Be aware that not all Sears are alike, so prices are definitely YMMV.


List

• date = date posted or updated
• cp = current price
• opp = old posted price
• (oos) = out of system
  
• * = posted at different prices (more than twice, most are)

Colors

• white = current update
• dark gray = old (ie. out of stock items)

if the prices are not updated in over a month, it will be colored as dark gray.

notes:

• Don't turn this into your own trade list. Don't ask people if they want to trade X game for your Y game. PM is the best way to ask. Do your trading on the Sears Trade Thread.
• Print UPC-A barcodes if you're having a hard time getting someone to open the cases for you. If you need UPCs refer to Half.com (just type the name of the game) or to io's kmart clearance thread. Go to either UPCDatabase.com or Barcodesinc.com to generate a UPC A barcode.
  
• If you bring up a game and the employee scans it and does not show up in the system, it is most likely that the item has been pulled out of their inventory (most of us would call it 'out of system'). What this means is that the item must be returned to the manufacturer (so they were told anyways, but i don't believe it..). You can try to get them to sell it to you for the stickered price shown or maybe lower. It depends on the employee or manager.
• Some of you are confused as to why some games are priced and rung up at retail prices but its listed below as clearanced at their respective clearance prices. Heres a good example:
  • 100607 ... 01.97 ... 09.97 ... Dead or Alive 4 (Non PH) *
  • ^^^^^ notice how the last reported price was October 6, 2007. The Platinum Hits version was also on clearance since it shared the Regular version's barcode. But they put the price back up in retail a few months later. Hence you still see the game now as retail instead of clearance.

Bah, on Sunday my sears wouldnt let me get a pricematch, telling me the only way to get one is to return an item and re-buy it after it goes through the inspection process and hits the floor again. I went ahead and returned them on Sunday. On Tuesday the games were "locked in the back case" and now they've been sold.

I only got 2 games from my sears. They priced everything right and had it in a bin at the front of the store. The whole time I was there it was packed with people looking. I'm sure there was a lot of good stuff that got taken before me. I'm happy though. The eternal sonata was well worth the trip for that $5 price tag.

Last year my Sears had 4 Metroid Prime LE Gamecube bundles. Snagged them all for 20-30$. So im sure others could have found these if I found 4.

Thanks for the tip. I just bought 15 copies of each. I'll go back next month for the huge price adjustments -- Do I actually have to take the games back, or can I do it with just the receipts?

Very few stores will have a Gamecube left. When they dropped to $19.97 last March, I had to go to 5 Sears before I found one and it was the last one at that store that did have it.

I've found that some Sears still have Gamecube systems, but they have them in backstock, and you have to ask for them. Now, here's the catch - if they're in backstock, they are most likely NOT updated to the lower price. The closest Sears to me has 2 of them, and they're still $49.97.

Just got the word that the following were out on a clearance table at the local Sears:

Xbox 360:

Bourne Conspiracy 24.97
Lost Odyssey 24.97

And Civilization Revolution scanned at 24.97 for 360, but none in stock.

Just wondering if either one is worth picking up at those prices?

Lost Odyssey is easily worth $25, if you're into JRPGs. Bourne Conspiracy is a lot of fun, but it gets repetitive, and there's no real reason to play again after you beat it.

I had to picked up $19.97 Lost Odyssey at Sears in Appleton, Wi. there is one more left if anyone wants one who lives near the area. also picked up Obscure for Wii at $9.97. there wasen't anything at the $4.97...guess someone else picked them up before I came in

Last month we had a few days heads up on when the next price would be effective. Do we know again this time, last time we got an inside tip off.

I went back to my sears after a month or so absence. All the $5 PS3 games are gone. They were there for months. I think the employees got tipped off to cheap deals. The lady ringing me up was flabbergasted by seeing a marked game for $60 ring up for $4.97.

I did notice a Braun Beerster for $149.97, originally $299.99

KMart, last I heard, didn't price match.

If I can make it to a Sears in the next few days I'll scan some known clearance games, and maybe some of the newer drops such as Heavenly Sword or Lost Odyssey.

Look it up on youtube.

I may have a source for new drops. My mom's friend works at some sear's in Iowa, and she is willing to email me scans of the clearance list when they come.
