Yeah, for the last couple years I've found Humble Bundle > PS Plus > Steam Sales

But now even Humble Bundle is starting to get a lot more disappointing.

 
I wouldn't enjoy the "four hours of gameplay" model because I would start the game up, play for a half hour, then fall asleep and run into a wall for the next 3.5 hours.

Yeah Humble Bundles had a good run for awhile there. It's pretty much the only time I end up buying PC games now because I figure why not?

 
Someone acknowledge my shiny new Smart As plat so I can feel better about all those hours waiting for the Roller Blocks timer to run out.

I get that Steam games are purchases but sometimes I really wonder if it's always going to be possible to play game "X" on my super computer of 2045, I guess there is always virtual machines or workarounds but I'm no way near as nostalgic as i used to be with games so I'm not sure it matters either way.

Just got a free game rental from Redbox, South Park Stick of Truth for my staycation?!  Yes Please! 4 days of the house to myself with the wife out= serious gaming and trophies :)

 
The balloon retrieval system in MGS seems pretty funny, but I'm afraid that it will make everything in the world feel like a collectible I have to recover and drag the gameplay down.

 
Ok so it's been beat to death since I've been asleep. But what turns me off the Now pricing (as of right now) is the simple fact that if these games are going to be that old, the price is way too high. These games have been on sale digitally for around the same price, can be found physically for around the same price (and then sold or traded), or have been included in Plus for free.

Enjoyed reading the responses, too much to quote, but I really hope their subscription model is decently priced, as this is the only way I'll be onboard for Now.

Also, I keep getting "access denied" on the forums.

I was semi excited by PS Now when it was announced at E3 last year. After a month or so I was pretty disinterested. Then the beta started and I wanted to at least check it out. With these prices I am glad I picked up a PS3 again last week. About the only use I could see for me with this is if they had new games that I wanted to try out before buying. $3 wouldn't be horrible for 24. Sort of like RedBox but a bit more convenient.

I couldn't see me ever doing more then the very occasional (like 3 - 4 times a year) 4 hour rental. Probably won't bother with it at all though.

Thought the same, why I gave him the 'like'. But to be fair, this thread plays their games at least (for the most part) and doesn't just brag about how "cheap" they got 45804842 games.

From what I remember about the game it would be a travesty to give it a plat. Howlongtobeat.com has it at 3 hours for a completionist. The game will probably be $10-$15 on PSN yet has content worth maybe $5? I want to play it for the nostalgia but cant pay more than $5 for it.

EDIT: $1-2 or free on plus sounds better though!
