Just finished Infamous 1. 6 years late, but I just got a PS3 last year so oh well. It was a really good game with a cool story and ending and now I'm excited for Infamous 2 as well as SS when I get a PS4. How do those two titles compare to the original?

I also have Festival of Blood. I suppose that comes between 1 and 2, since I read that 2 ends Cole's story pretty definitively.

Infamous was the first SP game I've played. I was always iffy about Sly but that they did those as well makes me a lot more interested.

Also...I'm hoping that they got rid of the Counter Surveillance missions after the first game. Those were the worst in the game by far. Not a single interesting thing about climbing all around a building looking for a blinking red light. Somebody in QA failed by letting those into the game.

Like someone stated earlier, FoB was a spinoff of sorts. It really happens in a sense, but I can't really say much about how it fits without a small [customspoiler='spoiler']In FoB, Zeke is basically telling the story to a chick in hopes of getting lucky. The story itself didn't happen, but him telling it could have to a point. It's not supposed to be taken seriously and after you play it through to the end you'll see what I mean. [/customspoiler] Definitely play it after the second.

I liked the second about as much as the first, although I hated how they messed with his image. I'm liking Second Son, but I'm halfway through it and I miss Cole. Delsim isn't really that bad, but it's just not the same. Also, Second Son is definitely the watered down version of Infamous that you're used to. It's incredibly and unnecessarily easy. While it got a little repetitive in the first two at times, there are hardly any side missions at all this time around so it definitely feels lacking in content so far. It plays really smooth though and the special moves are pretty to look at.

I barely made it through on normal so you have my respect, sir. I eagerly await the groans from people who attempt to 100% this. Hahaha.

The campaign wasn't that great, but I didn't find it difficult. The trophies that take the most effort are more in the MP, but even anyone can get that eventually if they're determined. I'm not touching that DLC pack though; community was already starting to fade when I finished the plat.

I actually just ran my PS3 audio into my PC input and then use it with my Logitech G930 wireless headset. No need for 2 headsets that way.

I am not hardcore but the original ps3 wireless are pretty damn awesome. You can get them for around 75 and they work with ps4 since the patch.

I've quite enjoyed the Pulse Elite since I got it in November. Only used on a PS3 and hardly at all with multiplayer chat, so take that how you will.

7.1 wireless, they sound great. If they don't work wirelessly on Xbox then the knock would be...I dont think the adapter supports 7.1 when plugged in directly. But, yeah, I love mine.

Jurassic Park was pretty painful to play though. Dinosaur nostalgia can only take you so far when the game stutters so much you don't even see fail state quicktime prompts appear on the screen. At least now I know why people complain about Telltale games on consoles.

Flying Hamster is a surprisingly difficult shmup. I don't really dig the aesthetic (I like shmups to look more like Sine Mora or Soldner-x, etc) but behind that cartoon crap it's dang hard.

Every trophy gives you another credit, so it gets easier fairly quickly. No way I'm doing the "beat hard mode with one credit" trophy though. I'm not really a shmup player, I only got it because of the silly cartoon aesthetic.

On topic of PSN sales: Is Sony just ignoring the fact that Blackgate still isn't showing up on sale? I took a trip over to the PS Blog and apparently the guys running that are just ignoring all the complaints about it and Injustice Vita not showing up on sale.

It's not really indicative of the way the other series run since it's by far the buggiest series they've ever put out. Nothing really comes close to the unplayable state it's in.

Very nice. Not sure how I feel about placing The Wire beneath anything, even if these aren't ranked. Disrespectful yo. I've tried a few times to get into Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Maybe up to the 6th or 7th episode. Has its moments. Funny in an outrageous, absurd sort of way...but something about it hasn't clicked for me. Since we're still on the subject, and we have some sports fans here, I want to recommend ESPN's 30 for 30.

The Gold Wireless. I'd recommend them a hundred times over. I usually hate wearing headsets, I've gone through the original Sony Wireless and a Razer Kraken Pro. Bought the Gold, never looked back. Comfortable for those long gaming sessions, sound is good (not an audiophile) and holds a good charge.

My problem with KZ isn't that is was hard, since I don't equate a game being hard if the AI is cheap. It was hard to endure how bad the storytelling was and that the gameplay, for all its graphical showcase, didn't feel fluid/smooth.

My golds can be on almost all day.  They're quite nice.  In the future, I'll likely go back to wired just because my sessions are either super short or super long.  I also don't need too much audio.. it's just fine for me and mumble works on it.  I don't turn them up full blast because they do tend to crack at those higher ranges.

Thanks for the compliment but it's not deserved. I only had to beat it on hard for the plat. They put in the elite difficulty with the DLC pack (which was primarily based around the MP), and by that time I had moved on. I had a lot of fun with the MP, but I passed on the DLC since I was starting to have a little trouble consistently finding good matches towards the end. It might see a little boost somewhere down the road, but I'm not interested in trying to figure out when that will be.

I hate to say it like this, but GG just needs make better decisions. I've got some very bittersweet feelings about them not working on the next KZ, but it's definitely for the best.

Just finished Brothers. Man, I knew how it ended, but not how it got there. Really interesting world, great storytelling (the foreign language approach was actually a great choice), and neat control approach (though uncomfortable). Good game to play if you want to knock something out of the backlog quickly and enjoyably.

After finishing it I checked the trophies list. Interesting that every trophy is for something additional you can do during a playthrough, and there's not a single one you get for just running through it.

Probably spent more time 'reading' than playing, but that's okay.

Rome is good, Deadwood is good throughout but I think it was at its best in the first season. The series also ends on a bit of a cliffhanger.

I've watched the occasional Workaholics episode here and there and I've never found it to be that funny. One of the 3 of the main cast also guest starred on an episode of Community and I found him to be insufferable.

I liked that game well enough to platinum it. It did drag on as you work toward each of the endings that who lives and dies in each variant doesn't have any impact anymore. Luckily you can fast forward through the story parts you have already seen.

The true ending is a little bizarre.

I've watched Mad Men through five seasons, and I can honestly say nothing happens. There's no real conflict or drama that ever makes you feel like the characters are in peril.

I didn't really pay too much attention to the game, I saw the Wild blow it in regulation by getting greedy and having too many men up front. What I like about hockey is that usually you don't have to blame the refs because they have so little control over the game, especially compared to NBA and NFL where a couple calls can change the entire landscape of the game.
