Did JR just say that all the money in the bank winners had become champions?

I don't remember Mr Kennedy being champ.
Edge did win the title after stealing the MITB shot from Kennedy. Technicalities...

That promo appears to be what'll lead to Flair-HBK, and that was a fantastic video package. When they showed the HoF induction graphic, it hit me that it really will be the end of his active career. Unbelievable, but I look forward to seeing Flair have one more classic match, at WrestleMania.

Ya, looks to be that way. I can accept HBK as being the guy to end Flair's career. I know that beating Flair could be a huge rub for over does the honors, but dammit Flair is too good to lose to anyone who isn't one of the all-time greats themself. Michaels is a great choice, although I hope Flair wins at WM anyway. Perhaps he could leave at Backlash?
I fully expect to see that WitW that completely missed in the next Botchamania.
Yep. Even my wife laughed about that.
More interesting than last year's crap with Trump, and certainly better than LT vs Bam Bam... ugh.
I agree with that much.

That was ridiculous.

You bring back the Big Show, a man who had the best monster run in years before leaving, and you feed him to a midget boxer while making him look like a complete bitch.

Yet another money segment between Mayweather and Show - Show was fantastic on the mic, while Mayweather played his part of the arrogant guy perfectly. This is excellent, exciting stuff.
I'm guessing Show would be Bald Bull and Mayweather is Little Mac.

That reeked of the Attitude era.
Shades of Tyson/Austin.

 I could see that. Especially with Cena wearing that damn NES shirt now.

Hmm, on second thought, maybe Show resembles Bear Hugger a bit more, heaven forbid he wears overalls one day... or shaves and steals Lawler's crown, hey it's King Hippo!

Even Kennedy gets a new intro? His older one was much better.

And putting him up against Val? I'll be on the edge of my seat wondering whose gonna go over in this one
I suddenly wanna play Punch-Out
EDIT: Did Mayweather say "plubicity"?

They're just building up Volume 8 - like every other time they've done this, odds are, guys with worse themes will go back to good ones once it's out and folks have forgotten about it.

I'm not watching Raw, but I can tell you that that's not an act.

Like everyone in a wrestling ring...

"It's just the real me with the volume turned all the way up."
BTW, is it just me or is Kennedy noticeably smaller?
That crazy wellness policy.

Looks like they're trying to set the WM card early this year again, a good move if you ask me.
BTW, is it just me or is Kennedy noticeably smaller?
One thing I noticed is that, when guys decrease in size suddenly, the first noticeable sign is that their neck suddenly looks a lot longer than it did previously (as the traps shrink). Nigel McGuinness looked like that a few weeks back - and Kennedy shows a little less in that area, but overall not much smaller.

I just think Nigel wasn't able to work hs bicep as much and avoided a lot of the exercise in that area in order to keep his rehab going strong. Remember he didn't do surgery.

Don't be naive. Every wrestler is on the gas.

I think the crowd is just really quiet and dead tonight. They haven't done much of anything - they really emphasized how boring Snitsky is overall as well, as his long match with Jeff Hardy was an absolute *chore* to watch.

Kennedy is noticeably smaller (and also pudgier) - he's probably clean, especially after making such a complete fool of himself once it was revealed that he was on the juice after proclaiming to the hilt that he was clean. Finlay and JBL were great in that segment, even if it was a bit disturbing, and went on a bit too long. It was good to have J.R. and King silent throughout it - take note, TNA.

Jeff is normally a solid choice for the opening match, much in the way Jericho, HBK and Rey get the crowd excited and that can carry throughout the whole show. But, Snitsky? Ugh... why hasn't he been de-pushed back to ECW? The guy is never going to work, why not give that spot to someone else? Hopefully if the rosters are shuffled again this year, Snitsky will be off Raw.

On a completely unrelated note, what happened to the gay cowboys?

The non-ugly one got injured.

I've thought about this for a while and I've got to say that Candice's face looks an awful lot like a witch or an evil stepmother.

Was Jericho even on the show tonight? He might have been on during the three minutes I went to get a drink.

Also, they should add midget tossing to every episode of RAW from now on. Maybe they'll be ending the Hornswoggle crap soon enough now.

The wha?

Snitsky *is* de-pushed, as he played the same role Val Venis did tonight. If that's not a de-push I don't know what is.

I'm kind of surprised they didn't have Murdoch team with Spanky, that'd be a typical booking move.

What the hell happened to tag team wrestling... I doubt we'll see a tag title match at WM again this year. Cody and Holly might wrestle the WM dark match or something, and I don't even know who is the SD tag champs anymore. Sad, very sad.

Can we still call them "Team Brokeback". That might be offensive to Heath Ledger, and Fox might come and shut CAG down.

On a side note, anyone remember when they did their initial vignettes and they were being booked as a... hmm the name of the movie suddenly escapes me, this is an obvious one here and my mind just went blank, odd. Someone help... Deliverance! That's it, I think?
