I figured we should have a thread for this as there seems to be some prices scattered around this site.

Here's what I got for some Xbox games on 6/20:

Mechassualt - $8
Blood Wake - $7
Time Splitters - $8
GTA 3/4 - $25
Indiana Jones- $3
Freedom Fighters- $8
Armed and Dang - $12
Riddick- $35

Honestly, I don't plan on doing what $hady is doing in definitely. But I was thinking of doing it maybe once a week.

Btw, have anybody heard anything about a promotion where you trade in one game and is able to order a new game for 29.99?

Ok how does GR treat games that doesn't have a case nor manual? Lets say I only trade in the bare disc (in some empty dvd case), would they take the game or is the case required?

They did give full credit for games with no case. They may have changed recently - im not sure. In the past you could just bring in a cd and get the same credit.
 
How much could I get for the games in my tradelist?

Fantavision(PS2)
NBA Showtime(DC)
NBA 2K1(DC)
NBA Hoops(DC)
Mega Man Battle Network 3 Blue Version(GBA)

Are there any trade-in that I could use these games for? Or if I add a couple of games?

SRS gets $25 I traded in the X-Box version this weekend
 
Madden 2005 has dropped to $29.99

I hit up my local BB and got Need for Speed UnderGround 2(PS2). I'll have a list of the items I traded in, I just can't find the list.

Here are my best guesses (I trade quite often at GameRush), again, not confirmed:
Fantavision - $1.50
NBA DC Games - $1.50 absolute max each
Another user posted the actual price of Mega Man.
IMHO, I would recommend using those games towards the trade 3, get one for $10 since they probably aren't worth much apiece.

as long as they have those games (used) in stock. Its really a great deal. The most common recently released used games that i've seen are Fable (i saw like 6 at the GR i just went to) and SW Battlefronts.

At all the Blockbusters and GameRushes near me, they have suspended the BOGO 50% off while they run the buy 2 get 1 free.

got killzone and another dvd with store credit left over

GR has the best deals going around. hopefully it will go on for a while
 
Those deals must be region specific....I did not see the trade one get $20 off at mine.

I did trade in the WalMart 3-pack of racing games: $6 total.

I used my Halo2 coupon, got Doom3
 
Hey guys, I found a good one for those that have Media Play's nearby. Group S Challenge for Xbox is $7.49 at Media Play and it trades for $18 at GameRush. The game might be priced at $29.99 at MP, but it's on 75% clearance so it will ring up at $7.49.

Last I saw the network adapter brought in $15 bucks or so. That was tuesday.

Not sure about the rest, I would guess a few bucks here and there. If you played your cards right, you could get a few used games for dirt cheap.

If you have a coupon from Halo2 book, you could trade 4 games, get used for $5 or trade 5 and get a used for $1

i dont think you will find anything better than GR. i know that EB was giving 35 a week ago or so...but im not sure anymore. GR gives the best trade in prices hands down. i believe that some actually price match if any other place gives more credit.

The best credit for Halo 2 is for the collector's edition at Gamerush. Currently, they have the game down for $45 in store credit (which is pretty amazing btw since I picked the game up with the GR Coupon for $40 new with one used trade in)

I haven't felt the need to play Halo 2 at the moment since my plate is sooo loaded (playing Monster Hunter, SMT: Nocturne, & Mario Tennis among others) , so I will be trading it in for new copies of Super Mario 64 DS and Feel The Magic on Sunday :)

GameCrazy will beat any other store's trade-in value.
 
don't quote me on this, but i'd say wait until at least tuesday before trading in COD. it might be 25 or 30 now, and go up $5 next week. it's happened before.

What about NFL 2K5? With the NFL season being over a few months away, I should trade it in to get the best value for it while I can, and plus, I've been busy with ESPN NBA 2K5.
 
I read from a post on another thread that someone pre-ordered a DS from a GameRush 100 Miles away from him. My question is " You can't transfer credit to different gamerush stores?" They gave me a Value Card with the credit on it but I'm asking to make sure.

Just buy a gift card with credit and you can use that nationally. If that helps at all.

How much does FF: Crystal Chronicles get? Along with ESPN NBA 2K4 and Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance?

Also, the extra 5 dollar deal is gone, right?
