Be aware that not all Sears are alike, so prices are definitely YMMV.
List
  • date = date posted or updated
  • cp = current price
  • opp = old posted price
  • (oos) = out of system
  • * = posted at different prices (more than twice, most are)
Colors
  • white = current update
  • dark gray = old (ie. out of stock items)
if the prices are not updated in over a month, it will be colored as dark gray.

notes:
  • Don't turn this into your own trade list. Don't ask people if they want to trade X game for your Y game. PM is the best way to ask. Do your trading on the Sears Trade Thread.
  • Print UPC-A barcodes if you're having a hard time getting someone to open the cases for you. If you need UPCs refer to Half.com (just type the name of the game) or to io's kmart clearance thread. Go to either UPCDatabase.com or Barcodesinc.com to generate a UPC A barcode.
  • If you bring up a game and the employee scans it and does not show up in the system, it is most likely that the item has been pulled out of their inventory (most of us would call it 'out of system'). What this means is that the item must be returned to the manufacturer (so they were told anyways, but i don't believe it..). You can try to get them to sell it to you for the stickered price shown or maybe lower. It depends on the employee or manager.
  • Some of you are confused as to why some games are priced and rung up at retail prices but its listed below as clearanced at their respective clearance prices. Heres a good example:
    • 100607 ... 01.97 ... 09.97 ... Dead or Alive 4 (Non PH) *
    • ^^^^^ notice how the last reported price was October 6, 2007. The Platinum Hits version was also on clearance since it shared the Regular version's barcode. But they put the price back up in retail a few months later. Hence you still see the game now as retail instead of clearance.

Interesting price on KOTOR, because nearly a year ago I spotted it at SEARS for $1.97 on clearance. I already owned a copy so I left it there for someone to pick up, but I kinda wanted it just because it's such a great price. You know what I mean? Heh.

I checked my SEARS today, nothing. The Gamecubes were gone, and every game I brought up to be scanned rang up for over $20. MVP Baseball 2005 (Xbox) was $4.99 though, I already own it, but if anyone likes baseball it's well worth the five bones.

There are so many games and I dont know which titles are "hot" titles to trade,etc. but you have posted this several times and every Sears I go to I specificly look for this game:D

Some of those same jerks also have a registration on CAG, many under the same names, though I'm sure there's plenty who have a different name for each site.
 
Yeah I guess so, like the ones that register here just to post clearance lists on the other sites, or like that one with guy with the name stealfromcaggive2fw or something like that. As much as I hate to, I am a member of FW, basically because of the cash back program they have (and to give red to any deals they take from CAG)

FW and SD member here, for the good deals and cash back though. If I had to choose one I would always be a cheap ass gamer.

went sears in southcoast plaza and got baiten kaitos origins gc, eragon 360, kameo, arcade live unplugged 360 all for .97. they were in a box marked 1.00
Also got perfect dark zero for 2.97
 
Was trying to start a psp library in anticipation of this summer's red bundle. Greensburg PA Sears had a large rack of games for all systems, most rang up at $20

Grabbed Darkstalkers psp $5

Would gladly paypal for MGS: Portable Ops, Syphon Filter psp and the other $5 and under action titles.

Hit a Sears store south of where I live this afternoon with disappointing results:

SNK vs. Capcom (DS) - $29.99
DS Browser (DS) - $29.99
Eragon (360) - $3.97
 
Wow ran into a copy of Astro Boy(PS2) today and figured well if it rings up at $2.97 like it's posted here that it's worth a try.... lol the little bastard rang up $19.99 :bomb:

No wonder why it's still in circulation at that sears.
 
Got an extra Elite Beat Agents if anyone wants to trade something for it. I'm really only looking to trade it for Star Trek, PSU, or Superman but feel free to make offers before I trade it in to Blockbuster for $8.

Yep, they were all in the case so I had a salesperson pull them out and scan them. I bought Eragon and the browser. I know the browser was overpriced but it's the first one I've seen in my area in a long time and I wanted a copy for my collection.

Hell, if you really wanted it, even $30 is a good deal. I've seen used copies go for more than that. Too bad you couldn't get it cheaper, but still, at least your got yourself a brand spanking new copy.

Seems a waste to trade in good new games without even playing them. Next time try to leave at least 1 of those PDZ for a CAG who wants to play it. You didn't even try elite beat before trading in?

Yes, I tried it. I just don't play my DS enough for me to keep it. I haven't played my DS since I finished school. If another CAG wants PDZ, they should've gone to get it. It's been sitting there for what? 6 months at $3? The non-PH copy is up for trades if someone wants it before Saturday.

Yeah I was really hoping the browser would be clearance priced since they've been cleared out at most other stores and I've heard reports on here of CAGs finding it for prices like $12.97 at K-Mart and TRU.

I decided to bite because I've seen used copies for that $30+ on eBay and like you said, at least this way I'm getting a brand new copy.
 
the OP is updated. thanks to everyone who posted their finds. theres not much of a difference really, a few new additions to the list most notably the Halo 3 Limited Edition for $39.97.. i did posted that it was Extremely YMMV.

Has anyone actually found the xbox live 1600 point cards for 4 bucks? I know I've checked at like 3 sears and none have wrung up for less than the sticker price. Is there like a special version of the card or something?

I've tried the DS browser and it was discontinued for a reason. It's horrible. Ridiculously slow and quite cumbersome to use. Utterly worthless IMHO. Perhaps worth buying if it ever drops to $1.97 just to say you've got it, but perhaps not.

I have the DS Browser and while it isn't going to replace your laptop by any means, its not a bad way to check your email at the metro, specially if you can get it on the cheap.

You're scanning the card that's encased in the large plastic "container", right? I believe that's the one that supposed to be clearanced. I haven't been able to find any for quite some time.

Also, I found a 20G hard drive, but it rang up $19.xx.
 
shouldnt it be the older version of the point card? that looks like a phone card or gift card.. the newer point cards have the containers to protect it from being scratched off.

Man, I'm not sure now. There was some discussion of it in this thread a few weeks ago, but I don't know which post #'s they were.

Can anyone else confirm which card is clearanced?
