You can get by without a good running game, but having one is a big advantage to help get control of the clock and tire out the defense. But you see how valuable a RB is to win/losses

You'd presumably rest starters against teams like Jacksonville and they'd have a better chance to win in those instances.Yea is does. So if some team is fighting for their playoff lives, but their starting qb has played 16 games they are screwed? The NFL is getting out of hand
Having 2 bye weeks would solve the problem anyway...and honestly, I think that's the best solution. I get that the purpose of expanding the NFL schedule to 18 weeks is to make more money, and if teams had 2 bye weeks, they would just be playing the same number of games as they are now. But it would still allow the NFL to make more money because you'd have an extra week of TV coverage, an extra week of rivalry games, etc. They'd basically have to expand the roster if they did something like that. Probably to something like 65-72 players, which is insane. If they went with 18 games, they'd also have to adopt 2 bye weeks.
Neogaf has a pretty active NFL/NBA community. I post there just as much as i post here in cag.Anybody know of any in-game chats this season? Used to rotate among ESPN, SI, and Baltimore Sun CoverItLive chats, but all 3 are gone and their replacements suck horribly.
Also, James Ihedigbo has exceeded all my expectations.
Cincy D is really, really good. If their offense starts clicking (and they have the weapons), they could be real contenders. This Bengals/Patriots game has been awesome to watch. It was raining buckets too! The Cincy D just looked nasty today.
I was thinking the same thing. I'd always want the roof closed. Those sun beams canNOT be easy to deal with.
Yep I called the INT, and 2 others on my Facebook page also did, just shows how transparent Romo is. I will admit that was the best game I ever seen Romo play.I don't think i was the only one that didn't call that pick before the cowboys even had the ball.
I haven't watched the Texans much but..THIS. It wouldn't hurt to bench schaub. Time to see what the backup has.
yep. I remember his 1 win againt bengals and 1 playoff loss I forgot which team was it against might be ravens, and the game went down to a johnson jumpball that ended up being picked... So he really did better than expected on those games, I thought we gonna get blown out. Keenum can play too when he was in college.I haven't watched the Texans much but..
Hasn't Yates been decent every time he's had the chance?
call me crazy but I think Romo tripped on that throw and that is what caused the pick.As a Cowboys fan I am not upset about this loss at all. Our offense hung with one of the best (if not the best) offenses in the game today. Well played, Broncos.
and not only that, the defender knew there is not much of a risk if he gambles and goes for a pick since he knows there are 2 other guys around the receiver and 1st down is still far away. So he did dove for the ball, and it paid off. Murray was open too, idk why romo threw it on a triple covered guy. Clock management was also awful, though that is expected of garrett.call me crazy but I think Romo tripped on that throw and that is what caused the pick.
I was glad we got the win, our defense was mess today
