Got the Ribbon for the weekend. Terrible Event IMO. Instead of random BS events, how about good events, Epic? Gimmicks suck. Bonuses are awesome.

I'm just AFK'ing now in Private TDM against Bots. I was at 178 before. I was at 270 CTL's but I need to get a lot of Untouchables so I'll do those after I get the 300 for TDM and Wingman.

That's what makes me wonder if you could do this during a boss wave. The whole part where Anya gets suspended in the air made me curious if she could have been attacked in the time.

Having a team with 5 Vulcan's to take on a few Gunkers, or Reavers, or Brumaks, or even Berzerkers could be quite valuable.
 
Today i found something weird. When i was starting up a private horde game split screen, in the character selection i could already see kim, tai, the woman, and barrick. They were half way clear, and not able to be selected. Like they were locked. But when i tried to see them with only 1 profile logged in, it didnt show them.

Wow if i go into multiplayer options it shows the 4 cog characters and a $ by their head. When i click it, it pops up RAAMS shadow: Pack 2. It says it costs -1 MS point. When i clicked it, it says Required balance 4294967295 MS points lolol

I hope that when you guys are idling that you use a Female Character. You can get Warrior Goddess (or whatever it's called) multiple times.

...ironically it sends the wrong kinda message. play a female, idle boost, be afk, get rewarded. haha.

I think he was joking, about being a female AFK. XD

Ive been playing beast lately, its pretty fun. I remember when the game first came out and i could hardly find a match. But i havent have many problems getting a game. Healing teammates with the kantus can be easy if you can find a spot to hide since you cant take cover as a kantus. Also doesnt help when other players are also a kantus. -_-

I still have no idea how you get a kill by swallowing a nade as a savage ticker. I mean where do you get a nade to swallow, and how do you swallow it?

Last night i got a ribbon for beating a Beast Mode round with 1 second left, first time too!
 
@7th - you get someone who's playing a savage grenadier to give you a nade there's an option for it if you're next to them (X) i think, the animation looks like the genadier plants it on the group and you eat it up...then you rush over to someone and pop like a normal ticker would. It's something to that effect, i've been fed nades by randoms as well as some how found them planted on the ground to eat.
 
I honestly didn't think about that. I'm good at unintentional things like that. It's just a good way to get cheap XP in my opinion.

I'm 111 kills from the Killing Humans Onyx in Beast. I'll do that later tonight in split-screen where you can get 100 kills in about 8 waves due to the abundance of deaths.

I hope they go back to the original XP levels soon to encourage people to play again.

I didn't realize it was double XP until after the fact. Oh well, I'll wait for the next one and do a boosting session then. That'll be fun...:roll:

Any good way to boost Leader medal? (untouchable ribbons in CTL). I just played at least 15 matches to get bronze in Abductor, and not even once was i the leader. I really hate this mode, and dont want to play it online.

yea that'd be awesome, or even if they just limited it to season pass buyers (not trying to hate... just kinda lame they'd release stuff for sale and not give it to people that dropped $30 on a season pass). i'd prefer earning it too anyways, i think avatar stuff is kinda stupid (tho i have bought some) but i enjoy it quite a bit when it's unlockable in game.

and also, free fortifications tomorrow? how does that work?

All Baseline Fortifications are free, but upgrades/repairs cost cash. That's my guess. I believe that starts today.

I can't wait for my wife to find a job so that I can Idle boost. she is always using one of the xbox's for netflixs.

IDK why the weapon skins arent fully candy cane or mint. They have black areas on them which kind of make them a little bit ugly. They should have been fully covered IMO. I guess its not a big deal since its only for the holidays.

But i came here to complain about the stupid RAAMs shadow trying to charge me. I didnt buy it, but it would be nice if they fix it fast. I woke up and figured id download it, only to find out i cant. :bomb:

What's really funny is that some people who just paid for the DLC have just spent 1200MS points and have already played the whole DLC! As the SP holders sit back and just wish they could start the Download.

In private matches, you are leader every 5 rounds. Play on Blood Drive, both teams rush down the stairs.

if you have a 2nd controller set up the 2nd profile as the one in-command of the screen.*(at the main menu hit start with the 2nd profile/contoller) set-up a match I would say
1 round match
10 sec hold
1 bots
Casual bots

Then put both profiles on the same team. the first round/game the 2nd profile/controller will be the leader. but after that your main account will be the leader.
 
WTH, i start to download the DLC and i back out of the game and my active download disappears. Whenever i remove the download pop up, it turns up no active downloads.

Has to be kept open and right now at least for me it is downloading at a snail's pace, took an hour to hit 18 percent. Going to try again in a few hours
 
Anyone want to breeze through the 4-player DLC campaign this weekend? I'll be free Saturday night around 6 or 7 EST if people are open for it.

I'm planning to do the campaign solo first so I have a chance to purely enjoy the story, but after that I'm up for doing it in 4-player Arcade and doing the Zeta Squad Horde achievement, if anyone wants to get a group going.

you should go to your recent download list and download it there so you don't have to sit there in the screen and let it download.

right now i have the game installed so the disc isnt spinning. Got a controller plugged in and its downloading from in game so i should be alright.
