Hadn't heard of this game before today, sounds pretty cool. It's from the developers of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow games, but self-published so you Konami can't fuck it up. Xbox/PS4/Steam/Win10. Xbox/Win10 crossplay.

Whoops. I'm posting too much today. Yeah, AoM is a lot more in line there. The super powers in SR4 were a bit closer to Crackdown in my opinion. So far this reminds me the most of Saints Row The Third. Driving looks pretty much the same except I think I notice a Mario Kart-like drift boost, the combat appears to control the same. The roller derby woman seems to be inspired by the roller skate Deckers from SR as well.

Almost had a mini heart attack seeing it was developed by Arc System works. Still no Guilty Gear on X1 and the latest Blaz Blues skipped X1.

But then... based Namco! and of course the DBZ license is probably popular on X1, but the latest One Piece is skipping X1 as well.

So great news! I look forward to playing it next year!

Square-Enix is on the hype train for Scorpio. I hope this finally means Kingdom Hearts collection on the X1. That would be huge. Not sure what the PC/X1 exclusive is though.

If you scroll down theres 2 spots for X1 and 3 for the Switch (one has to be Mario Odysssey). They are marketing Shadow of Mordor since it's a play anywhere exclusive but not really exclusive. There has been a lot of Banjo hints on twitter. I'm going to go with Banjo reveal as X1/PC exclusive. Not sure what the other title would be.

Edit: Probably Forza.

That is all I see for leaks/rumors today outside of a supposed E3 only bonus GWG.

I wonder what's going to happen if the Mixer stream buckles. I think this is the first high profile event that will be broadcast on it, and with them trying to bribe us away from Twitch they could get more than they can handle. 

I hope they announce what the free stuff will be ahead of time, but the wording sounds like we'll find out live. I'm expecting all trash unless they shadowdrop some indie game or something.

I think it's a Secret of Mana 4K remake, all new graphics, exclusive to Xbox One.

Not sure if it's related to our speculation that we might get temporary free EA Access like last year, but Xbox just tweeted that Battlefront is free to play this weekend.  Pretty sure it means achievements can be unlocked (only trials/demos don't let you unlock achievements I think).  Also, tweet specifically mentions the DLC, but free to play is for the game.

This is barely Xbox related but I ordered Xcom 2 and some other stuff for delivery on Wednesday and UPS magically couldn't find my address that they've delivered dozens of packages to. I called to "correct" my address and they once again didn't show up yesterday, saying online that there was no one available. Now I was home all day yesterday so either they're lying about this or they went to the wrong house. Now I just had to call because it's not here yet as of 5PM and I have to head into work, and I guess they're not open Saturday because I have to go Monday to get it.

Sorry to hear that. Do you live on a road that requires a left hand turn off a one way street? That could cause them some trouble.

 
Am I the only one that only does the Forzathon challenges for cars and wheelspins? Unless the others are stupid easy of course.

Speaking of which, the one for spending $200,000 is now up to 1.78% lol
 
I try to do them all for completeness sake.  One batch I missed because they ran Thu-Sat instead of Fri-Sun, I missed the first mid-week batch because I didn't know they weren't just sticking to weekends and I ran out of time on one challenge where I finished the last race of a championship a minute or so after the Forzathon ended.

 
Finally got around to beating Rise of the Tomb Raider. What a fantastic game. Huge improvement over the already very good first game in the reboot.

I would say at least in the 20 hour range to play through the main story and do a decent amount of side stuff, but not everything. I finished at 70% completion, and I was not trying to complete all the achievements, I do not have time for that shit, but it enjoyed the game a ton.
 
Scored a Forza Horizon 3 Ultimate tonight for $60. They're discontinued but no clearanced out yet and none can be found in stores or website, but there was a lonesome one laying on a counter tonight, still scanned $99. So I made my plead to the manager and she priced matched with Gamestop even though they're in the same boat (no store/not on website). So I think I got a good deal

 
Just about finished with Army of Two:Devil's Cartel.  It is actually a pretty decent game.  Makes me wish I would have played the first two though because dam they did not pull any punches with this story.  Pretty brutal.

Most people would be shocked at the completion rates with games, and I am not talking about gamer score or achievements, just finishing the game even once. According to the Entertainment Software Association, only around 23% of gamers wind up actually completing the games they start on consoles. Thats pretty insane when you stop and think about it. I pretty much always wind up finishing the games I start. Soemetime I will walk away for awhile and come back and finish it later on, but I still wind up finishing the VAST majority of games I buy. I might not finish 5% tops. The fact that games are just getting bigger and bigger (games like fallout 4, Skyrim, GTA V, etc.) just makes it that much harder for people to actually finish a game.

As for this weeks sales, really nothing I aminterested in. I did pick up Assassins Creed Season Pass since we rarely dee DLC go on sale, but thats it for me this week. Kind of a blessing actually as I went a bit crazy last weel with MS's BC sle. I wound up purchasing a ton of games, many of which I already wned physical copies for. Digital is just so much more convenient.

Did anybody else just have the first three mass effect games show up on their Xbox one? I own them on disk but they literally just popped up and installed. I don't own them digitally.
It would be weird for a free play weekend for older games even with the ea event tomorrow, right?
