Sucks about your flight, hopefully you get out tonight because we're expecting 12-18 inches of snow tomorrow. What'd you check out at pax? I usually watch games rather than playing them but played ultimate chicken horse (I think?) and full metal furies (rogue legacy dev). Has fun with a friend on UCH and thought FMF was wicked cool, I still need to check out rogue legacy. Went to a couple good panels too.

Maybe some people actually enjoy these point and click titles, but most would prefer playing them on console only because you can't get Xbox achievements on your Android. (Not counting Wordament and Minecraft).

If Capcom wants my money, then they should release a Mega Man X Collection. Hell, that would make me more likely to buy an Xbox One.

I live not too far from a hospital, so even if things get real ugly where I am (supposed to be over a foot) I never lose power for more than a minute or two, which is nice. Just went out and got the essentials, and I shouldn't have to work tomorrow unless the on call guy gets slammed.


Also have you guys been paying attention to the NFL off-season? Patriots really take no days off, and they recently trademarked the phrases Perfect Season and 19-0 in addition to the previously trademarked BlitzforSix. If Hightower comes back, and we can reel Butler back in off the edge then this season is a wrap
 
Ah, we got an inch of snow here in South Carolina yesterday and it was gone in a few hours. Not that we haven't had significant snow here towards the mountains but not this time.

Of course, it's supposed to be 80 here next week. :)

At this point I think every MT Framework game that did decently well on last gen will get a port instead of BC from Capcom. Most of the Capcom ports we've gotten run on this engine. Resident Evil 5, 6, Revelations 1; Dead Rising 1, 2, and OTR, Devil May Cry 4, Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3. (Ultra SFIV on PS4). Capcom is VERY familiar with this engine and I think the ease of use is the the main reason were seeing so many ports.

Other stuff I can see that hasn't happened would maybe be Dragon's Dogma, Lost Planet 1, Resident Evil Code Veronica X HD (which must have been ported into the engine for 360/PS3, since it wasn't originally on it.). Apparently Ultra Street Fighter 2 on Switch is running on this engine too, but I think it's mostly being retired. Dragon's Dogma is the only one I'm interested in getting a next-gen port of. Looks like it sold around 700,000 copies on Steam according to Steam Spy. I don't know if that's enough for Capcom to warrant the effort of making console versions, but it seems pretty good for a 4 year late port.

The only games not from this engine that were ported were DmC, an Unreal Engine game that was late enough in the generation to warrant an enhanced edition and still had the developer free to do the port, and RE4, which is old and ported to everything possible. That leaves stuff like Asura's Wrath up in the air, as it was also on Unreal, but not developed internally at Capcom.
