PriceGrabber $5 Rebate Topic w/ Lists Of Eligible Games (Updated 3/2)

I just fired off a message to PG via the support link on their site (I don't trust emailing either of those addresses) inquiring about which address I should mail to, since my rebates show the old address.

I'll post the response once I receive a reply, hopefully by Thursday...

I just checked my email, and lo and behold, I have five emails from Pricegrabber saying my submissions were received.

I go to check them on the old site, and guess what? They're the old ones from December I /just/ emailed them about over the weekend, and forwarded the email to the "old" rebate group. :wall: :wall:

They just magically appeared out of nowhere, showing the date of receipt of 02/07/08. :wall: :wall: :wall:

Answers my question of where they're at, just no fucking clue where they've been for almost eight weeks.
 
Shrike, all my December ones showed up a few days ago on the old site with rec'd dates of Feb 7th as well. Difference is I have yet to get any email confirmation about any of them.

You can just re-download them again and they will show the new address with the original request dates ;)

However, you won't be able to re-download those that have expired or met the request limit.

That was my intent up until yesterday when Shrike had problems, but they've been resolved.

Okay, good news: the part number listed on the new status site is on the form, so it will be possible to match them up to find out what has been received.

Also, a third rebate from December has showed up on the old site received 2/21. I didn't email them about it, so it looks like their whole operation is just in disarray. Hopefully my remaining 2 December submissions will pop up soon.

Now they just need to approve two October, 5 November, 5 December and 5 January submissions.
 
I guess I'm still the charmed one. All of my rebates left over from the "old" site have been check approved (Oct, Nov and Dec).

My Jan/Feb on the "new" site have all been received and have tentative mail dates.
 
I got 5, but there's still a gap. I also got an email for the 3rd of 5 January rebates (this one showed up as received 2/21, efficient email system they have there). Guess I'll have to put in an inquiry about my other two.
 
got 3 more today. Thats the last of what im expecting to get from them. Maybe ill try resubmitting the ones they supposedly lost a while ago, but might be too late since that was more than a month ago.

Got the remainder of the rebate checks today. And then some.

Received five PG rebates today, in addition to the two I cashed and cleared already. I'll chalk it up to compensation for waiting for so damn long for these Sept 07 rebates. Due to their mishap, 5 reviews turned into 7 checks; all checks are unique. I'm cashing these ASAP.
 
Well, I got screwed by Web-rebates and Rebatestatus on the December and January rebates. Even though I received confirmation e-mails about the December rebates, but it never showed up on the website and even after e-mailing Pricegrabber, I got to resubmit the December ones. Rebatestatus never seemed to receive my rebates, so I already called Rebatestatus. Rebatestatus CSR took care of it fairly quick, but have to wait and see.

Not to be paranoid or anything, but how long should the Feburary rebates show upon searching? How long after submission did the January one showed up? I never receive any confirmation nor found the entries on site, so when did you guys' showed up? I will be away from my normal environment for a little bit, so just wanted to know if I should take copies of documents with me.

Yay, my last 2 December submissions finally showed up on the site (with the same 2/21 received date as the one that popped up two weeks ago). One claims no UPC, of course.

Might have to start submitting rebates with my new house address... not sure I want to rely on mail forwarding for checks, but I also hesitate to use a new address when theoretically something could screw up closing on our house between now and the end of April. But I guess if that were to happen I'd have a lot more to worry about besides a few bucks in rebates.

Under the new system, my stuff showed up an average 2-3 weeks (I'm in CA). Certainly quicker than the old site which typically took a month or more.

Good to know. Thank you for answering my questions. Have to wait and see if February rebates will show up this time.

Edit: Finally, February submission shows up on Rebatestatus...what a relief.
 
if someone could shed some insight on my situation it would be much appreciated. sent 5 rebates in january. 5 showed up on the website as date received 2/7. viewing one of them shows an old rebate that i already got the check for. im assuming the info is just wrong, but wondering if i should email them and let me know that last rebate should be for something else. i don't want them cheating me the $5 thinking they already sent the check.
 
for my last submissions the postmark date passed, I just changed the requsted and postmark date on microsoft word and no problems when it was received, just a heads up!
 
I just got 3 of my December submissions today, other 2 are still processing, as well as 10 from Jan and February

The mail date for the January submissions is 4/2

Wow, that's a tough one. I hope they don't start doing this too much. How did this work, exactly? Did it show up on the rebatestatus with an error or did you get an email? I was wondering about that because they don't seem to have a mechanism for that like the other site does.

Edit: I just looked at mine and I guess there is a "status" though mine are blank as they are all still processing...

I have a feeling it got flagged because I actually wrote "mechanics" even though all I was saying was the mechanics were largely unchanged from the previous game.
 
The new rebate center (Phoenix address) has a toll-free number 877-265-3108 if you have problems with your rebate.
 
Has any received any 08 rebates back yet, as in rebates that were sent in in 2008? I sent some to the new address about a month and a half ago and they still haven't shown up online.

Sorry to be the one to tell you this, but it's gone already. You had about 2 days there to grab it. They only hand out 25 now (used to be 50) - we'll see if all 25 reviews come back or, as usual, about half were taken by deadbeats who never do the reviews. In the future, grab the form FIRST and then you have 3 months to write the review/submit the form.

My February rebates, sent 2/29, are already online in the processing stage. I sent to the new address.
 
One of my rebates completed 3/5 steps but I forgot to make a review will they still process it?

it says something like:

Our records indicate that you did not submit an online review

I hope moving to the new site will alleviate a lot of their processing issues, but I somehow doubt it. 1 of my 5 from December (received 2/21) claims no UPC, time for more emails. 5 from January and 4 from February (had to bail on one, no receipt :whistle2:() are all processing on the new site.
 
Mailed mine out 2/29 to El Paso and also waiting. I'm going to hold off contacting them since it has always taken more than a month to show up. Besides that, the address change to AZ might also be delaying things. Who knows.

They are slow as molasses. I have several rebates stuck in the mandatory waiting stage before they cut the check from I think January or Dec.
