Im sorry but thats just pathatic. Its hard for me to seriously consider you a gamer whenever you say you wouldnt really even be one without Sony.
I've played a game for over 1300 days in a row. I play a game for 1-8 hours every single day.
First they arnt that great of a developer....
In your opinion. I happen to love (some of these games were brought stateside by other publishers, but they are SCEI or SCEE games) the Ratchet & Clank series, Jak series, Ape Escape series, Sly series, Twisted Metal series, Wipeout series, Hot Shots Golf series, Gran Turismo series, Loco Roco, ATV Offroad Fury series, God of War, ICO/SotC, Frequency/Amplitude, Tomba series, PaRappa The Rapper series, Wild Arms series, Arc The Lad series (except End of Darkness), Legaia series, Colony Wars series, Jet Moto series, War of the Monsters, Downhill Domination, Jumping Flash series, Alundra, Sky Gunner, GhostHunter, Primal, Killzone, Syphon Filter (except for the 3rd and Omega Strain), Kinetica, Dark Cloud series, Bombastic/Devil Dice, Hot Shots Golf series, Crash during the PS1 era, Spyro during the PS1 era, etc. And what really helps me get into these games is PSU continues sending me demos of many of their games. I'll admit there are some I didn't like, but I ended up liking many of them, causing me to buy the game (or greatly consider it) when I had no interest to begin with (like God of War, Primal, and others). What I like about SCE the most is that they develop variety (a very big one) with quality games in most every genre, instead of just a few. I know many who feels Sony makes the best games too (the same argument could be said about Nintendo and MS games).
but second even if they were as good as say Nintendo it would be sad because there are still 100s of other great companies out there making awsome games.
I personally feel Nintendo's first party games are greatly overrated (especially Zelda, Mario ever since SNES to an extent, Pokemon, Animal Crossing, etc.). I've bought and rented many of them, and I didn't find many of them all that great. There were some I liked, but just no where near as many as Sony. The reason I liked Gamecube and GBA were because of 3rd party games, not Nintendo's games. Although I definitely plan to get a Wii, I'm just not as excited about it due to just not being much of a Nintendo fan (I even like MS Games Studios games better even).
I think it is hard to count Ridge Racer as a exclusive Racer when the 360 version has graphics that have more detail.
Sony probably figured it was exclusive because it ended with a 7, not a 6. But the PS3 version has more features, like more car customization (like with engines and stuff). The very first game I'd buy with my PS3 would be RR7.
