMAH dying off after the first week. I found a 890+DPS 1H sword with 801 LoH and placed it in the AH for $50/$125. It just sold for $52.50.

Was hoping it'd get me a really pretty penny but I guess that's what the increased drop rate on ilvl 63 stuff will do to the economy.

No, they ask after every patch.

My first character, one of the one too many demon hunters. I of course don't farm alone, I do it with a friend who is another demon hunter

High majority of my drops are from act 1 though.

This is the first time they've ever asked me for an Authenticator code. So what do I put in there if I don't even have an Authenticator?? Where do I get the code from?

If you didnt set it up, then someone else did and just took over your account.

That's what I was thinking....how come I've never heard of people having their accounts taken over though (at least in here)? It's always someone getting their characters stripped, but they can still access their accounts cause the hacker doesn't change the password or anything. Speaking of which...whoever supposedly hacked my account didn't change the password either, they just added an authenticator to it which seems odd. I just went on blizzard.net and changed my password and everything and there's still an authenticator attached to my account so I still can't access it. If someone took over my account then I should have, in essence, taken it back over by changing my password, but there's nothing I can do as long as this authenticator is still attached to my darn account.......I guess I'll have to make a phone call tomorrow :/

Well I can't speak for the others, but my account hasn't been hacked because I have an authenticator. Might wanna look into getting one yourself after you retake your account.

Man, I think I need a farming buddies. Farming alone gets so boring and lonely.

People botting will most likely get banned after a few months, it's not like blizzard is doing anything about the gold spammers in general chat.

No, it's just that weapon sucks. Under 900 dps without an open socket or some crit dmg is not worth a whole lot (LoH is for tanking and nobody is going for it right now except on rings and ammy's). Consider yourself lucky it even sold for that much since that's roughly 20 mil in gold (and I bought a weapon way better for half that).

Impossible unless you (stupidly) use the same password for email. To add an authenticator they would need to access your email as well. More than likely it's an error on their end if you never set one up yourself.

i died in act 3 in the depths walking over the grates where the fire shoots up. 3 ticks, the time it took to walk over it, killed me. RIP MassiveDeath. So close to 60!

Now to try a barb.

they should add a freeroam mode when you've beaten act 4 where the whole world is accessible.

Found a Unity Ring with 30 int, 19 vit +6% attack speed, +7%movement, has slot, +12% gold. How much do you guys think this costs? I looked at most Unity rings and most of them has no +attack speed, would this be a little over 10m?

Vendor trash.

Lucky me then. ;)

Found another 1hander with 1085 dps with only 400-ish LoH but has a socket. Now I wish I could find a decent xbow for my DH.

Lucky you indeed. I wish I could find weapons that good for my barb.

Found a nice 1 hander just a few mins ago

800 dps, with 200 vit, 86% crit and 175 LOH.

In the same run found a 3 socketed Tal Rasha chest, so not a bad hour.

Honestly, I think you're the luckiest bastard in Diablo 3.

I agree you are lucky. What is you "run" itinerary like?

I had a weird glitch last night. I was fighting a gold when I got down to like 40% health and I popped a health pot. My health didnt move. I have LOH and Nether Tentacles but neither of those was changing my health either. At this point I'm worried because I didnt know if my health would go down still or not. I was able to finish the gold without getting hit more, so then I fought a few skeleton mobs. They couldnt' hurt me! So I go on a rampage and try and kill as many mobs as possible. Unfortunately the effect only lasted like 4 or 5 minutes, and I wasted like 3 of them figuring out what was going on.
I agree you are lucky. What is you "run" itinerary like?
Just Act 1, jumping around to known elite spots basically - ending with warden/butcher. (so quest jumping to cyrsed hold). I have 302 MF after NV too, which might help.

Found my first hellion bow today. I am happy. Also found a 1-handed ilvl63 sword.
The bow UN'Ided is worth upto 1.5mln. I got offered 200k for the sword. Found all the goodies below in one run. Found other stuff that I vendored or am using. I have under 30 MF before 5 stack. Today was good.
Yep.
What channel and what's the going rate for Un-ID'd items?
Considering my luck for finding crap rares this could be the only chance for me to make some gold.
My luck with items is pretty crappy. Making about ~700k/hr.
You sound lucky to me. I'm making 100k/hr (no luck gear, just 5NV).
