Okay, I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one that's had this happen. It was the weirdest damn thing to be standing there and get shocked by/through the neck of the guitar. What the hell's up with that? I think one of my five fret buttons worked after that and the strum bar would only accept strums going up. This actually happened to me twice last night. After the first time, it started working again eventually. Not so much with the second time though. Did it ever start working again for you, Ronin? Has anyone else had this happen to them?
It worked again for a bit later...but now it seems, I dunno, touchy? I had to let it sit for a while, then it worked again, but I had to shut everything off and start over...it stopped working again later midway through a song (that I was actually doing good with

), and I just gave up and went to bed.
I'm going to have to try and scrape off the glue - I was reluctant to do that because I don't want Red Octane to refuse my exchange because they can tell it's been messed with, you know? Even if I adjust it and it works, I'm still exchanging the damn thing.
Edited to add - My guitar is now simply

ed. Only the red button, the start button, and strumming up work. I give up.
