sometimes you can get a hold of big point codes (ie 30 pt or 60 pt)

and that specific type of code can only be used a certain number of times

I have multiples because you can only enter 120 points per week and I work in a Coke Distribution Warehouse so I get a major amount of points from destroyed and recycled product (usually around 300-400 points per week). Therefore instead of stock piling them I just use one under my name and one under my wife's name so I can redeem 240 points per week instead of only 120 points.


On that note I also have a 12pk code for the first person who can tell me the only NCAA basketball team to beat the Murray St Racers this year.

Somehow it's broken for me. Not only was I on just after 7PM, I searched all over, and not only couldn't I find a 70 pointer, I also couldn't find a standard 35 pointer, either. Stupid.

Did it give you the popup when you logged in showing a diamond? If not you were too early and you would need to log out, then back in again. If you find one and it is a spinng radar, that is the 35 pointer. You will have another shot at the same time on Sunday. I will try to post earlier Sun day as I almost forgot today.

Haven't caught many intentional 70 pointers myself before today, but nothing was showing at 6:00 or 6:01 according to my (Central Standard) clock, either. Had to log out and back in to get the diamond to show itself whenever the site flipped the switch like slowdive said.

Wasn't your fault at all. I was watching the clock, and went on at the proper time. Yes, it showed me the popup when I logged in, and then when I killed the popup windows, there just weren't any rewards to be had *anywhere*, red, spinning radar...nothing. I think I'll just be happy collecting the 35 pointers...so long as they do come back.

What exactly is this about the 70 pointer? I think ive missed what it is.

Havent noticed anything new on MCR, and the "Special offers" etc say nothing about this sort of promotion.

If there are free 70 point codes going around for clicking something on the site, I sure dont want to miss them!

Here is my slightly modified original post:

You guys may want to look at the artichome stuff.

If you donate 70 pts, you can explore the terrain and get 35 points back per with only one 70 pt donation.

70 pointers come up on Fridays and Sundays at 7PM Eastern, 6 Central, 4 Pacific
Here are some tips:

1) You can usually spin around and find the diamond
2) Click "redeem at MCR"
3) You have to log out of AC and MCR and log back in for the points to show in your account
4) If you log back in to both accounts and a window comes up about diamonds, that means there is another diamond available for you to find!


I've been piecing this together at SD, but no one reads my posts there (maybe not here either ;) )

You get a 35 pointer guaranteed daily. The 70s are limited bonuses. I donated 70 pts and now I have over 2,200 from the diamonds.

A 70 point donation to Arctic Home is the minimum needed, and that's all you need to do to really get going. Once you donate the points, head on over to www.arctichome.com to select your parcel, and once you start navigating around (after you're registered and signed in, of course), you'll daily see a reminder window that "rewards" (in the form of red diamond shapes) are randomly placed in the area. This means that if you stay in one place and look 360 degrees, you should normally find your 35 point diamond in your vicinity once you're logged in for the day. Click on it and choose "Redeem at MCR" to add 35 points to your MCR total. As you can see, after 2 days, you get your initial investment of 70 points back, and everything after that is gravy. It appears to me that the whole thing's going to come to a grinding halt on 3/15 of this year, so if you want to make some decent points, now's the time to get moving on it.

As for the 70 point special bonuses, apparently they only release them a couple of times a week on Friday and Sunday at 7PM EST, but my computer's pretty slow, and I haven't been able to cash in on them yet.

One more important thing: the MCR points you get through this promotion are strictly *bonus* points, meaning there's no limit to how many you can get per week (I would say that you could get 385 points in one week, if you went on every day *and* were able to get the two 70 pointers as well), and that's IN ADDITION TO your 120 point limit of code entries. So, it's really worthwhile. I've easily netted over 500 points from this thing.

Alright, So I donated my 70 points, signed in in arctic home and all that jazz, and found the 35 point diamond.

I clicked it and then clicked Redeem at MCR. It popped me over to MCR, and left me at the main page...and thats it. There was no code on the pop up after clicking the diamond, So I assumed it was automatic.

After clicking it the diamond pop up went away - so now im just left at arctic home with no red diamond, and at MCR home page with no extra 35 points.

What did I do wrong

EDIT: Oh cool look at that - it just takes a minute to update the points. They showed up about 10 minutes later.

Cool cool, glad I saw this thread - least I can get a few hundred points out of it til it ends, wish I had got in earlier. Doesnt seem like they do big promos like this very often, or maybe I just always miss them

You have to log out/then back in for the points to show in your total. Nope this is a rarity! Free points are nice!
 
Got my 70 also got something about a patch award thing before that not sure what that's about though. Logged out after the patch thing and logged back in and sure enough the 70 pointer was right on my screen.

If you log on quick enough they should be easy to find. Personally I always get the 35 pointer around 11 pm central and than at 6-6:01 central I log on and the three or four times I've tried I've gotten the 70s without issue.

That's what I do as well. I think they were gone within 5 minutes this time.

I only started doing this on Sunday, 2/26 and I found a 35 pt. diamond within a few minutes. Later that night I logged on for the new MCR day -- after 11:00 PM Central time and I found another 35 pt. diamond. I have made back my initial donation of 70 points.

However, now when I logged in for the new day I'm seeing no pop-up window about Rewards and there have been NO more red diamonds. I do a 360 view and nothing has shown up.
 
Same here, I haven't gotten a diamond in a few days either (half me forgetting, half the site not loading). They possibly could have got overrun by code hunters.

That would be a shame hopefully it's just some glitch but at least I'm not the only one with that problem.
 
Well, as of now it wont even let me log into MCR or Arctichome. It says on AH that it doesnt recognize my email or password, and it says on MCR "Were sorry, we were unable to process your request at this time, please try again in a few moments"

Been like that since about 7 pm. And I could find no red diamond before then.. that being said, ive been getting my diamonds the past 3 days at like 11pm so who knows...maybe it takes 24 hours to reset?
 
^^I checked SD and everyone's account is now like that. We don't have to worry about that at least. The only concern now is the death of the diamonds.

Agreed. Mine's "dead" too, so we can assume that Coke is aware of the issue. Don't know if diamonds will return, though.
 
Well, I certainly hope they do...

I got only 3 days of the diamonds, got in on it late but was still hoping to get some decent points from it.

Sucks I didnt hear about it earlier.

And onto arctic home. but still no gem on AH...


EDIT: Just a thought but... maybe another 70 point donation is required to bring back the diamonds for the remaining period of time?

Oh and since noone mentioned it... today's deal is Spy Kids 4 on DVD for 450 points. Regularly it's 750.
 
Still no rewards, and the total donations tally has risen again, meaning I don't think there are going to be new diamonds today, either.

Sucks. It was good while it lasted!

If anyone was planning to take a Royal Caribbean cruise anytime soon, there are deals for on board certificates. $25 for 313 or $50 for 625. I wonder how they work though, if you could pick up casino chips (doubtful) you could turn it straight to cash. Probably good for whatever you charge to your room.
