PriceGrabber $5 Rebate Topic w/ Lists Of Eligible Games (Updated 3/2)

Yay! And THERE THEY ARE! All 5 there, no errors. Whoo-hoo... But boy did they drag out the DB update this month. They were not on there Saturday (Jan. 27th). I just checked at midnight Sunday and they are there. So while they showed up very late on the 28th, they are marked as received on the 9th!

Oh well, at least they are there. I have 5 more to do this month, and then I'm starting to run out - none for Feb, 3 for March, 3 for April...

No comments from the rest of you guys?? We all probably showed up at the same time and I'm curious if that's the case! Let us know!

Also, a friendly reminder to get any Jan submissions in soon!

No comments because you're all alone, io. ;) My boatload of September C/S resubmits are still sitting atop the list of rebates for me.

The rebates I submitted on 1/9 just showed up yesterday. You are not alone!

All five of them that I've submitted in Dec with Dec postmarks are up there, in two groups, as I mailed them in two groups.

Mailed off three sets this time, two in middle Jan, two a few days ago, and one this morning. The ones from middle Jan haven't shown up yet.

Bah, you guys suck. Guess I'll have to get on the horn with them. I swear I've had more problems since I started throwing them in one manila envelope instead of separate envelopes.

It worked out in my favor last time though as I ended up getting two rebates for three or four games.

Looks like I only have 5 to get out this month, then I'm all done. And by this month... I guess I mean tomorrow. Crap. Good thing I finally got a copier at home.

I've always sent mine in individual envelopes and seem to have missed the issues with the mass-shipment submissions seem to run into.

And I've had a few double-redemptions on some rebates, once I had an issue with slow submissions.

I have been sending mine in groups of 5 in a manilla envelope for at least a year, and haven't had any issues until the very late ones back in October when I sent them to the old address (but they eventually showed up after I submitted second copies of course).

I just sent 5 more today, and got home to see the 5 emails about my Dec. set.

Wierd that people are seeing different dates for "received". Usually they process them all at once and put up the same date for everyone (mine was 1/9). Obviously, they actually received them much earlier than that.

After this, I actually have none for Feb, then 3 in March and 3 in April. I was hoping to grab a ton of 360 rebates since I'll be picking one up soon but most of those are gone (with, of course, only 12 or so out of a possible 50 reviews - damn slackers!).

Prepared all my submissions, just need to get it to the PO and mail it. I wish they'd let you put DC on envelopes (apparently they have to be 3/4" thick) so I could actually see where/when this got received, but oh well.

Put some crumpled up newpaper in the evelope to make it thick enough to use DC. I might be wrong but I think this 3/4 rule only applies to media mail.
Put some crumpled up newpaper in the evelope to make it thick enough to use DC. I might be wrong but I think this 3/4 rule only applies to media mail.
Well, they never let me do it if I ask at the PO, and online in the explanation for DC, it mentions First Class has to be 3/4" thick. I'm sure if I just printed a label from PayPal it would probably work, but God knows what the PO would do.

Judging by one of my eBay shipments that went Priority with DC and was never scanned, that's what would likely come of it if I tried in this case. ;)

I tried to mail one of my first envelopes to them with DC and was denied at the PO. I just figured from then on it wasn't worth the trouble. If, for some reason, they don't get them they are pretty good about letting you resubmit, even if they have expired. I mean, even with DC, what does that prove other than that you sent something to their zip code? If they still don't have them (for whatever reason - most likely lost in their processing chain and not the in the mail) you would *still* have to resubmit.

Well, they just showed up today, received 1/26. Wow.

New issue as well. They managed to list 5 submissions, but two of them are the same, and are flagged as "Limit one rebate per bonus." I'm pretty sure I didn't print a second Starfox Command form instead of a Mario Hoops form. Hopefully it shouldn't be a big issue since the receipt and UPC would be from Mario Hoops.

I had the same problems with different games! It's getting really annoying but I'm too lazy to actually go and do something I guess. I also wish they put up a bonus for Wii games :)
Just received emails about the batch of five submitted in December that checks are being processed and mailed.
Ditto - but also got emails for my November ones too. So I'll be getting 9 checks all at once (the 10th was the one that was deemed "inappropriate" which they then fixed with a CS resubmit - got the check for that a month ago).
has anyone got a rebate for a printed online receipt as i can't find one for an amazon purchase
Yes, I used printed receipts from internet retailers all the time - no problem getting my rebates.

Got the notice that 4 of the 5 from December will be mailed shortly, been too lazy to scan my Mario Hoops submission to get that fixed up.
Bunch of rebates for PS3/Wii/360 were added
Thanks, man!

Zelda TP for the Wii

Get it while you can! It never fails that right after I download a bunch of older ones (that aren't going anywhere) they come out with new ones. At least I had a few spots left for Zelda and WarioWare.
Now if only the bonus forms opened up.
Eh? I just got a few with no problem.
Eh? I just got a few with no problem.
None of the forms are opening up... pop-up is there, and it loads for half a second, and then blank page. In IE and Firefox. Apparently my computer no longer likes PHP. Meh. Hopefully my six games will still be there tomorrow when I get to work.

Now up for grabs:

:360:
lost Planet
gears of war
rainbow six vegas
need for speed carbon
viva pinata
F.E.A.R.

:Wii:
warioware
zelda TP
rayman

:ds:
edit: not new but still available: clubhouse games

Finally working... snagged 6 for Wii games. I'll hold out another month for Excite Truck and WarioWare since I don't plan on getting those just yet, hopefully they don't disappear.

Just a note - Clubhouse Games is not new. It showed up last November or so. I'm very surprised it is still available actually. I think I've already been paid for that one.

I might have to grab Viva Pinata even though I don't have a 360 yet. I'd like to wait until March, but I don't know if it will stick around that long...

In other news, my PG checks showed up yesterday. Woot.

I have an error on one of the Product reviews I submitted for January. It says: "Product review was unacceptable".

The review was for a Game Boy Advance game, SNOOD. I posted a review but it does not show up under reader reviews for that game. But when I go to my account and view all product reviews that I have posted, the Snood review is listed and I can edit it.

Has this ever happened to anyone else? I sent an email to Pricegrabber to see if they can fix it.

I'd email them for clarification of what made your review unacceptable, and fix it.

I'm assuming that since the review does not show up under the product, the rebate people think I didn't write one and so denied the rebate. The review itself is pretty basic and doesn't use any foul language.

There's a bunch of new PSP stuff too. DAMMIT! Why did I have to fill half my available slots with the clearance 360 games I picked up last week? I just did that a few days ago. Had I know about these I would have held off. Hopefully they won't all get taken by March 1st.

Well, I'm in for four this month, and one more out of the ones I requested that I haven't bought yet for the fifth one.

The next few months, we'll have to see what happens.

Hotel Dusk was a nice surprise, since I bought it from Newegg.com with the $15 off Paypal rebate, so getting it net for $12.98 will be nice. :D

Yoshi's Island and EBA are also available for DS. Snagged another 6 DS game rebates to get my quota of 15 for the next 3 months. Looks like I'll have to wait a couple weeks to pick up some more.

A $5 bonus is now available for the Xbox 360 version of Fight Night Round 3, bringing the game to $20 if you happened to score a new copy for $25.

They'ree adding stuff as we speak. I was printing rebates this morning and MG Portable OPS didn't have a rerbate. It does now.

Another newly added is Final Fantsay XII
