turns out big sky infinity supports cloud save and double trophy poppin. So a quick 3 minutes and now I'm back ahead of StellarInertia on TT. Thanks big sky infinity!

A lot of imports available through Amazon sellers, and you can roll GS or Best Buy credit over to Amazon to pay for them ...
 
You can trash Nintendo all you guys want.. and the Wii especially.  But it sold more than the 360 (and the PS3)... and 100 million+ sold is nothing to sniff at.

That being said.. Jay needs to come back.  The conversations here haven't even remotely entertained lately.

I loved the PS3 Uncharted games. The Vita one was fun but something is just off. I enjoyed it and everything but some of the levels seems off.

Still worth a play and looks pretty good. Unit 13 is a lot of fun as well.

I hope that list is fake for a few reasons.

1. Microsoft isn't bringing much to the table, aside from Halo 5.
2. Nothing on Nintendo's list seems to be anything new. But they're not doing a conference, so they probably have 30 or so secret Pokemon announcements no one knows about.
3. Sony seems to fucking love releasing the same games over and over. I expect at some point, the entire PS2 library will be on PS3 and Vita, and the entire PS3 library will be on PS4. In the five years that takes, less than 10 new games will be released, and 9 of them will be ports of indie games already on PC.

Also, regarding the Nintendo discussion from earlier:
- I'd be happy with Nintendo going handheld only if they go back to one screen. Two screens sure was cool 8 years ago, but when more than half your games use the second screen for nothing more than a map/menu, it's time to move on.
- 3D is fucking stupid, especially on a handheld.
- Imagine being able to play a Mario/Zelda/SSB game that just focuses 100% on making the game awesome rather than 75% on "How much waggle can we put in this game?! Sure, we haven't done anything new in any of these games in well over 15 years, but watch what happens when you touch the game pad! He jumps! BUTTONS CANT fuckING DO THAT GUYS!!!"

Would love for this to be real. Moreso for MS' show sucking than for Sony's show. But that's also what makes me think it's fake. MS has nothing to show that we don't already know about? Plus no Halo 2 Anniversary which is virtually guaranteed to exist.

EDIT: 5 games, one DLC and a Kinect TV preview? That's it for 90 minutes? Yeah no way that's real. Or if it is it's leaving out a ton of stuff.

Lord. When did I say I opposed ports? I waited on both Hotline Miami and FEZ to come vita. I just ask they be done properly and released in a timely fashion. Otherwise remote play will do just fine for the so-called "console" experience.

Sony launch windows have always been kind of...sparse. Usually buoyed by third parties. Still, it's better than past PS launches. Second Son is solid, at least.

I purposefully skipped on the PS3 version because a PS4 version was to be released. My buddy and I will be getting it for sure.

 
So when The Last Guardian releases for PS4, and it's another pile of garbage from Team Ico, will we get the same excuse that people use for Ico? "Well, you know it was originally supposed to be a PS1 game, right!?"

Unless someone at E3 decided to print up an official list of all the top secret things being presented just so it could get leaked easy... including upcoming releases by a company that's not even presenting (Nintendo). Goofy list is goofy.

Someone had to do it since Jay's not here.  I just bought six pairs of shoes (and two for my kid) which is more than I've spent on shoes in the last six or eight years.  Should last me another 10-12 years.  Let's hope that my feet don't fall off or my tastes change drastically... or I decide to become a woman.  Will post a picture Jay style when I get them.

 
If you guys want to know what will be at E3, I'll tell you what will be at E3.

5 things you have already seen

3 things that are so vague that you don't even know it is

- only one will ever actually be released years later

2 things that leak early so no one is surprised when it gets announced for real

It happens every year, and every year people are still somehow surprised that they weren't surprised, and disappointed that their run away hype turned out to be nothing.

I mean I like E3, but I probably only still like it because I managed to reign my expectations in check a long time ago. I guess unrealistic amounts of hype can be fun for people too though.

You clearly stated "but the bigger takeaway is that it shouldn't have been put on vita in the first place (among other ports)" and my response was clearly directed at this. I didn't claim you "opposed ports". I responded to you stating this one shouldn't have been made.

So... let's try this again.

Why? There are plenty of reports of people really enjoying it. Why not put it on vita? I don't see the problem.

Most of these BL2 "reviews" are just bashing the game for changes that had to be made to accommodate the Vita's hardware or are claiming very exaggerated framerate issues compared to what the vast majority of user reports I've seen talk about.

People aren't interested in BL2 because they think it'll be a perfect reproduction of the console or PC version, they're interested because they've not played the game elsewhere or want to be able to play it on the go. The reviews I've seen have not been focused on those two points; instead they focus on comparing the Vita version to versions on completely different classes of hardware. Such a comparison is completely worthless in regards to what a reader would look for in a Vita BL2 review.

 
On the off chance that there is any truth to that list, there's two more games I won't have to worry about buying on PS3. Good news for me.
