Madden 12 Official CAG League - On official hiatus until Madden 13.
Yeah, but we wouldn't have approved both those players for just the 1st even if you'd gotten it in on time. Definitely needed to be more going back.
even with the players he put in? the 79 ovr wr and the le? for avril and sidny rice....
even with the players he put in? the 79 ovr wr and the le? for avril and sidny rice....
No, I mean for just the pick. With the other players I think it's fine, but I'm waiting for fero to weigh in as well.

i dont even think he needs to put in the guys he did to make it fair we just did it cause u said to.... that te is beast and a great run blocker
has the redsox bullpen really been terrible?
It started off historically bad, culminating with that huge lead they blew to the Yankees two weeks ago. It's settled down a bit since then, but there's still not many guys down there I have a lot of faith in.

Losing Andrew Bailey before the season and having Melancon be completely useless really hurt them, since those were supposed to be their 8th and 9th inning guys.

My opponent (Reds711 aka ATLANTA FALCONS) is working all day and night the next few days he says...he said he'd only be able to play around 11:30 p.m. EST tonight or tomorrow night (and I work the overnight shift starting at 11 p.m. so that's about the only time I CAN'T play). I PM'ed him back asking if he can play around that time Sunday night too cause I'm off Sunday...so if he can play around then, I hope it's okay if we get our game in Sunday night around 11:30 p.m. EST. I told him the earlier the better since we advance Sunday night since I'm sure advancing at around 12:30 a.m. isn't ideal.

Seahawk - 24
Chargers - 14

After a rough two seasons the Seahwaks came out playing smash mouth football and it paid off. Although they only amassed 167 yards of offense they were able to keep the ball for 11:37 and punch it in every time they were near the red zone.

Defensivenely the Seahawks forced 4 turnovers and held the Chargers to 1 rushing yard. A pick six by second year SS Carrington Murrel was the defensive play of the game.

I need to improve my third down effiecency and will probably have to put up more yards than I did today to keep winning. Even though the draft was useless (anyone need a WR or LOLB?) I feel like this team is very solid. Hopefully I can keep them on the right track!

I can't remember if this was ever brought up...but are we still open to resign a player that was dropped before the draft somewhere down the line during the season? Especially since this could very well be our last one. I drafted a WR in the 5th round who is horrible as a receiver but is a solid returner, so that's where I'm gonna use him. He has like 70 or 75 injury though, so let's say he gets taken out for the season on a kick return in Week 4 or 5...can I drop him and pick up one of my own players I dropped earlier on?

I think it should be allowed at least as a minor solution to long-term injuries. Since this game doesn't have anything resembling an IR where we could keep an injured player but open up a roster spot...this would at least be a decent fix for that. So the FA pool could be used as kind of an IR (for season-ending injuries) or a PUP list (for long-term injuries bot not necessarily season-enders) and we can drop our injured player into it. It can be open to discussion as to whether or not people could swap that injured player BACK into your roster once he's healthy again or if this would be a permanent one-time decision you'd have to make.

So essentially...the players you dropped prior to the draft could be looked at like the "practice squad". If your player gets injured during the course of the season you could drop him into FA (the "IR" or "PUP") and promote someone from the practice squad temporarily (or permanently if you guys think that's how it should be done) until the end of the injury or season and then swap them back. Just a thought...it could be something worth looking into for next Madden too. I think it'll help people who are plagued with injuries and, to me, it's a better solution than what we currently have in place where someone picks up an injury replacement from FA. That would eliminate the "hidden gem" aspect of that policy...but my proposal wouldn't necessarily help if you're low at depth at a certain position due to injury and you never actually dropped anyone at that position prior to the draft.

And this wouldn't just include players you dropped prior to the draft but also any draft picks that you may have dropped after the draft...since presumably you'd be drafting to address depth issues in the later rounds.

The trade is fine, but it won't be processed until after this week, so go ahead and play your game.

That's a decent idea, but I don't think it's good to switch it up this late into the franchise. Our rosters are big enough to accommodate injured players, since we don't need to have guys on the roster like core ST players, long snappers, etc.

It's definitely something we could throw in for M13 though.

Bseti is set to sub in for the Raiders around 10 30 pm is anybody available now, Im back home because I couldn't get tickets to see Avengers today smh and Redz I sent you a offer for Matt Ryan.

Steelers 35 - Bengals 25 in a nightmare game which saw key players going down with injury on seemingly every other play. This game wracked up an impressive body count.

Jets - 28
Dolphins - 7

The Jets open up their season in good form, with a solid win against a division rival. On the first series of the game, rookie DT, Rodney Tubbs, got a sack, forcing Miami to punt. The Jets gave the ball right back though, as Mark Sanchez threw a pick to a leaping Sean Smith, who was hawking the middle of the field.

With the Jets defense deep in its own territory, FS, Dontavis Norris made a huge play, intercepting Peter Newcomer, breaking a tackle and taking it back 82 yards for the first score of the game, in what would be a wild first quarter. After another Dolphins 3 and out, the Jets struck again, with Sanchez finding TE, Cameron Patterson for an 81 yard score. Miami drove the ball well on their next drive, until Dontavis Norris struck again, getting his 2nd INT deep in Jets territory.

Starting at their own 2 yard line, New York drove slowly down the field, using the majority of the 2nd quarter. They capped the drive off with a 9 yard TD strike to Golden Tate, with 0:17 left, giving them a 21-0 lead at half time. In the 2nd half, Miami fought valiantly, but the odds were just stacked against them. A muffed punt early in the 3rd quarter led to a quick score to give the Dolphins new life. But Jahvid Best answered with his longest run of the game, a 67 yard rumble to put the game out of reach. GG, fero. Newcomer didn't do you any favors with some inaccurate passes and then that fumble.

Jets
Mark Sanchez - 4-8, 119 yds, 2 TDs, 1 INT
Jahvid Best - 22 att, 152 yds, 1 TD
Cameron Patterson - 2 rec, 93 yds, 1 TD
Golden Tate - 1 rec, 9 yds, 1 TD
Bryan Thomas - 5 tackles, 1 sack
Dontavis Norris - 1 tackle, 2 INTs, 1 TD

Dolphins
Peter Newcomer - 10-19, 183 yds, 0 TDs, 3 INTs, 4 att, 13 yds, 1 fumble
Antavio Bolton - 7 att, 17 yds, 4 rec, 63 yds
Jocqua Lofton - 1 att, 14 yds, 1 TD
Justin Cooper - 2 rec, 42 yds
Jason Fobbs - 2 rec, 47 yds
Chris Clemons - 10 tackles
Karlos Dansby - 6 tackles
Randy Starks - 3 tackles, 1 sack

So am I playing reds or yanks??? I pmed yanks and asked when they could play because yall are roomates right?

not sure why the lions jags trade cant go thru now i understand that sprice already played his game but his guys were also sitting in FA when he played his game and the trade was presented right after the draft as well
i'm not disullusioned enough to believe that was a close game...it was a blowout.....

gg I guess.

until next time.
Regardless of the final score, I'll say this. Your defense had me nervous the entire game. I only threw 8 passes because I felt like a turnover could easily swing the momentum at any time. And when I screwed up on that punt (I should have gotten the hell away from it), I was terrified of going 3 and out, and giving you the ball back. I was lucky to break the few runs that I did. And you had the ball inside my 30 several times. Had it not been for Norris (who is a beast...thanks, Uber!), it definitely could have been a different game.

Bears 28 - Patriots 10

This game was much closer than the final score indicates, as several late Patriots turnovers changed the complexion of the game. Mog also felt the need to run a 1-yard score in when he could have run out the clock, his excuse being "I'm drunk." Which, for future reference, is not a great excuse. ;)

gg mog! It's a shame our first game got disconnected, I was playing much better in that one. I just abandoned my gameplan there near the end, which was weird considering I had the lead at the time. Those picks were very uncharacteristic.

Me neither. There were at least six, in a perfectly sunny game. Even Mikel Leshoure who has a 99 carry had one.

Could last a few weeks, my schedule doesn't get any easier the next few weeks: BSETI next and then MA after that.

Well, my bye is in week 3 and then I have you in week 4. So, it's not like I'll have a chance to get a huge lead. And I've got Kaster in Week 2...and he's given me a few beatings, so I could easily stall out before I even get moving, lol.

I'd love a competitive division race to be honest, I haven't really been challenged for the division since season 1. Maybe having to sweat it a bit in the regular season would help me overcome my playoff woes (assuming I make it).

I know im new but I dont like this trade. a 92 LT A pot at 23 for really only the FS. The other 2 players are garbage to me and doesnt look like an even trade at all. Maybe its just me...

You're entitled to express your opinion, but calling players "garbage" really doesn't add anything. Connolly is mostly filler at this point, but Price is a solid receiver if you look at his ratings.

Moore is also a very good player, he's got a great zone rating combined with an excellent catch. He's a ballhawk in the right system.

Obviously Willis is the best player in the deal, but that's why he's netting 3 guys.
