PriceGrabber $5 Rebate Topic w/ Lists Of Eligible Games (Updated 3/2)

In the terms it says:

[FONT=Verdana,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif]Does not apply towards refurbished, open box, white box, OEM and generic items.

What do the ones underlined mean, and does that mean it applies to used copies since it doesn't say used items?

PLEASE - That's like only 3 weeks! I'm still waiting for stuff from November to show up. Don't even bother contacting them till the 6-8 weeks has passed as that is all they will tell you.

I had stuff in November that they told me they received and it should be "up shortly". I waited 2 more months and contacted them again and they said I should resubmit. So clearly they didn't do what they said they did (ie, check for my submissions) the first time.

Not for me yet. Everything I've submitted through Dec has been cashed. My Jan, Feb and Mar are still processing at the new site.
 
2 of my 5 December ones, which didn't show up on the site until February finally moved out of the second step (processing) just last week. Well, surprise, surprise - 2 of the 5 came back as "Error: Limit five rebates per month per person" :roll:. The other 3 are just now into the "Required Service Period" so I guess I'll get checks for those in June or something.

I contacted them and they claim to have fixed the two, though of course it takes another 3-4 weeks for anything to show in the rebate search. Meanwhile I can look forward to 2 post cards telling me I can't send in more than 5 rebates per month in the envelopes where I mail exactly 5 rebates every month.
 
Anyone else notice that the mailing of the rebate forms works now? I haven't found anything recently that I wanted rebates on until last night, and when I asked for rebates, magically the rebates re-appeared in my Inbox.

Must be all that work I did to fix the problem earlier when they told me it was on my end that made it all work. :rofl:

As if. I knew the problem was all on their end.

Shrike, I started getting them again a few weeks ago too. But it was right after I contacted them about a form I was missing and reminded them again of the fact that I wasn't getting them emailed to me any more (since Oct or so). They said they had no record of me requesting the form (which is no longer available so I can't redownload it) so I was out of luck on that one. But the very next form I requested got emailed to me for the first time since Oct. Maybe it was just coincidence though :lol:.
 
man the rebate system is kind of messed up, I send 5 rebates last week and they only receive 3 .. I got one rebate check that they send to the wrong address and one submission that was submitted online that still not shown online....
 
1 was missing from my submission even though they were in the same envelope. resubmitted that almost a month ago and it still hasn't shown up on the site. also, sent out another 5 3 weeks ago and i still have status on those. man they take a long time.
 
alright I tried to download a rebate form for Devil May Cry 4 on PS3, under the sections with Part Number there is a blank, would there be any problems when trying to submit this form for a rebate?
 
 
i decided id try this out again - had a couple rebates that expire the end of the month.
Went through the receipts of some random games ive bought recently at Kmart and requested about 10 more rebates.
 
Just grabbed a Lost Odyssey bonus.

I forgot to write a review for Scene-It, and they sent a postcard reminding me to do so. Just sent that back in today.

I should have kept better records, because I'm thinking some of mine were also lost. Live and learn, I suppose.

can anyone answer my question reguarding the part number?
 
Well, the part number is the UPC. I suppose worst case they'll tell you you're "missing" a UPC, and you'll have to deal with them over the phone. Are there multiple listings for DMC4 PS3? Also consider checking the form link again to see if it's been updated and you can print it out from there.

Still gotta follow up on a missing UPC, but two of my four December submissions (last ones on the old site) were approved a few days ago, the other two weren't received till a week or two later.

Edit: I think that was the quickest resolution ever. I'm guessing they don't even care. UPC validated, rebate approved.
 
New rebate handler is kind of disappointing. Jan-March have shown up but they're still "in process", no mail date yet. Been 3 months now for the Jan batch.
 
I have a feeling a lot of rebates are gonna get hosed up due to my move next month.

I have two remaining on the old site, in addition to one that has been resubmitted (should show up on the new site). But rejoice! for my 5 rebates from... who knows what month, December or January, whenever they started showing up on the new site, have mailed as of April 17. The other 4 on the new site have an estimated ship date of June 18.

Edit: The April 17 mailing is for rebates submitted on 1/31. The four pending for June 18 are February.
 
wow - just got my first time rejection of a review. For Metal Gear Collection. Said it need to go into further detail...do they really expect me to talk about each game?(And do i ever play a game before writing a review on PG in the first place?)

It appears you got some decent materials in your review. I've seen worse reviews that were practically 2 lines long.

I had one more slot saved for April (well, July, really) just in case this happened. I wouldn't wait till Thursday to get it if you have the space.

Guess it's also that time of the month to get everything printed/copied/packed up and mailed.

Thanks for Mario Kart. I'm still bitter about my missing submissions from Dec. to March though :whistle2:(

Edit: Okay, nevermind. Just saw that new link for submissions after Jan 08.
 
Got the Mario Kart rebate, thanks io. Also got a nice $10 rebate for the fridge we're going to get for the new house. Every little bit helps!

Only one rebate remaining to be requested in my queue for May. About damn time.

Was it less than 30 words? I believe it has to be 30 words.
 
crap, missed MK Wii because I didn't have any open slots.

I finally received a set of 2008 rebates (Feb submittal). Jan (mailed 4/28) and March (exp. 6/18) are still outstanding but are posted on the site. April hasn't made the site yet but it's only been a couple weeks since I mailed them.
 
new submission place doesnt seem to be any better than the last. Sent forms in a couple weeks ago and nothing on site yet.

maybe i missed this change earlier, but looks like the forms now only say the first 25 requests for a rebate will be available instead of the old 50.



Also, just checked the rebate status page and looks like 4 of my 5 submissions from april are on there. The one missing is the MGS Collection that they had a problem with the review for.

Two things I had trouble with.

I only found them by typing in my home address, not my work address. However, the work address is what I put on the form. I assume its because I was already in their system for a Home Depot rebate with home address is why that happened.
2nd thing is that the anticipated mailing date for the rebate check says july 08. BOO!
 
My April ones still haven't shown up on the new site. And I don't like that they don't email you any more when they are received/processed/mailed. I got some emails but it was about some that were still left over on the old site. I haven't gotten any rejected reviews - they just seem to be ignoring my submissions completely!
 
Don't worry, io, they still haven't posted my March rebates.

I have four pending with a June mail date, one with an error that they won't tell me so I can't fix, and then ten awaiting receipt.

Pretty frustrating, actually, since they still haven't acknowledged my April submissions!

In other news, I got 3 of the old style checks the other day. I'll have to review what month those are from - Nov or Dec I think!
