They also have coupons in magazines for great deals, so be sure to check EGM, GamePro, and several other magazines.

GameRush is starting to expand, so check the store locator every once in awhile to see if one is coming to an area near you. :)

All BlockBuster's should now accept trades, so the trade in prices for BB and GR should be similar, but normal BBs will not have the deals that GameRush has.

GameRush accepts game trades without case and instructions and the games can be in poor condition depending on the employee.

You must have a BB account and sign a trade agreement to trade at GameRush.

Please be careful if you scam GameRush (as many are doing) since they do have the abillity to bann you from all GameRush locations if they want to. If you do get banned from GameRush for scamming them, don't bitch about it. Otherwise, I will be forced to make fun of you.

He's a "pee-hole" because he wouldn't do something he's not suppose to do in the first place? Their deals are not suppose to "overlap" or "double-dip". It's in their policy. The employees that do allow it are just ignorant.

Yeah, we know that. :roll: I was being mildly sarcastic. I remember one time I was able to triple-dip back in like August. Wasn't even trying to, the guy working there was like "Hey man, you can get more!" and he was pushing me to get more. It was weird, but I ran with it and got a bunch of stuff.
 
I just called the GR in Rochester, MI and the lady said that they only had new copies of Burnout 3, NFSU2, and Metrid Prime 2. Those are the only three games I'm looking for as of right now. I'll probably trade back SW:B for Xbox to make a $23 profit :twisted: But anyways if anyone finds any of those 3 games listed PM me please! :D
 
The next time someone gets a chance to go to Gamerush ask about any deals outside of the trade 2 games get a new one for $29.99. Since, the 3 for $10 deal is about to end.

yesterday at gamerush wasn't cool...i was looking for some good games to get for 10 bucks, finally found la pucelle tactics, then the gamerush employee steps in line in back of me, holding 6 playstation games along with xmen legends and killzone...I wanted those games!!!!

its not cool, he gets first dibs
 
Anyone know what GTA San Andreas is getting nowadays for a trade in...is it still $35? I would trade with someone for Paper Mario 2....

Ejay Clubworld- 1.50

Picked up MGS3 preowned...only copy they had and it just came in last night...but I got it home and load it up and it freezes every time I try to start the game. If I take it back, what can they do for me? Short of crediting my account...which is fine I guess, but I really want that game. Argh.

If you get a nice employee they could conceivably switch it with a rental disc that would work....

3 for 10 deal still worked for me today, by the way. But I think today is the last day too, so I'm going to have to work fast if I want to take any further advantage of it.
 
I try to trade in 3 games and get Shadow Hearts Covenant (PS2) for $10 but Gamerush only have Shadow Hearts Covenant (SHC) new so I can't get it. Anyone know when is Gamerush going to sell SHC used? It seems like Gamerush is not selling any recently released game as used like Halo 2 and Metal Gear Solid 3 ... etc.

Does Gamerush takes any 3 games for trade in (for the trade in 3 games get an used game for $10 deal)? Are any games excluded for trade in?
 
Nephets - I just picked up a MGS 3 in the past week off a Gamerush in Allen, and I'll probably trade it in today or tomorrow at either the Gamerush in Mckinney or Allen. I'm going to see if my older brother wants it first, but I just couldn't get into this game at all.

Those places are a bit too far to drive to, better off just waiting for the trade-2 get a new game for 29.99 if that's the case. But, I'll keep looking, thanks though! :D

Good luck on this one. I haven't seen this game used yet and it's a great game, so I doubt a lot of people will be trading it in. I'm looking for SH1, with no luck. What you could do ( this is what i did to get SH:C) is trade 3 and get a newer game ( I did fable) for $10. Then trade that in at another store or on a different day, get $10 off a new game, $30 in store credit for Fable and pay the extra $10 for SH:C. If you have other games to trade in or store credit you could maybe cover that extra $10.

Like I said....Yeah, we know that. Didn't my last post kinda just drop this? Besides, isn't this "cheap ass gamer?" Aren't we supposed to talk about deals and what we were able to get away with? GR/BB takes DVD's, right? Well, I got MadTV season one with credit, and I don't think I want it anymore, so, how much credit could I get for it? I really want Snake Eater, and if I trade that I'm thinking I could get some good credit for Snake Eater and possibly that player's guide. Though that guide is mostly for collective purposes.

How much credit would I get for the Gamecube Jedi Outcast game? It has no manual, but to GR it doesn't matter.

Or, better yet, how much would I get for it on Ebay, used, with everything but the manual?

Ksuwild25, If you do trade it in, let us know. I think there are 3 GR in Allen. The only GR I've been to in Allen is the one on Greenville. Thanks

I've seen it once in Dallas, but since I got it new for X-mas I didn't buy. I like Katamari, but -like Ico- the game's reputation has exceeded its quality, IMHO. No flames, please; this is just my opinion.

It's odd that this Game Rush didn't have anything good left. Somebody must've picked it clean. While there was never any Metroid Prime 2: Echoes or Halo 2 or anything like that, the last time I went they did have multiple Star Wars: Battlefront and THUG2. The best game they had this time was Fable. Odd. Oh well.

Didn't somebody say it was trade 3 get a new game for $30 and $5 for every trade in? Those aren't bad, just not as good as past ones. Unless, of course, the trade in for $5 each covers PS1 games. Then this is a good thing.
 
The new deal is probally going to be the $5 bonus on top of what they give already. ie $1.50 + $5.00 = $6.50 Trade in value. They had this in Novemeber with the EGM coupons.
 
Got a used Ratchet/Clank 3 at my local GameRush, and got the trade-3 $10 deal with it. Yoink! They actually had it hidden in a drawer behind the counter -- same place they had my MGS 3 before I snagged it. It pays to ask the people there if you're looking to find newer games used, though I can't guarantee they'll be as cool as the dude at my GameRush.
 
Who else is sad that only certain Gamerush's will still be having the trade 3 for $10 deal while others come up with some other sale.

Because you can go onto the Gamerush website and the 3 for $10 says while supplies last.

I saw a used one at the Hulen store last week.
 
Good find today -- I stopped into one of the non-GR Blockbusters by my house and much to my surprise:
a. They were doing the Trade 3 / Get 1 for $10
b. They had a used copy of Star Ocean III!

Did the deal in November include PS1 games?
 
The trade 3 get 1 for $10 is still going on at Arcadia, CA and Monrovia, CA locations, but their selections are really bad. THUG2 being the best PO they have, then Dynasty Warrior 4 for XBox (in terms of pricings); go figure.
 
Back in Novemeber Gamecube, PS2, Xbox games all recieved $5 bonus during that promo. PS1 only got $3 bounus during that time. Gamerushes in my area still have trade 3 get 1 for $10 promo going on. I believe it ends January 10th in my area. Also I found a complete Metal Gear Solid:3 today and will be playing that this week!

My GR has tons and tons of Fables and Star Wars Battlefronts (probably from rentals going into the used circulation).

What do these 2 games fetch these days?
 
Alright so here's my story...like I said, I had got that faulty MGS3 that I took back this morning. I was hoping they'd just switch it out for a rental copy, but they didn't, they just told me to pick another game and they'd trade it out. So I tried to pick a halfway expensive one...so I grabbed SRS Street Racing Syndicate which was 40. Then later I took it over to another Gamerush, along with two more games leftover from the TRU sale and traded them for a disc-only copy of MGS3 (I REALLY want to play it, so I settled). But after trading in SRS and the two others, I had enough credit to also get Katamari Damacy AND still have 12 bucks left on the account. So it ended up okay, I suppose.
 
Fable and Star Wars Battlefront I believe get $30 apiece. Call they are usually pretty cool about "customers" calling about trade in values.
 
yeap FAble and Star wars still get 30 .. I just traded in 2 today. The BB on coldwater seems to be the last one doing the 3 for 10 deal (might been last day today since they were pulling signs ) I hope its still going on tomorrow cause i got 3 junk games i would love to trade in one last time

Regarding the next promotion, I asked a clerk and he said it was buy one get one half off. Since that promotion is already going on, there must be another to go with it. I can't imagine that being their only promotion for the next few months.
