Grrr... EA strikes with the Time Saver pack on Burnout.. leaves a bad taste in my mouth but I won't complain too much given how much the team has done for the game. I'm hoping they'll bundle all the cars and offer them cheaper as well... I'm not sure I still have enough interest to spend as much money on downloadable cars as the game itself costs.

I believe that's the one in the 360 CE. I don't have a PS3 one, but offhand I believe it's got to be one of the paid DLC packs that Capcom will be releasing, if not that one.

That is the one that comes with the CE. It's pretty much the worst pack out of what is yet to come :/

Amen. Would love to have been in the decision room for the PR on this one...let me see.
PR person #1: Let's choose the characters that are less used by most players, and put them in one DLC pack. We will then put them in the CE as a gift, since nobody would actually pay for it. Those CE suckers will buy it anyways.

Seriously though, the U.S. store is usually updated after 5:30 Eastern. It is pretty common for it to be delayed however.

Browsing ebay I found 3000 yen cards for $42. Unfortunately, it wasn't clear about shipping. I don't know if they were going to physically mail the cards to me or just email the code. Obviously, I'd rather save the int'l shipping and just get the code emailed to me.

Oh well, come April I'll have more money. Or I'll break down and sell some stuff on eBay.

OMG yes. it still has a large, active following, tons of fantastic matches all the time online.

I'm not one of "those" Warhawk guys either. I never got WAY into it, just played for a few months and loved it. For this price, it is absolutely worth picking up with the booster packs.

Or hell, I think there's a demo for it out there.
