Be aware that not all Sears are alike, so prices are definitely YMMV.
List
  • date = date posted or updated
  • cp = current price
  • opp = old posted price
  • (oos) = out of system
  • * = posted at different prices (more than twice, most are)
Colors
  • white = current update
  • dark gray = old (ie. out of stock items)
if the prices are not updated in over a month, it will be colored as dark gray.

notes:
  • Don't turn this into your own trade list. Don't ask people if they want to trade X game for your Y game. PM is the best way to ask. Do your trading on the Sears Trade Thread.
  • Print UPC-A barcodes if you're having a hard time getting someone to open the cases for you. If you need UPCs refer to Half.com (just type the name of the game) or to io's kmart clearance thread. Go to either UPCDatabase.com or Barcodesinc.com to generate a UPC A barcode.
  • If you bring up a game and the employee scans it and does not show up in the system, it is most likely that the item has been pulled out of their inventory (most of us would call it 'out of system'). What this means is that the item must be returned to the manufacturer (so they were told anyways, but i don't believe it..). You can try to get them to sell it to you for the stickered price shown or maybe lower. It depends on the employee or manager.
  • Some of you are confused as to why some games are priced and rung up at retail prices but its listed below as clearanced at their respective clearance prices. Heres a good example:
    • 100607 ... 01.97 ... 09.97 ... Dead or Alive 4 (Non PH) *
    • ^^^^^ notice how the last reported price was October 6, 2007. The Platinum Hits version was also on clearance since it shared the Regular version's barcode. But they put the price back up in retail a few months later. Hence you still see the game now as retail instead of clearance.

the TRU in wayne (wayne hills mall) has literally hundreds of Kameo's for $5 and PDZ $5 and PDZ: LE for $8, there were only 4 there in the glass case but the manager said he had a crap load more in the back, the willowbrook mall sears had a few PDZ labeled 19.99 since someone said they bought one i doubt there aren't any left but if there aren't any at least u know where u can get one :)
 
Headed to Baldwin Park Mall here in L.A. and found a copy of Castlevania Portrait of Ruin for $2.97, also grabbed Open Season 360 $3.97.

Then I went to the Sears over on Olympic and managed to find Odama for the Gamecube, Perfect Dark Zero LE both didn't come up in the system, so they wouldn't sell them to me. They had 5 copies of Star Trek Legacy for $7.97.
 
Headed to Baldwin Park Mall here in L.A. and found a copy of Castlevania Portrait of Ruin for $2.97, also grabbed Open Season 360 $3.97.

Then I went to the Sears over on Olympic and managed to find Odama for the Gamecube, Perfect Dark Zero LE both didn't come up in the system, so they wouldn't sell them to me. They had 5 copies of Star Trek Legacy for $7.97.

thats messed up. when that happens they are suppose to give u the price of another clearance game. its very messed up not to give u a product on the floor which was suppose to be sent to rtv but they didnt send it back.

btw the sears i work at has recenlty sent all the clearance stuff to the back to be sent out to where ever they send the stuff once it hits $0

They were coded with the prices of other games alright, Odama came up as Sonic Heroes for $19.99, and Perfect Dark Zero LE came up as Halo 3 for $59.99.When I told them those were the wrong prices, that's when they told me the games were zeroed out and couldn't be sold.

Today I Picked up:

PSP - Ace Combat X - $4.00


Not the same as the $3.00 in the OP but then I'm not gonna complain considering this game gets like 20-30 bucks on ebay.

Once again this thread + sears employees too lazy to properly sticker games make my day.

I remember that mall from when I was going apeshit buying games and guides, back when I had the whole SlickDeals mentality going on. I was gonna Ebay the guides and make a ton. That never came to fruition though.

Good times, though, since my one friend was laid off at that time and she and I hit stores far and wide.

I don't remember the exit # offhand, but I think Wayne is right off of I-80, right?
 
Picked up PSU & alaskan Adventure for $3 each.

Still waiting for Bionicles & VT3s that aren't re-stickered to go from $8.97 to $2.97 before I bite.

Notice all the local Sears have all the GBA games in clearance, keep an eye out, some are still marked full price but I think this is the beginning of them pushing them out the door

I found a single copy of Clubhouse Games a couple of weeks ago... it rang up at 3.75 or so. I was ready to pay the $21 it was stickered at, so that was a very nice surprise! Atlanta area store.
 
Does anyone know if Final Fantasy V for the GBA has dropped yet, there are a few at my store and I would like to know, but they are in the glass case so I don't want to have to ask an employee to scan them.

I'm wondering the same thing. I don't think they've dropped yet but all the ones I've seen are still locked in the case.
 
Anyone have the Intec 4 in 1 charger for psp that's at $1.97?

I'm thinking of picking one up on ebay since they can be found pretty cheap there, but am a little worried about quality.
 
I found out that Elder Scrolls Shivering Isles and 1600 point card rang up at full price at my local Sears. I did find PDZ and Star Trek Legacy for 2.97 & 1.97, respectively.

My battery works but acts odd. It doesn't seem to hold the charge it should, and the PSP does not detect the remaining battery correctly. For example, it goes from 2 bars to sleep mode without warning. I still use it, but only as my secondary. These just be my problems, however.
 
There were quite a few new clearance items at my sears in the accessory department, some were really cheap, like the .97 cent pack of intec safe screens I picked up.
 
My store still has numerous copies of Burnout Revenge for full MSRP 29.99. This game was clearanced way back in March for 7.97. Even though individual stores have differing clearance schedules, shouldn't the clearance titles eventually drop in price at ALL stores??

I noticed at 2 locations where clearance games were plentiful a few months back, are now organized to the hilt.
This occurred after an inventory was conducted (I was at one store the morning after the all night event). All clearance games were stacked by the register...and then on my next visit these games were back to regular price...even some '05 sports titles...lol
It appears the inventories conducted at many locations threw a monkey wrench into the pricing of older clearance games...

Pretty nice day. The only thing was the 1600 MS Point Cards rang up $25.00? Aren't they supposed to be $19.99 retail?

I got the PDZ players hits version for that price too. I think it comes with free maps that the other versions do not...so maybe it wasn't "too bad" ? ;)

Yeah...not sure what's going on with those. Every Sears I've been to has them at $25.00, even though they're stickered $19.99.

Oh, and I hope you picked up Kameo for $2.97, it's a fun game and that's a hell of a bargain (I paid $4 at Kmart, and it's worth every penny...)

well being that i work in the eletronics section. my two cents is that sears corperate told the sears store i work at to get rid of the clearance items in the invetory.

there was alot, now just about 5 games are left in a hidden spot in the corner of the store where their are dvds.

idn why but im not saying anything only if someone asks
 
Forgot to mention this, but I got 2 copies of Rogue Galaxy (PS2) for $3.97 each a few weeks back. I saw two copies of Persona 3 as well, but they were still marked at $49.99.

In my experience, it seems to be somewhat regional. Out of my 4 Sears that are within about 20 miles, 3 had consistent clearance pricing as noted here. The one furthest away, had a few and one notable title, Capcom card fighters was still ringing up at $23.xx as of last week. Been that way for a couple months now.

Yeah, same with my local Sears (Lewisville, TX). It has Burnout Revenge PH and non-PH, both ring up at 29.99. They've had clearance prices on other titles... I picked up the Harmony 360 remote and Kameo there at their clearance prices.

I go back and check on Burnout occasionally, am amazed that it still hasn't dropped.
 
I actually came on here to ask why my Sears sold out of every clearance game, but still had at least 8 SNK Vs Capcom Cardfighters Clash for $3 still hanging around.

Then I remembered the glitched cartridges, no big deal, easy to get it replaced right? Now I see they ended the replacement program? $3 or not, Sears can keep the glitched carts.

Funny that this game got such a bad rap people don't even want it for $3!

I thought it would be awesome to grab it for $3 and get a replacement because I was always interested in the game. I emailed SNK seeing if there was still a hope that it could be replaced, so when they provide an answer I will let you all know what they say, because if it can be fixed it's worth it for $3.

Try telling that to the people who routinely clean out my local Sears/Target/Kmart stores and leave NOTHING for anyone else around here.

I had thought of flipping 3-5 copies of the SNK game to FYE @ $11 a pop(more for credit). I went there one day and they had TONS of them, came back early the next week and they were ALL LONG GONE.

Even funnier is the fact that the only game that SHOULD be cheap that was missed(Samurai Jack for PS2) is STILL full price and stuck in the case. I was a big fan of the series and despite the horrid reviews it got, I wanted to try it, but not @ $40.
 
Did a walk through of one of my Sears and saw a potential update. Plus it looked like they had cleaned up the cases and tagged everything.
