I called and after jumping though all the automated system hoops (first it kicked me out because I said it hadn't been 8 weeks yet), I got no help whatsoever from the person I talked to. She looked up and found some "April" ones but those were really my March submissions. She said until they are processed externally by some other site they don't even show up in their system and she said I need to give it 8 weeks or so before checking. She wasn't able to look them up by rebate number either - she just had the huge list of rebates and what dates they were processed, which is fairly useless as those dates don't correlate at all with when I sent them in.

The problem with the 8 weeks thing is that how long it should take to get your check - I'm not concerned with that, I just want them to be in the system but she said she has no way to check for that.

Note that I called the 877 number on the rebate forms. Did you call a different number?

I just went back to the site and filled out the "Contact Us" form. We'll see if that gets me anywhere.

If you are yakkotank, apparently. If you read what I just posted above you'll see they said they could do nothing (for me) if they aren't in the system. The problem is that they aren't in the system - so what they hell do you do about that?

But then I'm waiting to see if he can verify which number he called. I called the rebate status place (the number listed on the form) - they might be fairly helpless. It could be he called Pricegrabber directly.

Maybe I'm just especially charming. :)

I called this number: 877-265-3108.

Instead of dealing with the automated stuff, I just kept mashing 0 and # until I got to a CS rep. I told her the site showed my May submissions but not my April ones. She asked for my phone number, looked me up, and then I gave her the part numbers and promo numbers and she entered them in manually. She told me they'd show up on the site within 72 hours.

And I was expecting to have to fax copies in or some such - quite a pleasant surprise!

That would be the number I called. I got someone named Dani or something. She told me they couldn't look things up by promo number and it takes at least 8 weeks for things to show up and they can't do anything about it anyway and they are processed at another site and well, several more excuses... I guess if my May ones show up then I can hammer them about my April ones. The other problem was my March ones show as being processed in April so I had a hard time convincing her my April ones didn't show up. Plus she started right off the bat saying "there are a lot of them" so I don't think she was too keen on helping me get more :lol:. I have 16 showing up on the search - ought to be 20. Though all 5 from April are missing so I don't know what that 16th one is. Basically it came down to her being a less helpful and less efficient way of looking at the same rebate search page I can look at myself (all she did was read me stuff from there).
 
My February rebates mailed out on the 29th, still nothing for March or April. Hopefully they aren't annoyed that I haven't actually been getting my rebates out till the middle of the week after the end of the month with a PayPal label dated the correct day. :lol: Hopefully I can get May mailed out tomorrow, whoops!

Probably have to contact them about the last two months and find out why one of my Feb submissions was denied. So much for receiving the reason in the mail.
 
Well... Not sure what to think. After calling got me nowhere I used the "Contact Us About a Rebate" link on the new search page and asked about my 5 April submissions via that on Saturday. On Sunday all of a sudden my 5 from April showed up on the rebate search. It took till today for them to actually show which games they are for (at first it was just a generic PG promo number) and it seems they really are the April ones. Probably just a coincidence but those having trouble may want to try that contact page in any case.

In the last few days I got three December rebate payments and 2 January rebate payments ;). The first two were the old-style post cards and the second ones were Customer Service resubmit pink tear-away checks.

I tried the contact us page and they just replied and said to call.

Interesting - they never responded in any way via email to my request. They either just fixed my problem or ignored it (and the rebates happened to post by coincidence the next day).

I found calling to be useless as they simply regurgitate the same info you see on the rebate search page. You might try the Pricegrabber contact link under "Your Account" (access PG via CAG).
 
man I called and they told me that i have repeated submission. I was WTF . An elder woman answered my call and i think she was annoyed. She said I have repeated submissions and they could do anything because of the last 5 digits of the barcode is repeated. I was like WTF since all my last year submission also had the same last 5 digits.... any help?
 
I think the second barcode/number is actually YOUR user id. The first barcode is the product id.

Call them again and hopefully you will get another, more helpful CSR.

It is. I just went to Pricegrabber.com and pulled down the rebate form for Naruto: ROAN. This was the number on the form:

43369749-xxxxxx

The first number is the offer number for that promotion, which is linked to Naruto: ROAN. The other number is your ID number on the PG site, and that's what your reviews are linked to.
 
Update: Forgot that I did have some submissions on the new site from my old address, which is the list I kept going back to from my browser history. Submissions for my new address are up (mostly) - 5 for March that were mailed out with the Feb rebates on the 29th, and 4 of my 5 for April. I'll have to double check that I actually sent out the fifth and contact them if necessary.

No. As long as the rebate form is still available and you have the receipt and UPC barcode, you qualify. It doesn't matter if you got the rebate form before buying the product or if you bought the product and get the form later on.

I had nine rebate checks show up in the mail, so I think that should be March and April. May appears to have been done, with check mailing dates in July.

There's one that's outstanding, so I shot them an email from their online form, and I'll see what they say about that one.

I had several that didn't show up - the response from the online form: resubmit via fax :bomb:. Though, actually, now that I think about it, I submitted a query both via the rebatestatus form and the old PG contact form. I believe it was the PG contact form people that replied while rebatestatus ignored me. Basically, if they don't have the rebates they can't help you. You have to go "above" them directly to PG to have anything done about it.

Oh, and no May showing up yet either - too early to ask about those though.

Oh, and no May showing up yet either - too early to ask about those though.[/quote]I took the two-pronged approach, and filed an inquiry on the rebatstatus.com website's form, as well as emailing PG on their [email protected] email address. We'll see which helps out first.

From what I've seen, there's only five rebates that are pending on check mailings, and that has to be for May. The five don't include the one from January 2008 that is outstanding, which I did the emails above in regards to.

My May showed up last week. However, I normally submit in the middle of the month vs. the end of the month as most do here.
 
sigh. time to send some emails. I have a couple from Jan (a $10 one for my laptop no less) and a few from March that aren't on either tracking site.

For people that have had to resubmit: It doesn't count toward your 5 for the month, does it?

EDIT: Seems the few I'm missing would all have been sent in around the time of the address change. Strange thing is, 2/5 of them from that batch showed up. Problem is, these were sent around Dec or January. Is it too late to get it fixed?
 
2 of my 5 May submissions showed up online. I sent all 5 of them in the same envelope and only 2 showed up?! How could they missed the rest if they were in the same envelope?!

You can probably still get them fixed, but just beware they may give you grief over it. They responded to me saying they would process the 6 I had to resubmit but 2 of them were from January and they said in the future I only have 90 days from submission to contact them. That kind of sucks because they are so slow to put them up and if you try asking within 8 weeks they tell you it hasn't been long enough yet to do anything about it. So I guess you have to contact them in that 8-12 week window :roll:.

Also, no, the resubmit shouldn't count against your current submissions, though with the rebate processing people being different from the PG people who knows - YMMV I suspect. My "reprocessed" ones have yet to show up and I'm about to send 5 in for June.

since Early April my submissions have not show up, should I be worried? I tried to contact them via e-mail giving the bonus offer number for each rebates, and they replied with giving me a customer service number.....

Is it 5 rebates per literal 30 days, or 5 per month (as in, 5 for July, 5 for Aug, etc.)?

Before rebatestatus.com was doing it, I've submitted 5 rebates twice in less than 30 days and had them go through without issue. Not sure how they'd be handling it now.

Most of the CAGs that do PG rebates seem to do them at the end of the month, so it ends up being a semi-moot point.
 
Hooray, all of my May submissions were received for once.

Had to request new checks for the last rebates that were sent to my old address (probably March?), apparently the post office lost them. Makes me optimistic about other mail they're not forwarding.
 
It seems like the website has been updated recently and lots of rebates have disappeared (most likely taken off site rather than having reached the 25 limit).

Oh no, and just when I was holding back on requesting new ones to take a bit of a break :bomb:. I knew I shouldn't have done that... Well, I better check on stuff then.

Also, FOUR of my FIVE sent in the same envelope in June finally showed up #-o.
They sure don't like to make it easy, do they?
