Be aware that not all Sears are alike, so prices are definitely YMMV.
List
  • date = date posted or updated
  • cp = current price
  • opp = old posted price
  • (oos) = out of system
  • * = posted at different prices (more than twice, most are)
Colors
  • white = current update
  • dark gray = old (ie. out of stock items)
if the prices are not updated in over a month, it will be colored as dark gray.

notes:
  • Don't turn this into your own trade list. Don't ask people if they want to trade X game for your Y game. PM is the best way to ask. Do your trading on the Sears Trade Thread.
  • Print UPC-A barcodes if you're having a hard time getting someone to open the cases for you. If you need UPCs refer to Half.com (just type the name of the game) or to io's kmart clearance thread. Go to either UPCDatabase.com or Barcodesinc.com to generate a UPC A barcode.
  • If you bring up a game and the employee scans it and does not show up in the system, it is most likely that the item has been pulled out of their inventory (most of us would call it 'out of system'). What this means is that the item must be returned to the manufacturer (so they were told anyways, but i don't believe it..). You can try to get them to sell it to you for the stickered price shown or maybe lower. It depends on the employee or manager.
  • Some of you are confused as to why some games are priced and rung up at retail prices but its listed below as clearanced at their respective clearance prices. Heres a good example:
    • 100607 ... 01.97 ... 09.97 ... Dead or Alive 4 (Non PH) *
    • ^^^^^ notice how the last reported price was October 6, 2007. The Platinum Hits version was also on clearance since it shared the Regular version's barcode. But they put the price back up in retail a few months later. Hence you still see the game now as retail instead of clearance.

Nice Tenchu was 15 bucks last month when i picked up Gundam so ill be ging to get this now. And maybe Armored Core too

I price adjusted 2 copies of Formula 1 that I bought on 1/15 from 19.97 to 4.97. I did not bring in the games. I think price adjusting may be YMMV, keep trying.

Son of a bitch! Sears has removed the listing for Warhawk on their site and I completely forget how the hell to do Google Cache or if it's even available for old listings on sites other than Best Buy.

I want to check the stock locator for the other store by me to make sure someone didn't nab the three Warhawk bundles that were there just TWO days ago, since if they finally dropped it to $9.97(was $16.97 the other day when I was there) I'll pick up a copy to play and then hopefully price adjust next month once it drops further.

Sorry if there were a few repeats in there. I think you guys caught 'em all before I got a chance to post.

If you're looking to save a little more through the end of today, I believe all stores are doing a credit promotion where if you use or apply for a sears card, you can save an additional 10% on your purchase. You don't even have to get APPROVED for the card if you apply for a new one - you'll still get a coupon for 10% off electronics and a lot of other stuff. If you do get approved, I'm pretty sure they'll make you/want you to use the card on todays purchases. They're only supposed to give you the coupon when you're declined (the reduction happens automatically at the point-of-sale if you use Sears credit). Also, you always get a $10 statement credit OR six months no interest financing on your first day's purchases with a NEW Sears card, or a $15 statement credit with a Sears Mastercard (and your local employees will probably appreciate you helping them meet their credit goals, :p)

(I feel like a bastard for inadvertantly promoting Sears credit on here, but it's all in the interest of saving a buck)

Good luck finding what you want from this month's drops (and keep an eye out for Picross DS for me - I really want it). I'll post a list of how much of a bastard I am tonight when I'm done buying out my clearance section.

thanks dreWii. it really doesnt matter if they are repeats. it keeps the current prices for these clearanced games upto date. which is what we all need.

Just like in the Kmart thread, I vote against keeping the OP updated, since it makes it too easy for those who are just out to grab every damn thing.

Of course, when you go in and buy something and an employee sees the price, they might be the one to start scanning everything and clean the store(s) out.

That's what happened to me today. I picked up a Warhawk bundle(may be selling the mic, since I prefer the USB one I have)and I figured I'd go back and grab a second one for my TL or to sell to the one local shop for hopefully $20 to cover both copies.

Wouldn't you know that as soon as I left to go out to my car, one of the fuckin' employees grabbed the other two and stashed them or bought them.

Unfuckinbelievable! Then again, I guess that's about the only perk for working in retail hell.
 
Picked up two PS2 Singstar Country Bundles (14.97), Dragon Quests Monster Joker (4.97), GBA Emerald Version (4.97), GBA Red Rescue Team (9.97 - NEED TO RETURN), and Battalion Wars 2 Wii (4.97).

You just have to scour the site, see if the game you're looking for is listed, then do the 'in store pickup' thing, enter your zip code and the stock locator will tell you if it's in stock and where around you.

It seems pretty accurate, since once the Singstar bundles sold out around here the locator showed up as "NOT IN STOCK" for the three Sears stores around here.

Apparently the sears thread is where all the NE Ohio CAGs are to be found.

The Chapel Hill Sears is so bad I dont even bother checking when I'm out there anymore. I have never found anything there.

I tend to stick around Parma / Strongsville since I work up in that area... But havent been to any of those Sears -- if anyone here has post and let me know if you've cleaned them out so I can save the trip.

You're quite welcome. That's how I found out the other copies of Singstar by me had been grabbed after I got my one copy. I only bought it to take to a New Year's party I was invited to with my gf this year, but unfortunately it was a 'family' type party with lotsa kids there and my luck with kids and my expensive electronics isn't good(buddies one niece tripped over the one wire for my one PS2 and it never worked right after that).

So, I opted to keep the system at home and sold the bundle to a local shop for $15 after getting them to adjust the price to the $1.97 final price in the system.
 
First store i went to was a complete bust. nearly all the $4.97 games were still ringing up as $29.99 (yes, .99 not .97).

At another store i picked up another Final Fantasy VI, some Def Jam Icons, Viewtiful Joe 2, PotC, Bullet Witch, and Turok.
 
My local sears had a couple of singstar and gba games I wanted to check but their locked in the glass case and some idiot broke the only key in the store
 
In addition to the games already mentioned, I saw

GBA Shaman King: Legacy of the Spirits, Soaring Hawk for $4.97
PS2 DDR SuperNova (game only) for $4.97

Everything was clearly marked (unusual for my Sears) and they even had a big clearance sign that read "Games as low as 0.97!" Well, nuts. Now the other 10 people who shop at Sears know my secret ...
 
Picked up Eternal Sonata (360) and Armored Core 4 (PS3) for $4.97 a pop at the Yonkers, NY Sears. *gasp*

I was surprised they actually had those two games inside the glass case mixed in with the recent releases. I did not spot any other of the clearance games though.

Beat me, at least you left a few for me though. No one needs to bother with Leominster, Ma Sears or Natick, Ma Sears they're pretty much done. I left a couple for other people but employees were onto them.

All NE Ohio CAGs: I have been to every store in the area between canton and erie in the last three days. I'm still out now headed ti elyria. Send me a pm with what store you want info on or what game and I'll give you some info when I get home
 
Turok 360 scanned $19.97 for me and Metroid Prime Hunters scanned $16.97. Both were OOS anyway but I guess it is still YMMV (seemed like prices were more standard at all stores now).
