Be aware that not all Sears are alike, so prices are definitely YMMV.


List

• date = date posted or updated
• cp = current price
• opp = old posted price
• (oos) = out of system
  
• * = posted at different prices (more than twice, most are)

Colors

• white = current update
• dark gray = old (ie. out of stock items)

if the prices are not updated in over a month, it will be colored as dark gray.

notes:

• Don't turn this into your own trade list. Don't ask people if they want to trade X game for your Y game. PM is the best way to ask. Do your trading on the Sears Trade Thread.
• Print UPC-A barcodes if you're having a hard time getting someone to open the cases for you. If you need UPCs refer to Half.com (just type the name of the game) or to io's kmart clearance thread. Go to either UPCDatabase.com or Barcodesinc.com to generate a UPC A barcode.
  
• If you bring up a game and the employee scans it and does not show up in the system, it is most likely that the item has been pulled out of their inventory (most of us would call it 'out of system'). What this means is that the item must be returned to the manufacturer (so they were told anyways, but i don't believe it..). You can try to get them to sell it to you for the stickered price shown or maybe lower. It depends on the employee or manager.
• Some of you are confused as to why some games are priced and rung up at retail prices but its listed below as clearanced at their respective clearance prices. Heres a good example:
  • 100607 ... 01.97 ... 09.97 ... Dead or Alive 4 (Non PH) *
  • ^^^^^ notice how the last reported price was October 6, 2007. The Platinum Hits version was also on clearance since it shared the Regular version's barcode. But they put the price back up in retail a few months later. Hence you still see the game now as retail instead of clearance.

Fairly certain you got that backwards. The phone-style cards are newer, at least at other retailers like Wal-mart.

Yep, the newer cards are the ones that require activation at the register first. At least that's what I've heard

They've all been the ones in the plastic containers. Considering that most stores around me have it like that I'd assume they're the newer ones. Ah well, it's almost too good of a deal to be true so I'm not too upset.

When I picked up my 20 gig hd it was 24 dollars. That does seem to be an exceptionally YMMV item.

My local-area Sears have jack squat for stuff on sale. No 20gb hard drive and the 1600 point cards (they were in plastic cases) were $25. Not sure where you guys are getting such magical prices, but it's not here around the west side of Cleveland.

Yes, that's the price the last time I scanned one, too. Bullshit that they can charge more than the $19.99 msrp. So that's double-ed because they're ringing up more that $20, and also because they're not on clearance like they're supposed to be.

superman and eragon on all formats are still 19.99 @ my sears...I have no idea why these haven't been reduced.

PQ - Practical Intelligent Quotient for PSP - 9.97 (haven't seen this for less than 20 anywhere)

Capcom Classics GBA - 3.97

Passed on

King Kong DS for 4.97

Also Cake Mania for DS for 19.99, I think that retailed for 29.99 so possibly a good price.

No 20GB Hard drives in my area all they had in stock were the 120GB drives, !

This past weekend I found an open Gamecube sitting in the bottom of a Sears display case marked $9.98. It was their demo model. I don't expect it to be a great unit considering it's probably been running 12+ hours a day for the past five years, but it's in great shape (been sitting in a glass case), and works great so far. Hooked up a gameboy player to it and have been reliving my childhood the past few days.

It came with all the cords, the original manuals, and 2 controllers. The controllers were rather nasty to be honest, but they'll just end up as gamestop credit as I own enough wired controllers and wavebirds already.

All Sears around here are cleaned out, saw a ton of stuff in the bins for 19.99 with blue stickers and rang up @ that price.

What's the difference between a demo unit and a normal one? Hmmm...time to research.

There are less of them in the market. Collectors probably want them.

No it rang up $2.97 and labeled $19.99 I just took crap load of games to the front desk and asked to scan them for prices.

went to sears at pecanland mall monroe, la and this is what i found. clearanced games seemed to be scarce. i think i got the last copy of Kameo and Work Time fun, but there were a couple copies of Eragon there. Also found Viewtiful Joe 2 for $11.99.

Just got back from the sears at livingston mall in livingston,nj.

the prices werent as low as i had hoped so i didnt grab them but they had:
1600 pts card for 360 $25
dead or alive 3 $26
rumble roses $5.97 -- i grabbed this, for $6 its worth at least the jubblies factor....

They may be tearing it down and rebilding the dept. My Sears was like that for a week, but everything is back now.
