Thanks
If you go to the Spotlight section - There is a link to a website called 'Can you run it?' it will help you find games that your machine can play.
If you are ONLY going to stay in the MMORPG arena - There are a ton of games that I posted. I think only the only 2 you can not play at all would be 'Age Of Conan' and 'MegaTen' as those games are extremely beautiful and require beefy rigs.
The are some great 2D MMORPGs that I posted like 'Dungeon Fighter' that only reason I don't play that game anymore is because the one friend that I played it with got shipped off to the war and we will continue when she is free to do so or when she returns.
Your video card has these specs
Name: VIA/S3G UniChrome IGP
Manufacturer: VIA/S3G
Chip Type: VIA/S3G UniChrome IGP
DAX Type: Internal
Approx. Total Memory: 64.0 MB
Looks like you have an HP. When you are ready to upgrade - There are many on this forum that can help you get a great rig for cheap.
If you are willing to clip coupons and abuse rebate programs like me - You can get a beefy rig for under $400.
My last rig was this one.
CPU: AMD Phenom II X3 720
MB: MSI DKA790GX
RAM: Kingston HyperX 4GB
Videocard: HIS Radeon 4870 512MB
Hard Drive: Western Digital Caviar 500 Black x 4
PSU: Rosewill RP550V2-S-SL
Case: Antec Skeleton PC Case
OS: Windows XP Professional SP 3 (Gamer Edits) and Ubuntu 9.10 (Gamer Edits)
NO DVD Drive, NO CD-ROM - I do everything via USB or download.
Total cost after rebates and coupons: $188.93
^ You may not one to go my route but you get the point.
PS - Yes I know that Mir (all versions) are free. Most players on this forum are asking for less MMORPGs but when I revisit that game soon...I may post it up. I had it posted on my original list on a long Dead PCGamer Forums.
im downloading 'Perfect World International' atm (hoping it works), although im not a big fan of the whole 3d mmo's, amazingly this peice of shit pc ran WoW with no problems at all lol, but i couldnt get into the game properly.
My problem is every mmo i try, i make too many comparisons to mir, and for some strange reason can never play them longer than a day and soon find myself back on boring old mir lol.
As for getting a new rig, its not something i can afford to do atm and in england we dont get those rebate thing's your talking about
i dont quite know what u meant by ''Looks like you have an HP'', do you mean a hewlett packard?
edit - i dont think dungeon fighters is my cup of tea, any suggestions for a mir-type feel game would be appreciated (2d/2.5d isometric as opposed to fully 3d)
