Parents today are the biggestWhile I was at the lego store, a little girl was looking at the City sets and her dad was like, "are you sure you don't want to look at the friends sets?" I just thought, really dude? I was glad when I saw her head to the register with two city sets in hand.
I have an extra Huey (red duck) and Dale (lighter color chipmunk). I also have an extra Jack Skellington, Fro-Zone, and a few non-Disney minifigs as well. I will post a photo later in case anyone wants to trade.Anyone have Dewey, Louie, Chip, and Dale to sell / trade? I went to the Lego store today and they had them all sorted out, all you had to do was ask which you wanted. I wanted to get the Ducktales collection, but they were all out of those 2.
Edit: Actually, I got Lewie, im missing the blue and red ones.
Over-dramatic much?Parents today are the biggesting problem, they are simply assholes who shouldn't be allowed to breed.
Making excuses for today's horrible parents much?Over-dramatic much?
You have zero context of this father and daughter interaction. I have two daughters and they have CIty sets, Creator sets, Star Wars sets, Disney Sets, Minecraft sets, DC sets, Architecture sets, and yes, plenty of Friends sets.
Maybe they discussed new Friends sets in the car and dad was reminding her she wanted to look at something particular in that line. Maybe she's collected Friends in the past and is just growing out of it and he wanted to make sure she didn't want to give them a look anyway.
Sheesh.
Logged in just to like this. Outrage culture is at its worst right now. I eagerly await for the pendulum to swing back the other way.Over-dramatic much?

You can only do one physical redeem per transaction but I think you can do $5+$5+$10 whatever as many as you want, but they expire now after like 45 days. So don't redeem until you are ready to use them.Question now is can you use more than one redemption in a single transaction. Anyone tried yet?
There is a VIP Lego Store set for 500 points, or a poster of the copyright of the first plastic brick. You can only do one of those per order, but with the rebates you should go unlimited. You can always email to make sure, they reply within a few days.Physical as in they mail you a gift card? So you could use more than a single digital code on the website? Is that what you're saying?
The idea had five dinosaurs, none were a t-rex, they completely changed it.Love the designs but leaving out one of the three dinos hurts it a lot for me, not sure i'll bother
I didn't even know it was 16+. No one followers the ages anyways, but I agree. It's not as great of a set as I wish it was, but I think it will be a huge seller. I'm a little surprised they didn't throw in a female head to make it unisex. (Or just use a damn smilie face.)The fossils set is a really excellent holiday gift. I think that is partly why it's at the $60 price point. I will be getting 2-3 of these for friends' kids who are in the 8-10 year range. The one thing I think LEGO screwed up is making this set 16+. There's no reason it needs to be.
A bunch of junk, but Hospital is $50, Disco Batman Castle is $50, Sandcrawler is $70, Donut Shop is $7.50, Rexplorer is $60, JW Manor is $65, horrible set but great for pieces.Target.com has a lot of different sets at 50% off.
The first two sets are okay. The Rexplorer is very good. I highly recommend the Pop-Up Party Bus though. One of my favorite sets of the year.I'm debating Sweet Mayham's Ship and Emmet's House/Ship and Rexplorer but I think I might wait for 70% off.
I have been taking a break from buying Lego but I jumped on the hospital, pop up party bus, and the Buzz and Woody Carnival Mania set. Thanks for the heads up.Target.com has a lot of different sets at 50% off.
I loved the colors, there's a pretty nifty interlocking multi-part stage setup and an integrated disco ball with light brick. It's just a very fun set all around, imho. Why is the pop up bus so impressive to everyone?

How do I flood my storage unit?Insurance company paid out in full for all of my damaged LEGO. Time for a shopping spree.
