If you want the base Star Wars game and don't mind a used disc, it's part of the current buy 4 used games for $20 promotion at GameStop. At least if you buy it today, you would still have until tomorrow, 6/18, to swap it out for a different title.

If you're lucky, it'll last forever. They were doing a promo with some NHL series they were doing a few years ago and I STILL get it free via the app. It's not the greatest premium channel -- newer movies don't seem to get added as frequently as something like HBO. But for free? Can't complain.
 
Traded in Watch Dogs 2 and Plants/Zombies 1 for the 40% extra towards Zombie Chronicles, the GM threw one of those $5 cards on it. Ended up with $5 extra so I told him to put it on my COD preorder.

The single-player content in the game is limited to missions (training, battle (team deathmatch with bots) and survival) and Skirmish (online multiplayer, just with bots instead). However Skirmish only supports the Fighter Squadron (dogfighting) and Walker Assault (hard to explain, but basically a payload mode where you're attacking or defending the payload as it moves forward, the payload can also attack you) game modes.

On the bright side, both survival and Skirmish support co-op (both splitscreen AND online) and Skirmish and Battle support versus (both splitscreen and online).

You don't gain any offline content by owning the DLC besides weapons/star cards (which you need to unlock by playing online), so as previously mentioned, you're probably better off just buying the base game.

However, if you think you would ever bother playing online at all, go ahead and just grab the Ultimate Edition for the extra $5.

I don't have an Xbox One and I got $5 in my email, and I haven't even powered on my 360 since whenever that was that Lost Odyssey was free. My mom got a $2 code and she's never made any account aside from her normal email/Bing account. So it was either completely random or they are sending in waves. 

With that being said, I'm probably not going to use these 2 codes. I'm sure this is probably the wrong place to ask, but if anyone wants to trade a $5 Amazon code for a 2 codes equaling $7 for the Windows store, I'd be down for that.

Sometimes I wish I had been busted during the Oman Wars. Those are the times when I'm struggling to decide what to play next in my 80+ game backlog. I got console banned, but if I would have gotten account banned I probably wouldn't be playing video games today. Too much heartbreak.
 
I failed to return my physical copy of Stardew Valley for Xbox to GameStop by the 14th, so I'm gonna open it, play it a bit, and post my impressions by tomorrow for those who might be on the fence about picking it up on the weekly sale. The irony is that I own installments of Harvest Moon on PS2, PSP, PS3, GameCube, DS and 3DS, and I've barely played the games on any of those systems, but I've heard so many good things about Stardew that I'm looking forward to playing it finally. That, and I'm stuck with it anyway now since I can't get the full value back on the return.

Battlefront online isn't bad at all. No mic is needed to play. You can usually find a game but once in a while it is dead. It's totally worth $10 if you're willing to play online. The offline content is bare bones so if all you want to do is play offline, you should just "buy" a used copy from GS. They have a 7-day return window for used games.
 
Lol, I'd let it dry out for a fee days then give it a shot. If it wasn't powered up and nothing was shorted there's a slim chance it may still work. I had a 360 that made it through a house fire almost 10 years ago that had been hosed down and still works to this day
 
Thanks for the Epix trial, I've only been able to use the service in the past on free weekend days (and that was on TV). I decided I'd start my Game Pass trial before I forget about it and overwrite it with another code (I also got the email for that, not for any Xbox dough though).

The only things I didn't already have installed, lol, were Lego Batman game (I think I've played the demo of this one), Massive Chalice (I missed out on it when it was GwG), Lumo (looks interesting) & ScreamRide (couldn't pull the trigger when that was on sale). I've been throttled during the day so I set my Xbox to download at night via the Wireless Hotspot on my phone. That's prob when I'll check out Epix too, been staying up till early morning watching E3 videos because they finally replenish my speeds when everyone goes to sleep at around midnight, 1 AM. Thankfully I can still play Forza online. Jimbo, I too need that achievo so next time I'm online send me an invite or message.

Get one of those large paint bucket from Home Depot and some dry rice. I soaked my 360 once, sealed it off in the bucket with rice for like 3 days and took it out and everything was back to normal. Rice has saved my console, my iphone, and my shelf stereo system

I spilled coffee in my 360 S once. I nearly had a heart attack. It worked fine after it dried out, but I don't drink anything near my consoles anymore.

I've ruined way too much tech spilling beer on it. Hell I've lost 3 phones being bombed and accidentally throwing pants in the washer with my phone in the pocket.

During a really bad storm a few years ago my roommate and I were talking about what we would do if we lost power or water. She said she remembered that the toilet water was fine as long as it was clean and the shock on my face told her it wasn't. I had to explain to her that the water in the tank behind the toilet is sanitary but not the water sitting in the bowl that everyone's waste goes into.

I was hoping she was the only one who didn't know this but apparently I'm wrong.

Rumors circulating that Microsoft knows they need more first party exclusives. Looks like they are hiring for some projects but they are 2-3 years out. It's good to know they are investing in more games for the future! I'm not sure how long Forza, Halo and Gears can carry the ship.
 
Dead by Daylight has always looked interesting to me since it was first released on Steam. But now that I've played Friday the 13th and hated it, and it looks like the exact same game, I'll have to pass sadly.

I did enjoy the first Dungeon Defenders, so I can't say no to a free sequel.

For what it's worth, the games are somewhat different and Dead by Daylight doesn't have the major issues Friday the 13th has (both technical and gameplay-related).

 
Best Buy has the Bioshock collection for $25 and I'm really tempted to use my gift card from that hard drive. I played and loved all three games years ago and wouldn't mind going through them again, convince me one way or the other.

the original and it's sequel are both still pretty good.

Oddly enough, Infinite felt the most dated to me, and I didn't bother to finish it in this collection.
