What I like to imagine is that Half Life 3 was free and I barely got it.

 
I have relatives in Cyprus, where I think the servers are physically located. I should have them sit in front of the computer clicking like maniacs just so I can say I got a free $2 game!

 
I think i've solved the puzzle. When the banner flips :if it stutters then that was a free game and you just missed it

if it completes the animation then it's a regular 80% off.

Eh, just seems like GOG is whipping up demand by purposefully limiting quantities in order to induce sales. This kind of crap isn't worth the stress level and buyer's remorse I'll get later on.
