Ikaruga getting through Greenlight before Alltynex or Diadra Empty would be sad beyond belief.

Ikaruga is overrated as hell because almost everyone who praises it hasn't played anything better in the genre. Chaining is an awful mechanic and always will be.

I'd give both nuts to see Castle Shikigami trilogy and Crimson Clover make Steam.

Just purchased another handful of games on Steam. Hopefully I will actually complete building my gaming PC one of these days and actually get to play all of these games I have been buying, lol. 

 
There should be a way to set Steam into sort of a no-download mode so you could stay logged in but not have it unexpectedly start downloading an update and interfering with your bandwidth. Unless there is such a mode that I'm unaware of?

 
Now that I believe MX vs ATV won't be (soon) removed, I need to ask if it's a fun game or not. Sadly asheskitty isn't around lately... She is our racing expert

Under settings>Downloads you can limit the amount of bandwidth allocated to Steam. Just set it at something ridiculously low like 16KB/s and I can't imagine you will see any difference should it start downloading something unexpected.

As far as I know, the best option is to go into your settings, then Downloads, then limit the bandwidth Steam can use there. Gives you some pretty small options so that should limit the impact.

The problem with putting Squirrel Girl in a fighting game is that she's canonically able to whoop just about anyone's ass with relative ease. Any way they implement her wouldn't be right, unless she's a midboss like Tatsunoko vs. Capcom featured.

But yeah, I'd also love to see her as a playable character. =D

They already announced the release date for it was Nov 19th, but it's only for PS4 and Xbone. The gameplay trailer they released was very short, and didn't look very good, which this close to release doesn't bode well for the game.

As someone who's been playing Anna lately (wouldn't advise it) and is also a chicken, I can tell you that it is NOT creepy. Maybe a little unsettling at times, but there is no danger whatsoever that I've seen, and some of the obvious budget cuts make parts that are intended to be scary unintentionally hilarious. So far it's pretty bad though, so you aren't missing much if you skip it.

Oh man, I disagree! Started Anna EE a few days ago and have really enjoyed it. I went in cold and knew nothing about it except that it was supposed to be kind of creepy. The process of discovery has been pretty enjoyable and the creep out stuff has been sufficiently goosebumpy. One part in particular ranks up with one of the best spooked out gaming moments ever for me. Hate you're not enjoying it Mrninjasquirrel!

Whether Live will be good or not, i'm glad to see 2K get some competition, even if it is from the Evil Ampire.

Of course, I have no expectations to see a PC version of Live ever.

Actually have been hearing some good things being said about NBA 2K14 on the modding forums, but I still have too much residual rage left over from '13 to warrant a purchase of this year's version.

When I heard that there was going to be a big announcement, I was thinking they'd take Maxwell from the recent Scribblenauts and put him in the game, kinda looking hyper realistic like the pic here of SMB

He'd be as buff as Bane and could use a variety of the powers of the other heroes, like Shang Tsung in MK9. A man can have odd dreams. Here's hoping it'll be cheap enough to not get console banned for the huge Xbox Fiasco. I don't want more of that (also probably why it's not coming out to XBone, they lost lots in sales from that whole problem)

i only played it for an hour today but it was definitely worth $4. actually some guy in the cag trading thread has it for like 2.70 get it from him u can't go wrong at that price

is fallout 2 or UC worth my time? which one is better. i like how 2 seems to have brighter graphics, but is UC better?

edit: i meant flatout obviously :p

Fallout 2 is considered to be one of the best RPGs of all time. So it's probably worth your time, granted that you like isometric, turn-based games.

 
I played MX vs ATV for 14 hours.. It's definitely a fun game, especially in multiplayer, but the singleplayer got repetitive faster than most racers I've played. Probably won't go back to the singleplayer.

Tried the 25% voucher at GMG, but that didn't work. I know I just posted a couple hours ago how I wasn't going to buy 2K14, but had that coupon been accepted, I probably would have done it. My stupid mind has been trained over the last two decades to have an intense desire to be playing video game basketball around this time of year.
