Target clearance is YMMV, ya dig! Games may not even be on clearance at your store, or they may be higher or lower than what is on this list.

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Price adjustments on clearance are typically not allowed, but some have succeeded or have been able to do as return and rebuy.

Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction." Also, note that, typically, games will drop three times-- from 30%, 50%, then to the final drop of 75% off of the original price. Some people, however, have seen further drops up to 85%.

When games are marked down, the price change team typically find the game and scan it with their PDA/LRT to intiate the price change. However, in the case that they cannot find the game, they will either choose to not drop the price further or process the price change anyway, figuring that the game is somewhere in the store.

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:
Debbie Does Skywalker, Xbox 360, $4.98
Mesa, AZ Power Road at Superstition Springs

Also, a great help when you're posting deals you've found is to check this post and see if your item's DPCI number is already listed. DPCI stands for Department, Class, Item-- it's Target's version of a SKU. These are a nine digit number that can always be found on your receipt and also on the red clearance tags on the item itself. DPCI numbers are handy to have when you want to check the item's price-- just go over to your scanner and punch in the numbers, if your scanners have keypads. Also, you can give these numbers to team members so they can check the availability of the item easily with their PDA scanners. Please post any DPCI numbers that are not already in the OP-- thanks! This is especially important since some of the DPCI numbers on Target.com start with 241, meaning they cannot be used in-store, and also meaning that I can't get all of the numbers from Target.com.

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store. Numbers in yellow are DPCI numbers, which can be used to check the prices of items on newer scanners.

The Legend of EL HOARDO as told by Strell
No cankle too big and no score too small,
The one and only EL HOARDO.

He'll steal your stash - gonna take it all,
That's the one - EL HOARDO.

He's gonna run down all the aisles
and snatch up all the loot,
And he's feeling really confident
in his nipple protection suit!

Awesome sideburns and a dapper mask
He's at your local store,
Gonna clean out everything
And then go back for more!

Who's the guy in the Star Trek shades?
He's the man they call EL HOARDO.

His boots are secretly roller blades,
There he goes! EL HOARDO!

He's got a cape and it's totally sweet,
A flash in red and white,
Calls his fanny pack his utility belt,
He's ready for a discount fight!

You'd never think he could run so fast,
With a gut of giant size,
Asks all the ladies if they'd like a ride
On his Starship Enterprise!

What's that sound comin' down the lane?
It can only be EL HOARDO.

His stubby legs are gonna bring the pain,
Brace yourselves - EL HOARDO!

He packs a sword, it's a replica,
Like Zorro in disguise,
Gonna leave an H scratched on the wall,
Then he'll move those ten ton thighs!

Knows all the price drops all the time,
Has inhalers to survive,
Lives in a basement at his parents house,
At the age of thirty five!

That's the one who got your penny guide,
The stallion called EL HOARDO.

He's got his Rascal parked outside,
That Man-of-Men EL HOARDO.

EL HOOOOOOOARDOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

"You just got...EL HOARDO'D!" __________________

There have been some confirmed reports of La Whoreda, the female counterpart to El Hoardo. She is obviously more rare in the Target environment since she usually focuses her energy to her Avon business, but caution should still be exercised.
Has anyone seen :ps3: MW:HE?

I always read about everyone finding the :360: version.
I've seen the marked down price tag and the :ps3: dcpi shows the lowered price at my super targets, but I've never seen a copy in person.
Why May 7th? Also, how would your buddy even know this if he wasn't an executive. From one troll to another, I think every gamer in this world would like to see Nintendo Wii banished from Target, but it ain't gonna happen. Hell the 360 sells more software and only gets one little case at most targets I go to while wii gets like 6 cases. Anyway, nice trolling.
The Target I work at is #1 in sales in my state and we are constantly sold out of Nintendo Wii, Wii Fit Plus, and PS3 consoles.

Hey I was asking for an Item Search, and this CUTE girl :)D) helped me out I took a peek at her PDA and some stores say -1 (Negative 1) quantity... What the hell that means?

She thinks it means the item could not be found, but she doesn't know for sure.

That or Salvaged, she guessed.

Anyone here got a clue?

Scored a Gears of War 2 regular edition with the five flashback maps for $7.48.
I also picked up a power mat travel size for $70. It was the only one on clearance because apparently the box was "heavily damaged," but it was just bent on one corner. I took it to the counter and confirmed with the guy that it was on clearance and he scanned it and that's when we noticed that it was opened. I asked him to open to ensure the contents were all intact and he did. Everything was there, so I bought that sucker for $69.96 (after reuseable bag savings;)). I got home and tried it an everything is working just fine

Sometimes quantities are input wrong into the system. Say that store got shipped 4 copies of MW2, but whoever inventoried them in the backroom thought they got in 3 copies, so they input 3 on the PDA. When they sell all 4, it'll show up as -1 in those stores.

.. and sometimes, it's just a totally random glitch.

Great, looks like im gonna have to take a secondary trip to Targets >_>. My RE5 Disc seems to be nerfed (That or my 360 is warning me of its jealousy of the fact i am trading it in towards the FF13 Bundle on Monday), keeps giving Unreadable Disc error at random spots.

Man i hope they still have a copy left or im gonna be ticked >_>

no more re5 at military target, only fight night and guitar hero whatever

ps , let me know what you find new.

Just great, hopefully Greenbrier still has a copy left, last time i checked they had 6 (Though, thier clearance was empty, i brought the last Bakugan and someone else emptied out everything aside from the Controllers and Lego Rockband)

Look in the case at Greenbrier, I saw one RE5 in there still marked $27 or whatever it was for some reason even though there was a whole stack by the books and movies marked $9.xx.

The Target here still has copies of Metroid Prime trilogy, and they don't seem willing at all to drop those prices. I'll also add that the Sears Essentials n town had about about PS3 Beatles Rockband sets still priced at $160 or so; so strange how some places still have full retail on their sets while others are running a clearance.

Ah thanks, i forgot they still had some in there.
Btw....has anyone had them scan Lego Rock Band? Its been in the case for 24.99 since back when RE5 first showed up.

Nah, I would like to get that though.

I wish the :ps3: Band Hero would drop in the 757. I'd be all over that @ $50.

Apparently it did, when i was at Greenbrier last saturday, they had like 2 Rock Bands, both were gone monday. Same for Millitary, they had atleast 3 Rock Bands and a Band Hero, didnt have either when i went back

I've been watching Personal Trainer: Walking for a month and a half now and it finally hit the 75% off mark. I was nervous that it would get snatched up before that happened because it took so long, but the guys at my Target didn't bother to label it or put it with the rest of the clearance. It was just sitting with the cheap DS games outside the glass case, so no one knew it was on clearance. Worked out nicely for me.

Picked up a couple of wired (1st party) X360 controllers for 19.98 each. Apparently they were supposed to be marked down Wednesday but didn't until today. They had about 8-10 left at that price. (Hampton, VA)

The :ps3: Band Hero? I tried to pick it up at Military the other day but it was still only on the $20 price cut. They had :360: Band Hero clearanced, but not the :ps3: version, which is the one I want.

Did you see the guy on Craigslist in Hampton selling 3 Beatles Rockbands with Target gift receipts?

Yeah >_>, no doubt hes the one who brought most to all of them. Some of the hoarders around here are fierce
Apparently it did, when i was at Greenbrier last saturday, they had like 2 Rock Bands, both were gone monday. Same for Millitary, they had atleast 3 Rock Bands and a Band Hero, didnt have either when i went back
so ppl have seen ROCK BAND 2 bundles on clearence?

I have 3 bundles that have been at my target forever!
whats the clearence price?

It was the Beatles LE version, im guessing it dropped to 64 since they all sold out. Though some people are lucky enough to have gotten below 35$

I stopped at Midwest City Target today .. holy crap, cleared out completely except for some Tiga Tiga Woods Y'all 2010 at $41.98.

Might I add that Target is a dump.

New Drops Next Week??

LEGO Rock Band (Xbox 360) $24.98 Now.... waiting for $12.48... still $25 in most stores.
Guitar Hero Smash Hits (Xbox 360 and Ps3) 19.98 Now, waiting for $9.98. In my area, this game still $20..
SingStar Queen (Ps3) 19.98 Now, waiting for $9.98... I found this game for $10, but just in 1 Store, other Stores still $20.
Guitar Hero Metallica (Ps2) 7.48
Guitar Hero Metallica (Ps3) 19.98 Now... waiting for $9.98... $20 is a steal... You're a lucky man if you find this game for $10.
Guitar Hero Metallica (Wii) 9.98 Now... saw a few stores who still have this game... I think $20 is a steal, and why not for $10.
Prototype (Xbox 360) $19.98 Now, waiting for $9.98... Some users from CAG found this game for $10.. no luck for me.
Fight Night Round 4 (Xbox 360) $19.98 Now, waiting for $9.98... I don't see many copies of this game around my area, it would be hard to find it for $10..

I don't remember any more games for Xbox 360 or Ps3...

Most Wii and DS Games dropped 75% off in my area.

It happens a lot when instocks does research on the games in the cases. The PDA keeps telling them that there are say 5 in stock, but the shelf is empty and there's no backroom location, so they just zero the count.

A week later, a team member finds them in the backroom, not tied to any of the locations, puts them out for sale, and they all get sold. Bam, -5 in stock.

So I'm looking for PS3 games, one listed Killzone 2 at $14.98? Where in the hell is this at haha I haven't seen it anywhere near that I'm in the 804 area code

Nabbed two of the 360 Beatles RB sets for $62, was hoping for half off but this was too good to be true. Bought both the sets left, one for me and another for a friend...a minute later one guy came by looking for them, saw me and started bitching to his friend about how I had both in the cart. Yeah, it's the little things in life. ;)

Was he fat and wearing a cape? :p

LOL nah, no cape on him, maybe kind of chubby though.
haha priceless Masume.. What do they usually sell for?
The Beatles Rb sets? $250 last I checked, like others have reported they went from 30% off to 75% overnight. I was hawking my local ST and managed to be in on that day to nab them. They had one other prior but it was gone...for what you get for that price it's insane. Software plus mostly wireless upgrades on RB stuff? Thank you! Combine that with the Lips clearance at $15 a pop, me and the misses band is now cord free. :D
yea i got the last beetles rb at southpark mall va. Price just to good to pass up.
Damn you're close by Southpark is 5 minutes away from me.. Did you get it at the 75% off price too?
I dunno I just checked Ebay for that setup and it's going for around 60
Cheapest I've seen them go for there is $80+ for new. Used around ten bucks cheaper.
Any chance I'll find a Beatles RB LE 360 at Target today? Probably not, but I'm going to check it out anyway at lunchtime.
I've still been seeing Band Hero/Beatles RB bundles at 75% off as late as yesterday afternoon. I haven't picked one up myself, but if they somehow make it to 90% it'll be hard to resist.

I picked up the last :360: (or PS3 for that matter) Beatles LE at the Streetsboro, OH Target a little bit ago at $62.xx

There were none left at the Bainbridge/Aurora Target either.

I went to the Balboa Ave Target today and I saw:

PS3 Quantum of Solace 14.xx
PSP Rock Band Unplugged 14.xx
PS3 Singstar Queen 19.xx

They had about 6 copies of Quantum of Solace so I hope it hits 75% off soon.
Hah. That dude isn't getting any this week.

Btw, I was surprised to see Nintendogs because those games are evergreen. Every little girl who gets a new DS/i wants nintendogs.
No I think he is getting some....instead of playing on plastic guitars. :bouncy:

Went to Fields Ertel Target again this time in search of RE5. Had one but was marked and scanned at $19.98
Still 1 more :360: Band Hero Kit marked at $49.98.

Just a heads up. If you can find Tekken 6 get it cause you can flip a $15 game for $24 at Gamestop with their 50% bonus. I bought the 360 version and thought the game was absolute shit until I found out I could get $9 more than what I paid.

Foud some stuff at 75% off today. Picked all of these up
Wolverince DS - 7.48
Ghostbusters DS 4.98
G-Force PS3 - 9.98
Grand Slam Tennis Wii - 12.48
I'll admit to not really being sure why I picked up G-Force. I guess I am just a sucker for 75% off games, plus I have never played a game in 3D before (which I am guessing is horribly done).

And that made you enjoy playing it more?
