any prediction of what the $100k unlock will actually be?  the groupees video hinted at something they considered epic, which is up to interpretation

 
I don't even think they'll reach it.  This thing has come to an absolute stall.  My assumption is it'll be multiple games, albums, comics, w/e and not just one thing.

Yeah, they're gonna need to reduce the goal for us to reach it.. but I don't know if they'll do that for a charity bundle.

 
this should be interesting to watch, they still have almost 12 days and are 33% there.  I am going to guess that they will only reach 50% if they do not offer more stuff to buy

At this point, I think it's safe to assume that it won't be met within 10 days unless some extremely wealthy and generous person comes along. So I guess they could say it's Steam and DRM-free copies of the new Thief game, Saints Row IV, Bioshock Infinite GOTY, Borderlands 2 The Really Well and Truly, Honest No Foolin' Complete Edition, a new unpublished Deus Ex game, Civ VI, Baldur's Gate III, Half Life 2 Episode 3 and Half Life 3 bundle, King's Bounty 2014 Iteration, Warcraft IV, What-the-Hell-One-More-WoW-Expansion, Diablo IV, Starcraft II: Legacy of the Void, Fable IV, Grand Theft Auto V-VI Dual Pack, Red Dead Redemption GOTY, The Sims 4, and Elder Scrolls VI.

As mediocre as I found Diablo III to be, I guess I'll wait on a Christmas 2014 sale on that. I picked up the base game for $10 at TRU and I felt like it was worth what I paid for it but it wasn't anything extraordinary.

 
It's dead, Jim. I'm surprised they haven't tried anything to generate more interest.  Hasn't moved more than 2% since the initial push to 34 or so.

 
I wish I knew what the bonus was so I could know if it was worth it to buy all the games I want separately. Screwing over the hungry by sticking groupees with 5 separate transaction fees doesn't bother me. But getting 5 copies of the bonus would suck if it's just a video of Jonny streaking across that bridge.

This isn't technically accurate, spoder. The page says, "A new bonus level has been activated," which looks suspiciously like they just split whatever the Mega-Exciting Bonus was into two parts and put the crappier bit at the first tier. Note that it now refers to "Bonus 1 of 2" meaning that there's one realistic goal to reach within 48 hours and one that we don't have a rat's-ass-chance-in-hell of getting to in that timeframe.

We don't know what the 2nd bonus will be though. Yeah, it could be a split version of the old goal, or it could be entirely different.

Yes, you could be right; I just don't think that's how Groupees operates. They don't call him "Shifty Slug" for nothing, after all.

If they were smart, they'd put the awesome bonus at the crappier 45K tier to entice more people to buy the bundle hoping for something even better at the 100K tier. Groupees is not that smart.

 
340 meals more to unlock the first bonus, it would be a more realistic target if they reduce the next goal to 50,000.

Doesn't surprise me too much.  Would have been pointless to go down in flames.  It's crazy they probably had 2nd and 3rd bonus goals lined up, too.

 
This is what the email that they sent out says:

"Special 45,000 meal bonus added along with our 100,000 meal goal."

Pretty much the same thing that warreni thought.

 
Welp I finagled a Blood of the Werewolf key from a friend.  If the bonus(es) are good I'd probably buy a couple o' games myself.

They made 5 episodes. Episodes 1-4 were supposed to be Season 1 with 5+ being Season 2. Needless to say Season 2 was canceled so episode 5 became its own thing. So when we got Season 1 thru Groupees we were only getting 1-4.

 
So, the soundtrack to 3 games I didn't buy, a disturbing sounding comic, and a Doctor Who game that seems to have it's download broken.  Tanfastic.  We better still be getting that naked bridge running video we were promised.  And maybe Steam keys for Doctor Who.

It'll be part 1 of a broken rar file, a corrupted gif, the Windows 95 boot up sound, and an nfo file for a keygen app from 1996.
