GFC is Back in Business! Worldwide Package Forwarding & Item Ordering Services ^_^.

1) Direct Request (DR) Services - The service that started it all, our Direct Request (DR) Service allows you to buy just about anything you want from the USA and have us order it and ship it directly to you. This is perfect for those of you who are unable to buy from USA merchants that will not ship to Canada directly or who do not accept Canadian/International credit cards. We charge $2.00 per item ordered plus shipping. Additional fees apply for items weighing more than 5 pounds shipped or more than $150 USD in value. Our online form will calculate everything for you automatically and there's no obligation to buy anything until you check out with Paypal. Feel free to ask any questions you may have about our services.

2) Package Forwarding (PF) Services, Address & Rates - [PREMIUM SERVICE] If you want to order the items yourself, you can! You can order from any website that ships to the USA. Ship the items to our secure UPS mail box and we will repackage them and ship them to you in Canada (or any other country for that matter). Typical fees apply for this service as usual and you pay only $1.00 per package received at our mail location. Quick, easy and GREAT for limited-time sales when the Direct Request option may not be quick enough. Please note we cannot ship: meat, cigarettes or other nicotine items (including electronic cigarettes and their accessories), alcohol, weapons or gun accessories (including paintball/airsoft), pornographic materials, toxic chemicals (including several cleaning liquids), fertilizer or any items that are illegal to ship internationally. Also, any items containing NI-CD or LI-Ion Batteries can no longer be shipped via USPS (Laptops, cell phones, handheld game systems, etc.) and must be shipped via UPS instead. If you have questions about a particular item, please contact us first before ordering.  You will receive an Email invoice with PDF attachment explaining line-by-line details of all charges and full payment options. GFC PF Service Requires Premium Membership which costs $10.00 a month or $100.00 a year (discount of two free months) and is available in our GFC Store. Full details on website.

3) GYROS Updates - After you have ordered your items, filled out the forms and notified us of your order we will add your items to our GYROS page (generally within a week or less). Once your items have been received, we will invoice you for the shipping costs + our service charge. After receiving your payment, your items will be shipped out to you in a timely manner and you will receive an Email with all relevant shipping information ^_^. If you have any questions feel free to Email us at [email protected] .

Service Charges (Free Members):

GFC Charges $2.00 per item forwarded for standard or "Free" Members. Please note that an item in this case refers to each item within the packages you ship to us. So if you were to order say 2 DVD Movies, an Umbrella and a Towel, this would count as 4 items total. Items that are sold in "Lots" such as multiple baseball cards will be counted as one item, subject to our discretion. Also, UPS Charges me to pick up the packages, so there will be an additional charge of $1.00 per package received. I will add into the invoice for you when I get your iitems in.

For larger orders, an extra $5.00 USD surcharge is added for each 5 pounds your package weighs OR per $150 in value of their total contents (example: a 5 pound package would cost an additional $5.00 USD, a 10 pound package would cost an additional $10.00 USD OR a $150 item (or group of items totaling $150 or more) would have an additional $5.00 USD charged, a $300 group of items would have an additional $10.00 USD charged). Please note that this will be either a weight or cost surcharge and not both, but the greater of the two will be what is charged. An item weighing 14 pounds will still only be $10 added as it didn't yet reach the 15 pound mark. This will be shown on your invoice and will be clearly explained. In the near future, this service charge will be automatically calculated for package forwarding items the way it is currently automatically calculated on our Direct Request 2.0 system.

So Again the things to remember:

1) Ship to the address above
2) Ship all packages in my name (James Parks) and if you want to include your information as a “Gift Message” on the order, you certainly can do that. This is required though to be in my name as the UPS store will only sign for packages in my name and will refuse all others.
3) You MUST fill out the Direct Request (DR) form on the link above to let me know what’s coming
4) Once I receive your DR submission and all your items, I will invoice you for the shipping cost plus service fees.

Estimated Shipping Costs:

The following are shipping estimates for standards weights. This will give you a pretty good idea of how much it will cost to ship your item to Canada. If you live in another country, feel free to inquire by contacting us directly.

For all items from 0 - 4 pounds we typically use USPS First Class Mail:

$00.00 = 0 Pounds / Digital Items
$09.00 = 6 ounces
$09.00 = 7 ounces
$09.50 = 12 ounces
$11.00 = 1 Pound
$16.50 = 2 Pounds
$22.00 = 3 Pounds
$27.50 = 4 Pounds

For all items from 5 pounds and up we typically use USPS Priority Mail:

$38.00 = 5 Pounds
$40.00 = 6 Pounds
$42.50 = 7 Pounds
$45.00 = 8 Pounds
$47.50 = 9 Pounds
$49.50 = 10 Pounds
$52.00 = 11 Pounds
$54.50 = 12 Pounds
$57.50 = 13 Pounds
$55.00 = 14 Pounds
$62.50 = 15 Pounds
$60.00 = 16 Pounds
$63.00 = 17 Pounds
$70.00 = 18 Pounds
$72.50 = 19 Pounds
$75.00 = 20 Pounds
$77.50 = 21 Pounds
$80.00 = 22 Pounds
$83.00 = 23 Pounds
$85.50 = 24 Pounds
$88.00 = 25 Pounds

For any items over 25 pounds, we'll have to manually invoice you.

On Hold & Unclaimed Merchandise:

GFC allows you to send items to our secure UPS Package Forwarding address (listed above). After you order your items it is your responsibility to properly fill out our Package Forwarding (PF) Form on our website located here: http://www.gamesforcanada.com/package-forwarding.php . Once you do this, we will be notified of the items you have ordered and you will pre-pay the shipping/service charges up front for us to process and re-ship them to you.

The first 30 days are free to hold all Package Forwarding items. This is plenty of time for you to successfully order from the various stores that you want and submit our PF form to notify us. This also allows for adequate time for you to request us to combine items into a single package.

After 30 days, there will be a $5.00 USD charge per ITEM per week (flat rate fee) until the payment has been paid in full. Since you are pre-paying for the item costs, you will be responsible for both shipping to your country, our GFC Service Charges and any processing fees associated with the transaction.

After 90 days, GFC will not be responsible for unclaimed or missing merchandise sent to us at our Package Forwarding address. We suggest that you fully insure all orders sent to our address in case of loss or damage as we will not be responsible for missing or damaged goods.

goomba, yeah you should get rid of those Street Fighters fast too as Super Street Fighter IV was also announced =p RE5: AV was announced at Sony's TGS Conference.

RoganSarine, I think the retail release would do better than DLC due to the timing actually. They'll be launching alongside Sony's Motion Controller and it looks to be the only non-minigame collection launching with it at this point. It should see a nice sales bump from the motion controller launch and free advertising from Sony.

Hey Goomba,

Just put in a DR for MadWorld at 9.99 (Discounted prices will appear at checkout). I forgot to ask in the DR but would I be able to use a $5 Amazon.com GC? (the same way as when I bought Bionic Commando)

PuppetYuber, yes I am. Did you want to buy a game from them? As a member I get free shipping from their game store (though I do have to pay 6% sales tax). Let me know!

RoganSarine, yeah I totally agree. Should release as a full blown disc (for new buyers) AND as an option to upgrade/download for existing owners. Why don't companies get that? Free money essentially!

dancrane, I just got your request. Thanks! Oh and yes you can always use Amazon GC as credit if you have them. I don't think I advertise that enough but yes...I order a LOT from Amazon so it's always welcome. I will send the invoice now. Thanks ^_^

I might bite on the madworld. I was looking through their website and it seems like their used games for all consoles are fairly cheap, definitely tagged for future reference!

i will let u know by tonight

True, but how many people will actually re-buy the game (assuming they havnt sold it) if they've already played and beat 95% of it? Also, how many of these people are part of Sony's fan base? A lot of people probably won't invest in the controller if there is only 1 game, and a lot of people probably won't drop $40 for a game that has 1 extra chapter, only to pay probably an extra $40 for the controller. I still see the bearer to entry only worthwhile if the game is $40 and bundled with the motion sensing controller; otherwise, I still believe a DLC pack charged at $20 or $25 would sell a lot better (especially in the case of the 360).

They need to have a low bearer to entry if Sony has any intension of making the controller investment they have worth it (which they probably don't), and making everyone drop $80 for the same game probably won't float anyones boat.

The nice thing about RE4 is that it was an original RE in that vein, and that each re-release (especially the wii) was moderately far from each other. Also, at the time, the wii was a gimmick the hardcore wanted to try. I think all the gimmickyness of a motion controller has worn out at this point; although, I always have hope for a motion controller that has good game support.

For those of you who are interested in Madworld and Force Unleashed for $10, please fill out the Direct Request form here:

http://www.gamesforcanada.com/direct-request.php

I won't be home until 6PM today so I can't check my Email till then (remote desktop reset on me) but I will process them in the order I got them. Gamefly always asks me (by phone or Email the next day) "Did you mean to order X copies of this game? to which I reply "Yes, please send them" and then they do :)

I believe this is a one-day sale or at least a very limited offering, so please get your DRs to me as soon as you can. Also please note they charge 6% sales tax for CT residents (which I am) though I do get free shipping to the USA as a member. If you have any other questions feel free to ask :) Cya later guys!

Hey goomba, have you mailed out Valkyrie Profile/Colony Wars and the NASA set yet? If not, are you packaging them together to save on shipping? Or would it be cheaper to send them separately?

I was planning to ship them all together for you game_fanatic. I will have them out tomorrow morning. You should get an Email tonight before 11 PM or so. Thanks!
Fill out a Direct Request there Sejad, Goomba is much more likely to respond to those than to posts in this thread.
Thanks you game_fanatic I totally forgot we can do that, didn't do it in long time.

Hey goomba, I received the stick! however, some of the suction cups under the stick are missing :( gonna test it now!
edit; handgrip is missing too :(

shijui, you should have received both parts to the stick (I know I shipped both in the single package). These are what they look like:

acecombat-1240534617-606.jpg

And the item only had two suction cups on it when I bought it like that. It was never used. Please let me know if you located both parts of the stick. Thanks!

===========
Killmak, yes your 12 month live card just came in today. I'm going to PM you the code now :) Thanks!

I'm back from work guys and packing a million and one of your items today :) For those of you who have paid in full for shipping and your items, you will more than likely be getting an Email tonight. Thanks!

For those who have ordered items and are not sure of your order status, please note the new GYROS update is coming Friday night this week. Thanks!

GYROS = Green. Yellow. Red. Order Status

It's what we use to tell you where your orders are (Shipped/Shipping/Waiting for Payment, etc.). You can view a week back or so if you want to see the massive list :) And no Jest, you're all set. I generated one for you. Thanks! Your item will be included in the shipping update today/tomorrow ^_^ Much appreciated!
Hmmm...I might be interested as well, just don't know if I'd be able to pick 3 games.
here's a small sample list of stuff i was looking at maybe getting:

59.99

metroid prime trilogy
TLOZ twilight princess
Little King's Story
Cross Edge

39.99
valkyria chronicles (temp OOS)
xbox 360 platinum hits triple pack (dmc 4, dead rising & lost planet)
onechanbara bikini samurai squad
class of heroes

34.99

29.99

onechanbara bikini zombie slayers
samurai showdonw anthology
guilty gear XX:Accent core Plus (PS2)

scribblenauts
smt devil survivor
disgaea 2 dark hero days (psp)
star ocean second evolution
saint's row 2 collector's edition

19.99
gears of war refresh
star ocean first departure

If you dont think you can find 3 games, look harder. If you think you'll have trouble picking just 3 games, then go for 6 or maybe more (in increments of 3). It makes getting certain games seem more worthwhile since some of them never have sales.

i also think it would be funny if someone bought 3 copies of the batman arkham asylum collector's edition/ COD MW2 prestige/hardened editions for mad discounts

Here's the thing....Yes, I can get these. The thing is if you are asking me to buy them in-store chances are the good games will be taken by the time I get there. If you want me to buy online, that's a lot more possible.

2 things to remember: 1) My state (and all stores in my state online or not) charge 6% Sales Tax. 2) I will more than likely be able to get at least some of the games you want. The best thing to do would be to pre-pay me an estimate of what you want. This way I will have the money on hand when the sale is live. As always, if I can't get the games you want I will refund you in full 100%.

So for example (Toys 'R Us charges for shipping, let's say like $8.00 per group of 3 games. It's very close to actual charges from TRU):

3 games at $60 MSRP:
$60 + 60 + $0.00 = $120 (Cost of B2G1 games at $60 each)
$120 x + $8.00 (Price of games plus shipping) = $128.00
$128 x 1.06 (Cost of games and shipping with 6% Tax added) = $136.00 to USA
$136 (Cost of 3 games in above example) + $4.00 (GFC Service Charge) + $8.50 (Estimated shipping for 3 games in example) = $148.50

So you would save: $190.80 (MSRP with tax for 3 $60 games) - $148.50 = $42.30 USD SAVED

Not bad :)

hey goomba, since your here, i had a few questions for you:

1.Would there be a way to check what they have/will be getting? (A lot of ppl have been on the thread asking about demon souls/ ninja gaiden sigma 2/ fallout 3 GOTY edition which i want 2 see if i can get too). The website has some games but there are some games i expected to be there but arent.

2. what games would you consider 'good'? Im just asking to see what i shouldnt ask for. Getting some stuff in store (if possible) would still be awesome & i dont think im aiming for AAA titles at the moment

1) There is no way to check what they will have (in store if that's what you're asking). Online I expect they should have almost everything in stock at the beginning and will likely go out of stock quickly. TRU is not like Gamestop...once they run out of stock for certain titles, they almost never re-stock or re-stock very little. I do very little shopping with them for this reason (and the fact they charge for shipping...boo). Their sales are legendary though :)

2) What games do I consider good? Oh wow, that's so hard to figure out. I play so few games these days between working, doing my artwork, web design and of course GFC. The only game I'm really, really playing right now is Muramasa (I LOVE that game) and you already have that one coming lol. I think your list has a lot of great games personally. Oh and for the record I'm typically like at least two system generations behind on games lol so I'm not really up to date with games, even if I read obsessively about all the new titles, I typically play them 2-3 years after they're out at minimum lol.

lol, thanks anyways. im probably going to focus on the $29.99 stuff since most of the higher stuff is stuff i kinda wanted but probably going 2 wait for price drop

like ppl on the TRU thread, i want to see if i could get things like demon souls, fallout 3 GOTY edition, & maybe ninja gaiden sigma 2 but it doesnt show up on the website so idk if they'll have it up by the time the sale starts

btw, how much would it cost to ship something a bit larger like the saint's row 2 CE?

Since you asked here is a detailed estimate of what it costs to ship packages with GFC. Here you go!

Shipping to Canada (GFC):

** All the following weights up to 4 pounds are shipped with USPS First Class Mail:

$03.00 USD = 5 ounces – 6 ounces (typical video game DVD rate)
$03.50 USD = 7 ounces
$04.50 USD = 8 ounces – 12 ounces
$05.50 USD = 12 ounces – 15 ounces
$06.50 USD = 1 Pound
$10.00 USD = 2 Pounds
$14.00 USD = 3 Pounds
$18.00 USD = 4 Pounds

** All the following weights are more than 4 pounds and therefore are shipped with USPS Priority Mail instead **

$27.00 USD = 5 Pounds
$29.00 USD = 6 Pounds
$31.00 USD = 7 Pounds
$33.00 USD = 8 Pounds
$35.00 USD = 9 Pounds
$37.00 USD = 10 Pounds

For all weights over 10 pounds, add $2.00 USD per pound (rough estimate that follows USPS guidelines)

Hey Goomba I received both parts so we are good there. the hand grip i was complaining about was just an additional grip for your palm for small hands. Judging from your picture, the grip doesnt seem to be included. That is fine, though my small gripe was you were selling it as complete which it wasnt. But I know you were acting on good faith that it was complete so I thank you. It works good so that all that matters!

I bought it brand new from like that from Gamestop and they told me that was everything that it came with. Sorry man! I have another one. I'll crack the box open and see if the handle is in there. If it is, it's yours. I really thought that was everything. Thanks for letting me know. I'll let you know if I find it (can you show me a photo?) ... thanks again!

Also, check out Amazon.com which goomba gets free shipping and I think no tax on. A lot of games have discounts. You can sign up with ECA and use the 10% coupons from them to bring it down too. For example Uncharted 2 is $56.99 - 10% = $51.30 - $5 gift card you get = $46.30. Toys R Us Price? $45.33.

Firestorm, no sorry Halo 3 ODST will be shipping separately. I just wanted to get you all those items out ASAP. Oh and yes Tales of Vesperia is particularly excellent :)

I do in fact get free shipping from Amazon, and no tax but the ECA is something that is limited to one per 24 hour period, so I don't count it in for GFC purposes. If you want to sign up on your own and ship things to my UPS address then you can do that (and save a lot of money). Just keep in mind that I charge $1.00 additional per package for the UPS shipping address as I have to pay yearly usage charges ($200+). Thanks!

Absolutely Jest, though it's not actually a PO Box. It's an actual mailing address (since many stores do not ship to PO Box addresses). I pay yearly for a business shipping address with a UPS Store. There are three simple rules though:

1) You have to send a Direct Request to let me know what you are shipping there and approximate date it will arrive (I check my UPS store once a week as packages there more than 7 days cost me $1.00 USD per day).

2) You agree to pay $1.00 additional for each box sent to my UPS store as I have to pay to use the account.

3) You will have to ship it in my name and my name only (not even C/O: Your name) because the owners of the UPS store are very strict about this. I had to sign papers that say they can legally sign for my packages, but if any peoples names appear other than my own, they will refuse them. Since you have already let me know in the DR that you have shipped to the store, I will know who to credit them to and will send an invoice for shipping to Canada once I get your items. Make sense?

If you are interested in this please let me know and I will PM you the full address. Thanks!

Hey Goomba,

I preordered a game from Amazon.com (stacking ECA discount FTW!) and I currently having it sent to your home address with my name in the C/O part. Is this correct for Amazon purchases?

I'll be sending a DR for it later as it's not scheduled to ship for another two months.

Oh, wait... So Goomba... If we apply for our own ECA thing, we can ship it to your business address? (I assume it won't work to ship to your house to avoid the charges or whatever... unless you ship everything to your UPS account).

How much is the ECA membership, and it applies to ANY item on amazon, correct? This will be a good thing to know when I order my $200 camera. Also... how many gift cards can you stack on a single purchase?

Jbently, you can use the house address with the C/O thing for now, but I will be soon stopping this process since UPS will no longer deliver to my house when I'm not home, and I seldom am. So it's actually faster (and safer) to just ship to my UPS address, since they can sign for it and keep it locked in a special area for me until I pick them up. And yes, please submit a DR when you can so I can get your invoice ready. Thanks!

RoganSarine, I'm slowly moving away from shipping things here because my apartment/townhouse thingy doesn't really have a mail system set for packages. They either leave them at my door (which they won't do for Amazon purchases because they are "Signature Required" purchases, or they make me drive half an hour away to pick them up. It doesn't really make sense to drive so far to get packages when I already have a UPS store account that will hold the games for me (which I pick up 1-2 times a week). So yeah, pretty soon I will ask you guys not to ship things to my apartment as it actually complicates orders significantly :) I just did it before because I didn't have a business UPS account, but now I do ^_^ Thanks for understanding! Yeah, ECA was free a while back (and I think it is). There's a thread for it on CAG.

Hey Goomba, any way I can convince you to grab a copy of The Dark Spire (DS) from EB or Gamestop? I hear they're $5 new right now and that's quite the steal.

Median, I can check my local stores again but I had cleared them out recently with other CAGs. I will check.

DarthSilverice, things are going good. Very busy but hope you do too :)

** STUPID QUESTION FROM GOOMBA **

Hey guys I just typed this and CAG deleted it so, here it goes again: Stupid question, but are any of you here considering to buy a PSP Go? I was thinking it was a pretty ridiculous purchase but I have to admit after holding one in the Sony Style store today, I'm really thinking it's an incredible little device. Worth $250? Probably not, especially considering I have a PSP-2000 (Slim) and a bunch of UMD games, but there's no denying it feels great, incredibly light and looks awesome. Unfortunately, the store didn't have it powered properly so it was completely dead (screen wouldn't even turn on) but just holding it I could see why it'd be popular. I'm thinking for now though it's probably best to keep my Slim and just maybe buy some of the sale games (like the ones from NIS right now) since the older PSPs can still download all the same content. What say you guys?

Unless you think your PSP-2000 is WAY too big (maybe you have small pockets? ), I don't think the PSP Go is worth it at all, especially considering you can get a freakin' PS3 for 50 bucks more. You're essentially getting a device you already have, but which can't do as much. I'd stick with my PSP-2000 and get $250 worth of PSP games/downloads!

Well I already have a PS3, and I don't have real issue with the PSP size. It is bigger than I would like, but I'm thinking the PSP Go has some unique things (like bluetooth and the fact that you can control it with a PS3 controller as far as I understand it? I'd LOVE that feature personally). But yeah, definitely gotta wait for it. Not worth trading in my current PSP and paying $150 more for a system I already own. Definitely not =P Thanks for knocking some sense into me.

Actually, while the bluetooth is great... You know the limiting factor that isn't the pricepoint? They put freaking Wireless B in it -- not G (the standard right now), or N (the new generation stuff)... Wireless B... The slowest stuff that's on the market that is still supported.

Why put this in a PSP that is at premium price and requires digital everything?! To make downloads excrutiatingly long? Dumbest cut back they could have made. I, however, don't know the current PSP wireless mode, but they should have made the PSPGo atleast G.

Alright... I'll go see if I can dig up the free ECA membership thing... Goomba, is it okay if I just redeem a bunch of gift cards with my swag points and just give them to you as credit until I decide to use them? May as well give you some temporary cash until I need it.
