yeah im down gettinmoney. and yeah i love that stuff cheapest. i heard they nerfed something like covering your jeep in semtex and blowing it up and you can't c4 the objective... i really havnt played it much but i loved sniping and vehicles so much in bf2.

and i totally missed $2 jill and gogoth(something octupus guy) on psn mvc3 sale last week. doh, i can't/won't pay $10 for 2 characters. damn they should be in ultimate mvc3 anyway!
Cool, cool, I'll add you guys tomorrow and then we'll figure it out after the sale. We might have to find one more.

From what I've read, getting these trophies is significantly easier with a good team and a good strategy.

Is ME2: Arrival a price drop or a sale? Didn't find it on the sale page on PSN, had to go to the addon section. If it's just a price drop I'll wait and hope for a lower price.

Mass Effect 2 -‐ Arrival Dlc (Sale) (PS3) (now $4.99, original price $6.99)

I think its a sale, part of the EA sale week. If its a permanent price drop it will be listed as "price change" on the playstation blog like Shift 2 below.

Shift 2 Unleashed (Price Change) (PS3) (now $19.99, original price $29.99)

I'll be glad when the rest of the list comes out so I can properly plan the way I'm going to blow the last of the money in my PSN wallet.

If it's a permanent price drop, I'll make a note of that in the OP where it's listed. If there's nothing there, it's a sale.

A friend sent me a PS+ 1 month code, so I am enjoying the sales.

I picked up Crysis, Burnout Crash and NBA Jam.

yeah, if not tomorrow, i promise by tuesday ;)

still hoping for dungeon defenders/echochrome 2/slambolt scrappers/deadblock
also maybe wizardry? lol idk
thanx friskytanuki!

I was going to say "I hope not Echochrome 2, cuz it's Move exclusive", but I forgot that I got a Move today haha.

I think Sideway and Pixeljunk Sidescroller are for sure, probably Festival of Blood, and then I'd love to see Spelunky HD and Slambolt Scrappers.

And I know this is off-topic, but anyone recommend any good Move games? Mine came with Sports Champions, and I have Dead Space Extraction and No More Heroes.

House of the Dead overkill is a good Move game, and you could try some fps' like Mag or KZ3 but idk.

pixeljunk sidescroller and infamous festival of blood were only 10 right? and spelunky came out in 2011?

i skipped Hoard last year cuz i thought it would be a ps+ freebie, but not yet...

just noticed undersiege ( which is MOVE also) got a free update... i got that with discount... but havnt touched it yet...

RE5 Gold Edition is good with the move controller. I think Time Crisis Razing Storm may also be a decent move game, but I haven't played it yet. Festival of Blood has decent move controls if you haven't tried that yet, along with Infamous 2.

i always see time crisis razing storm cheap but out of stock, and i heard it wasnt too good.
yeah i played through re5 and heavy rain before Move, but they would both be good.
i heard better things bout re4 wii then re5 move, but idk. i think both are free updates? or just gold for re5?

Only the gold edition of RE5 supports move controls. I've played through both RE4 wii and RE5 gold edition, they both have really good controls for the wiimote and move.

My favorite Move games so far are Tumble on PSN and Child of Eden. I got Eden for $19 at Target before Christmas, so I'd be on the look out for another sale sometime soon.

Thanks for all the move suggestions guys.

I woke up this morning and hopped on the PS blog, hoping to see the 12 for 12 deals posted, but no luck. Hopefully they come through today, altho Sony America may be closed for the holiday.

;)

Anyways, for sure getting Rocketbirds.

MAYBE:
PixelJunk Sidescroller
Payday
Dungeon Defenders
Eufloria
Cubixx HD

Any impressions on Sidescroller, Eufloria, or Cubixx HD? I have the demo for Eufloria, its........interesting. Gonna check out the other 2 demos if they have them.
Sideway New York and Rochard are both very good games, I'd recommend them at the PS+ price, but probably not the regular sale price.
I'd definitely recommend Rochard at $7, Sideway not so much. It looks really cool, but luckily it's short because I had to force myself to even finish, the gameplay just isn't anything special. And OH GOD, THE MUSIC!!!!!!

I thought Sideway New York was pretty good.. I liked it enough to replay all of the levels for trophies and to improve my scores. The music is good, but the problem is there aren't many songs in the soundtrack, so the music quickly gets repetitive. I can understand if the music isn't your taste though.

The main problem I had with it is the framerate. If you have a decent PC that can run it, you might wanna go for the PC version instead. The framerate for the PSN version isn't bad or anything.. just that it could've been better.
Nice definitely picking up payday. Anyone know if the community is still active?
I'm sure it will be now. I know I'm getting it, as is a friend of mine, so at least if we meet up with you, we'll just need one more dude!

Might have to reconsider Sideway then, was going to buy it cause the trailer looks cool and its only $5. :whistle2:k

I already got Rochard on the MAC app store for $2.99 during Christmas Eve.

My main problem with the game was combat. It felt tacked on and not implemented well at all. I remember a ton of frustrating deaths and just pretty much skipping enemies rather than fighting them. I wish they would have gone the pure platformer route and taken out a lot of the combat.

I actually do like that type of music, but the repetitiveness made me hate all those songs by the time I was done with the game.

EDIT: Also, it's extremely lame that Cubixx HD and PJ Scroller don't have demos. I think Cubixx HD has a demo on the EU store, so maybe I'll make an account and go buy it there.

I can't remember if there's a demo for Sideway, but if there is you should try it first. Should give you an idea if you'll like it or not. I wasn't let down by the game, in fact I'm anticipating the sequel.

There's not a demo on PSN but I think there is one on Steam, so I'd recommend checking it out there.

some games have them when you click on the preview icon where it says add to cart, buy now, etc.

Hmm, I already have all of these (though, I have only played Rochard) except for Cubixx HD. Anyone think its worth $5?

Man, I guess Sony will never do a sale with the same pricing for non-Playstation Plus members like Microsoft does for Xbox Live around Christmas? The sad thing is the Playstation Plus sale prices were the normal sale prices before Playstation Plus existed.
Hmm, I already have all of these (though, I have only played Rochard) except for Cubixx HD. Anyone think its worth $5?
You own ALL of them? Wow!

Anyways, the Cubixx demo was a lot of fun. It's just Qix with a cube instead of a square, but it seems like it will get pretty hectic and challenging in the later levels. I'm getting it tomorrow for $5.
Man, I guess Sony will never do a sale with the same pricing for non-Playstation Plus members like Microsoft does for Xbox Live around Christmas? The sad thing is the Playstation Plus sale prices were the normal sale prices before Playstation Plus existed.
Well it depends on how you look at it. NBA Jam:OFE is was 33% off for everybody, not just PS Plus members, and Max and the Magic Marker was 50% off for everyone.

But yes, your 2nd sentence is correct. Instead of giving PS+ members extra discounts on sales, they just took 20% away on sales for non-PS+ers for their big sales. Kind of irritating.

If I was debating between the mortal kombat kollection or the street fighter 3, and could only get one, which one would you recommend

Dungeon Defenders, Rochard, or Sideway New York? I am probably only going to get 1. Which would you recommend? I am also thinking about Cubixx HD, but I know nothing about that game.
If I was debating between the mortal kombat kollection or the street fighter 3, and could only get one, which one would you recommend
MK had some issues the last time I played it so this depends on whether or not they patched it but I'd go with SF3.
MK had some issues the last time I played it so this depends on whether or not they patched it but I'd go with SF3.
I think it was patched recently (don't know if it was completely fixed, but I know it was patched), but yeah when the MK Kollection was released the online portion of it was broken.
Dungeon Defenders, Rochard, or Sideway New York? I am probably only going to get 1. Which would you recommend? I am also thinking about Cubixx HD, but I know nothing about that game.
Personally, I'd get Rochard out of those 3, but that's mostly because the Steam version of Dungeon Defenders has been $2-3 a couple times recently, the PSN price isn't all that great.. and I'm not much for tower defense games/hybrids. Can't really go wrong with Rochard. Sideway New York would be my second choice.

Screw the naysayer(s) who said PJ Shooter wouldn't be there!:cool:

I'm in for PJS, Rochard and maybe Rocketbirds. I'll think about Cubixx too.

I agree. I thought it was a pretty cool game and I replayed several levels to 100% the trophies. I kinda dug the music, but I certainly agree that it was repetitive. Just a handful of songs that replay a lot. But I would say it is DEFINITELY worth $5. There was a demo when it came out, not sure if it is still on the store though.
Man, I guess Sony will never do a sale with the same pricing for non-Playstation Plus members like Microsoft does for Xbox Live around Christmas? The sad thing is the Playstation Plus sale prices were the normal sale prices before Playstation Plus existed.
Yeah, I don't remember way back when it started, but from what I remember you're pretty right. I would be much more displeased with it had I not picked up a couple years of PS+ for $15 last year.

I'm a sucker for PixelJunk stuff and while I'm not as excited for Sidescroller as I was for Monsters/Shooters but I'll be picking it up at $4.99.

Very nice~

Ok so I got both Crysis games on ps3. Should I play 2 first then the first one? Only reason I ask is BC of the tech. Like I heard C1 plays a little better than C2 so I'd like to play it that way. If not I'll jump into C1 first. Sorry for the dumb q.

There is a demo on PSN unless they took it down, cause I have the demo.

I'm for sure in for:
Payday
Rocketbirds
Sideway

Likely in for:
Okabu
Rochard

Debating:
Mortal Kombat Kollection
Eufloria
BloodRayne

I would get Dungeon Defenders. I played the demo for Sideways: New York and didn't like it enough to buy it. I bought Rochard, but haven't tried it yet.

Thanks! I'll have to check it out the patch details and see if it's playable now.
I'm debating Payday and Bloodrayne. Any thoughts on Bloodrayne, I haven't played the other games in the series if that matters.
I tried the Bloodrayne demo. It didn't seem to require knowledge of previous games. You seriously might want to consider trying the demo. It is a pretty stylized game that appeals to some but is despised by others. I personally wasn't highly fond of it but it is half price and I have 35 bucks in my PSN wallet soooooooo....m'yah.

Trying to decide if I want to take the plunge on PayDay. I just freaking bought Left 4 Dead 2 for the PC. Do I shoot zombies...or cops? Hmmmmmmm. Decisions, decisions.

If you like Castlevania style games I would suggest BloodRayne for that price. I will be getting Rocketbirds, Eufloria, Cubix HD. Now I need to get a PSN card. Glad I'm not going to be spending much. Just sucks I had most of the titles that would interest me.
