That's a decent CAW of Hall for the PS2 version of SvR07 from caws.ws

I wonder, though, and this may be a silly/basic question to some, if the formulas for CAW in PS2 are identical to those for 360? If I folow the instructions for that Hall (made on PS2) on 360, will the results be identical?

Not only are they completely crazy but look at the almost $10k they want for a Cactus Canyon and the almost $7.5k they want on a Medival... Only one photo of the pin sitting outside of their garage, no closeups of condition or even of the thing plugged in so you can see if the display lights up well.

Someone made a full color print out with phone number tabs (tear away), offering a PS3 (60GB) with a controller and a copy of Genji for $1,000.

We found one pasted on our front door in the morning and tore it off. Later on, another copy of the same one appeared.

I've seen several ads in the classified section of our newspaper of people still trying to get $1000 or even $1500 for a PS3. I stopped by the post office to drop a few things in the slot today and I even saw a PS3 flyer tacked to the bulletin board there. It said it was dated 12/20/06 and the person was selling a PS3 60GB for $800 OBO.

I also drove by Target this morning and saw a sign in the grass along the main roadway from someone selling a Tickle Me Elmo TMX for $75...

Same thing around my town too. Lots of signs/flyers advertising Wii's downtown.

Just curious, is the kind of advertising as I mentioned in my OP illegal? I was going to call the number while at work and ask the seller politely, to stop posting his "$1000 PS3 deal" on our property. My manager talked me out of it, but in the end said it was ok if I prank called him a little bit :)

I can understand people posting things like this on bulletin boards at post offices (as you mentioned) and colleges, but can someone get in trouble for posting it on say the front door of a corporate store such as TRU, Target, Best Buy and so on?

Please CAGer's practice safe PS3 purchasing when out shopping after Christmas. You don't want to end up with some sort of STD from your "pre-owned, sexually violated, and returned" PS3 system from the B&M stores. :lol:

After all, the "wall of shame" can include horribly performing auctions where the sellers lost money even if they don't embarass themselves with their own pictures! The "Scalping Thread" was for CAG's selling their PS3's (which I think, or hope, anyway, has come to an end) - so it would have been just as off-topic there.

Personally I come here more for seeing how much these jackasses are loosing on their PS3s then to see the pics which half the time are just rich kids.

As a FYI, this thread was originally called "Pictures of Actual People selling their ps3 on ebay". I can always edit the title and put this again as it was when I originally created this thread.

I dont mind if you put info concerning people getting screwed on ebay, but I hate it when I see people just talking about this and we go off topic and the original purpose of the thread is lost.

I think this thread can live for a little while longer. The people still trying to make crazy money on a PS3 after Christmas are much more pathetic and laugh worthy than any of the earlier sellers.
