I have a 5 year old Panasonic 37" 480p plasma - but it can take upto 1080i signals. Nevertheless, HD still looks great on it; HDTV and PS3. My next TV will definitely be 1080p; but I'm in no hurry to upgrade for now.

I got mine mainly for the blu-ray player. I bought the ps3 remote as soon as I saw it in stores. For me, the exclusive killer-apps will be MGS4, and FFXIII. VF5 is another but that'll be on XBox360. For now, I'm happy with Gran Turismo HD. I'll be happier once they make Tekken5DR available...

PS3s are not plentiful in my area. All stores are out of stock of both 60's and 20's except one. As for the price drop? I doubt it too. Not as long as the Xbox 360 Premium is retailing for 400 and the HD-DVD drive for 200.

Got mine from Wal-Mart. No other stores had it in my area.

The 60GB I bought a few days ago didn't include the movie. It did come with a bunch of 10 dollar rebates though.

The PS3 has the same A/V connector as that of the PS2. I have my PS3 hooked up with the same component cable I used for the PS2 and it works great. BB sells a $25 version of the PS3 component cable; and Circuit City sells the PS2 component cable for the same. Those are the cheapest ones I...

I think they should just release a new firmware update that removes the region code check.

The only you lose with component is 1080p, I think. I don't have a PS3 (yet); Can anyone confirm?

Zelda II was great. I think it wasn't popular because it's so hard. And it was very hard compared all the other Zeldas.

No Wii for me. All I have is the Wii component cable (the only online order that went through without getting cancelled). I went out at 4am. Best Buy had 24 units, 27 people in line Target had 18 units, 22+/- in line Toy's R Us had as many people in line as Best Buy - I didn't bother asking...

I ordered one, but haven't received it yet. No tracking number as well, but it's supposed to ship today.
