The small Halo announcement could be anything. 343i will not be giving Halo 3 the anniversary treatment nor do I think they're remastering Reach. So maybe a short cinematic trailer for Halo 6 (like the one they showed back at E3 2013 for Halo 5). Crackdown 3 is what I'm really looking forward along with Scorpio's price.

Last but not least, if Bethesda announces Evil Within 2, then I need to complete the first one. I got stuck in a room filled with water, blood and guts and left it there. I should also get around The New Blood since I bought it for $6 last time it went on sale.

I'm starting to think single-player isn't going to happen. Maybe it's because they're still working on fixing the core game, but there hasn't been a word about singleplayer stuff while the microtransaction-capable multiplayer has been getting fairly regular "new" content. I don't know that it'd be at E3 but if they don't announce something in the next month or so it's probably not happening.

The dev team already said Shenmue 3 isn't going to be at E3. I'm not sure which comparison you're trying to make as Might No 9 and ReCore had totally different issues with the only real connection being Comcept and Inafune's involvement. ReCore simply came out mediocre with a few nagging issues like long load times. MN9 was a classic Kickstarter disaster, a negative against the platfrom much like Broken Age, but it's definitely way to early to say if Shenmue is going to go one way or the other. They haven't done any horseshit like trying to do a second crowdfunding period for a feature no one wanted as MN9 did. The only thing Shenmue is probably guaranteed to be guilty of is delays, much like Bloodstained has been doing.

New skills for all classes, new Inconceivable difficulty for campaign and Horde, new Ironman mode for campaign and Horde where dying means you have to start over.  The new maps for the month are Avalanche returning from Gears 2 and Rust Lung returning from Gears 3.  500 GS of new achievements.  Free trial available June 9-15, first act of campaign available and full access to Vs / Horde, 10 hour time limit.

I agree that if we don't hear anything about single-player DLC for MEA soon then it won't happen. Too bad, given THAT hint during the epilogue.

Had no idea Shenmue 3 was not going to be at E3. Shows how little I care about it but I thought I'd mention it while I was typing my post. Again, I don't have anything against it, at least not the way Jeff Gertsmann hated the original games. He once referred to them as "forklift simulators for assholes" jajaja.

And while I know Halo 6 won't be here, just like Halo 5 was a no show at E3 2014, they still could tease it. But hey, if MS was willing to revive Halo Wars, they might do something similar for ODST. Fingers crossed.

I disagree that it is bare bones. Did you try the Treasure Battle or Arcade Mode? I like that you can level up across both of them. And getting 'loot boxes' is fun in Treasure Battle - as there are hundreds of things to unlock.

There are some pretty good ideas there. One big one is the regenerating grenades for Solider, their best skill is holding and planting way more grenades than normal, but once you burn through those that you spawn with it's very slow to replenish your stock. Reduced explosive damage on Heavy could be a game changer depending just how much it nerfs enemy explosions.

I think the best change detailed is having the boss at wave 30, 40, and 50 give you a Horde Skill card. This will help curb people quitting at wave 20 just because they completed a bounty.

Sorry if this has been mentioned already but Bing Rewards has a "hot deal" for XBL Gold Memberships going on until 6/30. 1 month is 4,900 points and 3 months is 9,600 points. What do these go for normally? I know the 12 month is usually 30/29k . Also looks like Game Pass has been added as a reward (7k/6,800 points for 1 month, 30/29k points for 12 months).

Nice! Hopefully more games are added to Game Pass soon. The selection is fine, I just own everything but 9 or 10 games.

Apparently they finally decided to try using compression for Gears 4, coming soon. It only took hitting 91 gigs to do so. Sounds like we're going to have to re-download the game though.

RIP bandwidth but I'm glad they're actually doing something about it. Hopefully Halo 5 does something similar, it's at 97.8 gigs for me currently.

That's an amazing deal for the year, considering a yearly sub isn't even available for purchase (at least not yet, hopefully there will be soon-ish), so it'd be $120 at the current price.

By my math, getting that many points will take about 4 months just with the daily 250, which is about how long it takes to get $30 of MS monies when it's not discounted.

I recommend saving up once we see how quickly the games rotate in and out.

How exactly do I do this? I own Minecraft Story Mode Episode 1 and Game of Thrones Episode 1, as well as both season pass discs. What do I have to do to get the game to open without the disc? Every time i try to open it, then it crashes.

Your right with Treasure Battle - mainly because It's a big fuck you to Injustice 2 micro transactions. Arcade on the other hand is pretty weak to me since It's just 5 straight fights then the boss -but then again that's standard I suppose. Either way Tekken is a excellent fighter. Once they get the ranked matches fixed and the load times shorter in the future we have a great classic on our hands. Look at those Steam reviews!

At this point I think we can see more ports. MS would have to pay NVIDIA licensing fees for BC just like they did on the 360, and it's probably a lot of work for less return. Where as port of original XBox games every few months via slow drop feed would be more profitable for them.

Not really a remake. It's a 1:1 port on the XBox One outside of loading time tweaks, live implantation (that was around on the OG XBox, but had to be re-worked to make work on X1) and frame rate stablization. They did add a ping meter in the recent update so maybe down the road it will get even more features. The PC has some resolution tweaks as well, so hoping with Scorpio it can look a little better.

F13 Still not working after a full week? Glad I got my money back on that one. If they were smart, they would have released it as a game preview - people wouldn't have gotten so burnt that it was a non-working pos right out of the gate.
 
First patch out for F13, currently downloading, 3.5gb. I've experienced a lot of them but some I was like what the hell

They still have more to do but making my favorite game at the moment even better is a win.

also kind of confirmed that DLC will be coming like possible Roy (if you watched them all you know what I'm talking about). Would be interesting to see what his strengths and weaknesses would be

Awesome, Avalanche is in my top 5 best Gears of War map ever so that is a welcomed addition, Rust Lung is more of a ehh. Not bad but nothing special either. Will be playing some of that this weekend.

Watched Wonder Woman. It was surprisingly enjoyable. I liked it much more than the recent few DC movies, makes me excited for Justice League.

It looks like the WD2 code in the package gives you the entire gold package (game and SP) with no need to use the disc... Bonus!!!

I, too, found it enjoyable. A worthy superhero movie. As for Justice League, I saw the trailer but didn't see Superman unless I just totally missed him. They also have to get rid of Affleck.

I hope to see wonder woman this weekend. Trying not to get my hopes up after the last few DC movies but what I'm seeing is giving me a bit of hope.

I haven't seen any superman in justice league trailers but I think
that whatever the story is, haven't looked into it much, that him coming back will be tied in. Hopefully they're being smart and keeping him out of trailers due to the end of the last movie and aren't going the way marvel did by ruining the spiderman boat scene.

I've only really been a Batman fan but have gotten into The Flash in the last few years. Interested in seeing what they do with him and the new actor. Seems like the trailers are mostly focused on fight scenes with Batman, wonder woman and aquaman from what I've seen.
