Free Stuff - Needs Updating

There are quite a few free and free2play games and mods on steam. You can find a full list here. Note that free games are not permanently attached to your Steam account like actual purchases would be. You'll need to manually download a game again from the website if you uninstall it.

Mehhhhhh...burgers, corn dogs, now ribs? How am I supposed to maintain being a lazy piece of crap who doesn't want to cook stuff while people are making me hungry?
Internet food ordering for delivery. If they could only make it so you wouldn't actually have to get out of the chair to go to the door, the concept would be perfect.

They need to invent an interconnected series of tubes like they have at bank drivethroughs that you can shoot money through when you call in your order and they shoot you back your meal. I would never leave my bed outside of walking my dog and going to work.

Don't worry - there might be pizza and steak discussions coming up, too... ;)

Here's a steam key for Vessel: A2F0N-CJ9MW-5ZTEV

And here are two links for keys I got for the Golden Jubilee Bundle of crap games nobody wants: http://www.indieroyale.com/bundle/key/U52368D33CF281

http://www.indieroyale.com/bundle/key/452368C9D12539

I was about to post these in the Steam trading forum for the 80 millionth day in a row when I realized that whatever I eventually may have gotten in return wasn't worth the time I was spending posting in there. Hopefully a non lurker gets one of these, but I doubt that anybody who actually posts here wants either Vessel or the bundle and doesn't have it by now.

Not sure if it's been mentioned already or if it's really a surprise, but apparently the PS4 controller will have some out-of-the-box PC compatibility.
As someone who loves the DS3 (360 D-Pad was forged in the pits of hell for the sole purpose of being terrible), I'm very happy to hear I will no longer be forced to jump through MotionJoy/xInput hoops to be able to use it. Very exciting...

Not that I'm interested or that it's even that great of a price, but GameStop has 50% off Deadpool (Steam) - $19.99.
...this not so much. I'm a fan of the genre so I may pick it up sometime if it ever goes on sale for $5 or so (that'll be the day Activision, that'll be the day), but as someone with no particular affinity for the character $20 is way out of my impulse (haha) buy range for what is by most accounts a bad to decent game.

It doesn't have to be "Tony magic" at 75% off.

Though, I do prefer "Tony magic". :D

I'm not super-interested in Deadpool game, though.

I could wait for a BIGGER than 75% off discount...or just not buy it all.
Same here. I'm interested in playing it, but not if the price of admission exceeds $10. Hopefully he can work some magic come the holidays.

Greenman says I'm one of a select few to receive a special XCOM Enemy Within DLC coupon, 25% off on top of the 10%. Did everyone get this? I probably won't use it.

Interesting, do you mind quoting the email and header (taking out any personal info of course). I would hop on this if i got it.

What do you mean? I'll give the code away via PM if there's someone who is actually going to use it.

EDIT: Taken

Sweet @ Team Ninja looking to get a NG game on the PC.

I hope we get the older hardcore Ninja Gaiden series (that were on the consoles) on the PC and Steam, as well.
I would buy a NG1+2 pack in a heartbeat...with the usual caveats (75% off, $10 or less, free with Gaben bucks, etc. etc.)

I got one too. Maybe it's for people who previously purchased EU through them? At any rate, much as I want this I'll wait a couple months. I'd be surprised if it didn't go at least 50% off in the winter sale.

There was talk, a couple weeks ago I think, about a new bundle that had been discovered via Steam database updates. Everyone in the thread was super excited and considered it a must buy. Anyone remember that? Was it released?

Do you mean the Focus Home Humble Bundle? If so, no, that's still up in the air.

Ha! They've raised the base price on Ace Of Spades. It used to be $9.99. That's why the historical low is $2.49.

That'll surely get people to buy the game.
It looks like they've included the DLC and renamed the product slightly. Still not interested.

How often do region unlocked games on Steam get locked later on as the release date approaches? I almost got screwed by preordering a Brazilian key recently, but a Steam gift is different than a key. Just trying to make a choice on how/where to buy Assassin's Creed 4.

JakeNome recently talked about this, I would go look for the post in his trade thread (on mobile so I can't do it myself).

The other Midweek deal has finally appeared, it's Assassin's Creed 3 at 60% off ($11.99.) Certainly better than that ridiculous Ace of Spades "deal".

If you have the game already as a gift or on your account, it's extremely rare to see any changes to it. It would just screw up people that buy it after the change date (But at that point very few people are trading it anyway). Happens all the time. Games will be region free until the last 30 days or so and change. If you're interested in a game, best to get it off the market early. The only time I can recall the games changing for everyone was Borderlands 2 and that was quickly reversed after the bad press for the action.

JAKENOME shameless post deals:

$9 Assassin's Creed 3 Standard (multiple copies left)

$7.5 Assassin's Creed 3 Season Pass (multiple copies left)

$18 Assassin's Creed 3 Deluxe (multiple copies left)

$4 Ace of Spades Battle Builder (multiple copies left)

$9 Ace of Spades Battle Builder 4-pack (multiple copies left)

$5.5 Omerta City of Gangsters (multiple copies left)

$9 Omerta City of Gangsters 2-pack (multiple copies left)

  • I figured I'd post this here since I saw people grumbling about Omerta not hitting their pricepoint
  • This stupid Ace of Spades game doesnt even show what new additions have been made to the game to warrant a name change/rerelease.
  • If anyone wants to get in on AssCreed3, I suggest geting Standard Edition+Season Pass. You don't need to pay extra for the Deluxe edition just for a soundtrack.

Yeah, that happened with my Borderlands 2 season pass. I got it from Russian region I believe, but it was region free. Later on it switched to RU+CIS version but I guess they removed the region lock on it cause it's always worked. It's labeled RU+CIS in my account history.

I think the reason for the outrage and reversal with Borderlands 2 was they had some confusion involving issuing Russian keys to all different regions.
