Don't know if anyone saw but I'm not really complaining cause I got both my releases. Just saying not everyone is actually guaranteed a chance.

Also prototype is just for ps4. Some vita people are getting signed copies of b&c, if you didn't have it in your order history

Also, gonna predict this now. Bloodstained will end up being kickstarter exclusive for vita physically

Yep. At least I won't miss it now and have to pay crazy reseller prices down the road.

edit: and yes, they opened the backer kit to me. The CE seems cool, but i can't drop the 150 on it. I'm just trying to get a complete vita library, so this is perfect for me.
Yea, looks like they emailed me as well. I'm just going with the $80 version of this one as well. I have over 75 Physical Vita games and I'm not sure if I'm going for a full set, but definitely want all the hard to find titles in my collection. For some reason, I had thought it was getting a physical release outside of Kickstarter. Really glad I asked in here.

Question from people who buy used Vita games from Gohastings...

I just bought a used Persona 4 when I had a coupon for 30 percent off... however, when I got it, it looks completely new???

Does hastings reseal old vita games professionally?

Is there a way for me to tell?

I've gotten a several Y-Fold sealed Vita games in lieu of used from GoHastings as well. I've been quite pleased overall with my orders from them in the past several months.

Just got an email that my order for the $16 P4:DAN from Newegg was canceled FYI. Some BS about it being part of a damaged shipment.

Unlike other used stores, Hastings takes in sealed games, so you may get those fairly often from them.

Obviously they can't sell them new if they're traded in, but the good thing for us is that we get it used. ^__^

Same. Would've been better if they told me their shipment was abducted by aliens.

What does Y-Fold sealed Vita games mean?
New, not resealed
That's not always a great indicator though as there are still many games that are shrinkwrapped, and not sealed with a Y-fold, so not an 100% indicator of new or sealed.

Honestly, the best way to tell is always to just open it and check the condition inside, and from my experiences of receiving sealed items from Hastings in the past, they've all been new, without any signs of use at all, so take that for what it's worth.

Aren't Amazon warehouse sealed games also Y-fold?
Most of them are just re-shrinkwrapped. Very rarely are they Y-fold if they're used, but the thing is, AWD also sells Y-fold games that have been returned, but are still factory sealed, but if they were returned because of defect, they can't sell those as new again, so they just put them as used, while they may very well still be new and sealed.

Again, it's YMMV, and even when you purchase something new, it may not even be new sometimes, so just use your best judgement in these cases. :p

From my experience, Hastings has been great with sending new instead of used.

If I remember correctly Hastings has a pre-owned (they seem to be picky about game condition) and pre-viewed which is used but from their own rentals (not great condition sometimes). I generally like their used games compared to other places. I got a lot of great condition games when they closed a location I went to college at.

I wasn't going to go for a full set, but i have about 110 games now....so why not. lol

Same here.. have you gotten a refund yet? it's pending on my paypal?

Also, we should keep a watch on their site to see if it comes back in stock.

Knowing there's so many collectors out there makes me want to self publish the most crappy VN I can come up with and mark up a LRG release of the game to like $100 a copy.
Ohhh, what was that utterly crappy VN called "4Channers Bad Day" or something like that? I still have the Nintendo DS version somewhere.

That's my expectation as well, would thoroughly surprise me if this became available through any retailer or e-tailer.

update. They let me in. I ordered the $80 version.
That's the version I got during the Kickstarter. I just wanted the physical version and the bonus digital copy was major plus. So I can try the games on my Vita first in digital form before the physical versions are even available then decide to keep or sell the physical version when it comes out.

Honestly I think kickstarter is a good way to go with limited physical games... even games already developed and just needing to gauge demand to set the production order.

I'm likely going to play when Muvluv is on Steam with the digital copy and then when later the Vita physical comes I will likely see the price people are asking for it before deciding to keep it cause I likely wont play it after fully playing it on Steam.

I'll bet you they re-list it at the right price, "damaged" shipment or not.

Same here.

Also got a cancellation for the $16 Persona DAN CE at Newegg

Damn bastards, at least to tell the truth. My refund is already back to my paypal funds.

I did the same just now.

It helps a lot that they include a digital Vita code for free, even if it's a much later release. I spent $85 instead of $170 so my best friend can play these games on her new Vita, too.

Trying to follow along here, but it sounds like the ONLY Kickstarter project that has a Vita Physical release tied to it is Muv-Luv, correct?  I got in on that one so I'm covered there.  As far as I know all the other Vita games on Kickstarter are digital only releases.

This has been my understanding for a while now, and reading through the last few pages muddied it a little but, but I think that's still the case.

Bloodstained also offered a physical Vita release. Although the campaign is over, you can still pledge. $60 tier gets you a physical release.

Ahh, that's right! I already upgraded my pledge (grabbed the Xbox One version for the collector's box initially) by doing the Vita Add-On. I totally forgot about that.

My PS4 version of Saturday Morning RPG just got here. It came with a cool little postcard of the cover art too. Hope everyone else gets theirs soon.

Just picked up a mint/complete (I think, no manual) Supremacy MMA from Gamestop for $6.19.  Also, got a mint/complete (again, no manual) Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 for $22.49.  I'm guessing neither of those came with manuals since the majority of Vita stuff does not it seems.  It was nice actually having a successful Gamestop trip for once where I'm not met with box-less games and disappointment.

Well like the one poster said, its less then 26 bucks with GCU and I cannot fathom why anyone in the CAG or hell even SD communities would not have GCU at this point with all the deals BestBuy has done for it over the past year or so
I haven't jumped on the GCU boat yet. I don't really buy that many games on release. Besides the portables, I don't have any next gen consoles. So I figure to break even, I need to buy 4 games on release in 2 years before I start reaping the benefits. I may have been able to make that quota, but 3 of the games I currently have on preorder are not available at bestbuy. If there were enough great sales to get me to impulse buy, it'd work out but I've been pretty good on holding back.

You do know that the GCU 20% discount applies to ALL brand new games, regardless of release date? My membership has paid for itself many times over, with discounts on every new game purchased, no matter when it released. You may be confusing GCU with Amazon Prime's 20% discount, which is only for preorders up to 2 weeks after release.

Had a question about ammount of games sold & or released.. We all know Limited Run Games tells us how many are ever going to be sold etc..
But does anyone know how many English versions of Oreshika or One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 were sold or how many Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth's etc.. Would be interesting to see what sells more copies and stuff like that.. Also was thinking of getting U.K. copy Legends of War Patton but that seems to have dried up as of lately
prettymuch impossible unless you get numbers from neogaf which is rare for niche games. even tales which is on the higher end sales wise doesn't have all its numbers reported. xillia and xillia 2, hearts r and zestiria all are missing theirs.

I know. That's why I mentioned sales as well.

I use my friend's gcu.
I wish I had friends.

They convert new games to used much like gamestop. I've gotten 2 copies of vesperia new from them.

this^ On that note I've gotten dozens of new sealed games from amazon. But as said they are from damaged shipments, trade ins, expired sellers ect. Just last year I got a brand new launch phat ps3.

same minus when they get damaged during shipping. of the 30 or so Items I have ordered from them all have come with original cases and inserts.

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night

Muv Luv Trilogy

And, Libra of the Vampire Princess is very likely to get a physical release. It's just bit over $20,000 away from the Vita stretch goal and the developer is confident that goal will be met shortly after BackerKit is opened. Game is getting a physical release in Japan.
