Hard reset, reset and reconfigured the TV settings. Reset the cable box just to be sure. Played with my TV settings even though I know it's the Xbox pass through.
Nothing is working.
Followed and ready to watch. Played a little of Warframe a month or so ago and suprisingly really enjoyed it. Just re-downloaded it after getting a new exteral HD for my one.I'm Twitch streaming Warframe for Xbox One tonight at 8pm Central/6pm Pacific. Join the stream and play along with us in-game for a chance to win Warframe prizes ranging in value from $10-40!

Coolness! Did you make it? I didn't see you there, but it's hard to keep up while you're actually streaming.Followed and ready to watch. Played a little of Warframe a month or so ago and suprisingly really enjoyed it. Just re-downloaded it after getting a new exteral HD for my one.
Yup, was watching for about an hour. Took awhile to get things going but after getting everyone together and you worked out the audio issues I enjoyed it a lot. Stopped playing this because Destiny so I plan on starting it back up today or tomorrow.Coolness! Did you make it? I didn't see you there, but it's hard to keep up while you're actually streaming.
I think we may get lucky if they simply have the xbox one for $350 with no bundle... however if they raise it and every option is $400, i think it would be a bigger mistake then the always online debacle.Would be pretty dumb to go and raise the price back up. Killing those bundles would be fine
Really they should release a different bundle @ 350 - include Halo MCC or Forza 2
Just finished a 2 hour session of halo 5. So much fun.So anyone else not able to get into Halo 5 matches?
Ugh. I don't know why I keep getting an error with Halo servers message.Just finished a 2 hour session of halo 5. So much fun.
I saw a few people say that a hard reset fixed their matchmaking issues.Ugh. I don't know why I keep getting an error with Halo servers message.
I don't understand why everyone says they will NOT raise the prices back up... they did this for the 360 and after the holiday season they raised the price back upMaybe they are just saying the promotion is ending to push people on the fence over thinking it will go up in January, then come January 3rd they will just raise the price on the bundles. However, I have been saying that they raised the price back in April after discounts of over $100 so they very well could go back to the $400 price point.
Too bad Aaron Greenberg isn't one of the people who left, him and Yusuf Mendhi can both go pound sand.
All subjective.why buy a system that dont have lots of games yet give it like two years before buying one cause first off it will be alot cheaper and there will be more games if you wait
Go get your Xbox ones now... looks like they are raising the prices back up?

Could just be bundles but still...

Might be part of the reason the creator and designer of the xbox one and xbox live left? speculation but very interesting.
if they want to dominate the north america market. they should probably make $350 a permanent price.A bundle similar to PS4's Pick 4 can work.
Don't think it can continue to beat out Sony in sales at that price, but better than a standalone bundle.
it will also force sony's hand, if they make $349.99 the permanent price for xbox one. sony cannot afford to drop it now. maybe in 2016, or 2017. that is why from bf up till now, sony is only willing to pack games into their bundle for the $399.99. instead of going to head to head with ms, with a $50 price drop.People are surprised because there's simply no way they'll compete with the PS4 at $400. Consumers have made it clear they aren't willing to pay that price for it and given the massive momentum they've gained in the last two months raising the price again is just plain stupid.
It's just super annoying to see them do something like this because last year they competed horribly until the end of the year when they dropped the price and now it looks like they want a repeat of that same scenario. Realistically I'd permanently drop it to $350 and then next holiday season lower it to $300 as a sale.
Sony said they made the PS4 with price scaling in mind so they could stay competitive and they even said they were prepared to launch as low as $350 if Microsoft had launched at a lower price. If Microsoft were to keep the price at $350 and continue to gain momentum there is no doubt that a price drop would happen on the PS4 around May/June. But as it stands Sony has no incentive to drop the price as the system is selling so it would just be throwing money away.it will also force sony's hand, if they make $349.99 the permanent price for xbox one. sony cannot afford to drop it now. maybe in 2016, or 2017. that is why from bf up till now, sony is only willing to pack games into their bundle for the $399.99. instead of going to head to head with ms, with a $50 price drop.
They might as well see what happens with sales by raising the price back up. It's not like they can't lower it again in the future. Keeping it permanently at $350 just gives them less options.it will most likely go back up.
The bigger question is how much of a loss-leader, if any, has the $50 difference + games been for them? I could see them dropping the games and leaving the price at $349, which seems like the middle ground move. They might as well see what happens with sales by raising the price back up. Another way to look at it is that now that more people have an Xbone, it'll have a domino effect in creating more friends and family members to adopt one. However, I do agree that the system won't catch up with the PS4's popularity. The Kinect and the original used games policy really screwed them and have proven to be mistakes. Long term, their best shot will be to lower the price by $50 to keep up with the competition.
but to your average consumer, it just looks like ms is just increasing the price. when they had it for months at $349.99. it will turn even more people to ps4They might as well see what happens with sales by raising the price back up. mostly likely from software sales/ xbox live subscriptionsThe bigger question is how much of a loss-leader, if any, has the $50 difference + games been for them? I could see them dropping the games and leaving the price at $349, which seems like the middle ground move.
Is there enough profit still in the system to keep it at $50 off and not make it a drain on profits?
Why? What average consumer is going to think that? Most people are used to seeing bundles and sales on consumer electronics during the holiday shopping season. That is all they will think it was. Just like the big push a few months back where almost every store was offering a $50 gift card with the console.but to your average consumer, it just looks like ms is just increasing the price. when they had it for months at $349.99. it will turn even more people to ps4
But most people will say well it was $349.99 at one point, guess I will wait until then... whereas if they are in the market for a PS4, they feel comfortable that for now there is no price change in the future as it has stayed steady at $399Why? Maybe. Or maybe they will think, "Well, there won't be a sale like that until next Christmas and all my friends have one so I may as well get it now." I'm not saying that it would be a bad idea to keep the price lower (not knowing what their profit margin is of course), I'm just saying that I think we are giving too much credit to consumers on keeping up with industry pricing strategy. Plenty of people see what the price is when they are browsing through the aisles and for them it is just a sale like any other item has.But most people will say well it was $349.99 at one point, guess I will wait until then... whereas if they are in the market for a PS4, they feel comfortable that for now there is no price change in the future as it has stayed steady at $399
Thats not going to happen, they've got a lot of the mindshare back after dominating the holidays. Then I guess they want to go back to losing every month
They only did well because of a price drop. They have nothing coming out over the next few months so its foolish to raise the price back up. Ps4 still sold extremelyThats not going to happen, they've got a lot of the mindshare back after dominating the holidays.
Your definition of dominating and my definition must vary.... unless you're using MS logic and useless stats like "they dominated sales in stores beginning with T on days that start with F"Thats not going to happen, they've got a lot of the mindshare back after dominating the holidays.
Like I said, the mindshare is back and theres a lot of positive buzz around. Im not saying they are going to win every month but I can see them winning a few. And its not like the PS4 is going to be cheaper or anything, I know that they have a couple of good exclusives coming out but I dont think they'll help move a ton of consoles. What exactly makes you think they will keep outselling at the same price when they couldn't before?
They outsold the ps4 by 400k and Im expecting a sizable gap when December numbers are revealed, I know they had a lot of great deals to help but still to me thats domination.Your definition of dominating and my definition must vary.... unless you're using MS logic and useless stats like "they dominated sales in stores beginning with T on days that start with F"
A base console with no freebies will have a tough time selling at $399 when everyone and their mother (in regards to retailers) was selling bundles at $329.99 - $350 with free extra games, gift cards and/or XBL subscriptions.
Those that were on the fence at launch but very much wanted one most likely have one by now. They're going to have a hard time gaining additional momentum moving forward sans some type of hard marketing or aggressive sales tactics
Actually, last I read that gap wasnt as big as thatLike I said, the mindshare is back and theres a lot of positive buzz around.
