Be aware that not all Sears are alike, so prices are definitely YMMV.
List
  • date = date posted or updated
  • cp = current price
  • opp = old posted price
  • (oos) = out of system
  • * = posted at different prices (more than twice, most are)
Colors
  • white = current update
  • dark gray = old (ie. out of stock items)
if the prices are not updated in over a month, it will be colored as dark gray.

notes:
  • Don't turn this into your own trade list. Don't ask people if they want to trade X game for your Y game. PM is the best way to ask. Do your trading on the Sears Trade Thread.
  • Print UPC-A barcodes if you're having a hard time getting someone to open the cases for you. If you need UPCs refer to Half.com (just type the name of the game) or to io's kmart clearance thread. Go to either UPCDatabase.com or Barcodesinc.com to generate a UPC A barcode.
  • If you bring up a game and the employee scans it and does not show up in the system, it is most likely that the item has been pulled out of their inventory (most of us would call it 'out of system'). What this means is that the item must be returned to the manufacturer (so they were told anyways, but i don't believe it..). You can try to get them to sell it to you for the stickered price shown or maybe lower. It depends on the employee or manager.
  • Some of you are confused as to why some games are priced and rung up at retail prices but its listed below as clearanced at their respective clearance prices. Heres a good example:
    • 100607 ... 01.97 ... 09.97 ... Dead or Alive 4 (Non PH) *
    • ^^^^^ notice how the last reported price was October 6, 2007. The Platinum Hits version was also on clearance since it shared the Regular version's barcode. But they put the price back up in retail a few months later. Hence you still see the game now as retail instead of clearance.

so lucky me... my manager told me to go to the back stock room to clean out clearance shit. alot of cables(dvi, optical..ect)

then i was like let me go to the boxes with a bunch of ps2,gc, and xbox games.

i found this

gamecube wavebird $2.97
xmen game for gamecube $3.97
paper mario $11.97
sega sonic collection for ps2 $4.97

the rest is a blur because it was useless crap like those combos that come with a controller and a ski game for $3 something. they like to call this stuff vom.. very old merchindise. im not making this shit up.

there were more games but for the most part imo they were not worth remembering. also there was about 5 rogue galaxys and some fat old guy snatched them like a month ago. what will he do with 5 copies?

Update: my manager went throught the ps2/ps3/wii/ and 360 locked up cases.

we now have a batch of clearance games. i dont remember all but there were a few ps3 games.

maybe thats why i dont no it. ur right that game is only for the psp. i musta put it into my head with a game that started with a d.

im pretty sure the game started with a d, but it wasnt darksector. ill post later when i get back from work around 11ish

just came from there and saw the datel max memory cards (for wii/gamecube) for a dollar there were four left and i took them all! (just playing i only took two cause i remembered how some people want to get on deals like these...besides im actually going to use these not resell them)
 
Well I recently went to sears and... I was looking at the video games behind the glass displays when an associate/manager came over and asked if I needed help. I asked if he could check the price for Persona3. He went over to a computer and looked up the price online and said it was 29.99. I was about to tell him that I was going to take it, but I asked if he would mind opening the glass display because sometimes the prices vary online from the store price. He said I was wrong, that he's worked in the industry for over 30 years and he has never heard of the prices varying in any way. He said that he didn't need to open the glass display because the price wasn't different. He also told me that he wasn't going to open the glass case anymore to check the price because I was not going to purchase the game, and that he worked on commission, so I was wasting his time because there were other customers that he could help that were actually going to PURCHASE SOMETHING UNLIKE ME... such nice workers at my local sears don't you think? :)

I had a guy like that in electronics...So I brought my stuff up front (after he got it from the lockup) and went to a normal cashier. Problem solved. :lol:

Persona2... You mean Persona 3 or Persona 3:FES right? If Persona 3, maybe that's a new clearance item. Or did this Sears have some very old stock?

I must be real lucky. Ever since I first went to the Sears by me, the electronics workers have all been great. Generally, my son will play with the TVs and entertain 2 of the girls in that section, while the guys who work the game section are also gamers. We talked about CoD4 for about 30 mins the other day, and already have each other's PSN IDs. Additionally, they've never had a problem pulling a game from the case to check the price for me; I must just be a cool guy :)

i could see if they were being lazy about opening the case but they wouldnt refuse u. i never seen anyone ever refuse a customer in the sears i work at.

seriouly if he did do that you should have gotten his name and reported him on sears.com. who the hell is he to not open the case. and btw he went on the site which is always off in price.

you need to scan it or have the upc code which is pretty long. but if i approach a customer and they ask me how much a random game is i guess.

if the customer asks me to check the price i will, but i just tell them its probably however much makes sense. most wii games are $30-$50, ps3 $30-$60...ect

sears sucks and will go outa business and this is coming from a employee

madden 07 is the only clearance wii game in the sears i work at. i thin kit was $14.97

I would try Oddworld. I've heard some good things about it. That's a pretty good find for that price.
 
Just picked up xbox 360 512mb memory card for $16.97 here in bellevue wa. They had bunch of 64mb but this was the last one. I think this is a price mistake because even there was clearance tag sears system was showing as regular price $49.99..

Unfortunately I wasn't the one who purchased this, but we had one Xbox 360 Messenger Kit which was clearanced at 22.97. Had I realized it'd been clearanced I'd have picked that up, just busted my headset the other night...

If you get a new headset I would avoid the official Microsoft ones (which are fragile). I've had this Plantronics one for months without any problems:

That's actually the one I bought from gamestop the other night-- My main issue with it is that it seems rather desensitized. I'm quiet to start with and all my lines were getting cut off at the beginning, so I swapped with my husband, but it still seems fairly hard to hear him sometimes, which means it's about impossible to hear him over some of the idiots on XBL who insist on screaming down their mics.

I'll probably keep it anyway, since we do need a headset, just sucks that I appear to be too soft spoken for it.

Noticed the 64 mb xbox360 memory cards are 17.97 (if memory serves) at my store as well.
 
So has anyone checked to see if Persona 3 has started the clearance cycle? A couple of posts ago mentioned it and I'm curious to see if it dropped yet.
 
Went so sears today and bought another copy of Kameo for $2.97, Phantasy Star Universe for $2.97 and Lemmings for $2.97 not the listed $7.97.
