You can't spell Ottawa without OTT!
Nah, it's because anyone I know who's actually played the games for any amount of time usually refers to it as Gears. Hell, even Chika knows that. ;)
I probably knew that too...I just forgot. :D

Morning, OTT.

Another hidden benefit of being a Premier Silver member and pre-ordering at Best Buy? Free release day delivery!

Gears is out for delivery already.
Hey everyone, Japan, anime, and the PS3 are awesome. Also, I hate dudebros.

(trying to be less boring)
Whoa, take it easy. It's a little early to cause such excitement! And I wish my neighbor's truck would die. I don't understand why they must rev the engine for 10 minutes every time they start it up.

I hope the Mortal Kombat KE on Amazon tonight will be under $40. I think I may pull the trigger and get it if it is sub $40. Maybe.

Very proud of my friend Bill. He is my ice hockey referee trainer/evaluator and got called up to the majors. He made his NHL pre-season debut this weekend with a NYRangers game. That's like a one in a million to be good enough of a skater, good enough of a referee and to have the drive to take all of the exams and training courses then the patients to be on the waiting list until you actually get the call.

I knew about free shipping but I had no idea about release day delivery.

I wish I did, I would have pre-ordered my 5 for 100.00 games online instead of in-store.

It was a pleasant surprise to check my email this morning, click on tracking and see 'Out for Delivery'
I gotta pick up my gears around lunch. I better get a Gears code before then or there will be magazines a glitter flying all over best Buy.
Another good thing about buying online was that I got my code emailed to me. I don't know why, but in store it's like the sales people have no idea about thier own promo's. The last time was Dragon Age 2, and I actually had to get my BBY code from Bioware.

I worked with a guy who did referee work for the NFL. He'd get a call midweek to know where he will be flying to on Friday night. He would have a meeting on Saturday, and sit in on of the ref booths during the game. I think he was a replay specialist or something as he had a bad leg and did not ref on the field.
I was actually kidding. I'd rather slit my wrist with a dull butter knife than read the shit hole GGT.
You know you like keeping tabs on rero and his crew. Zoo and Mr. Walrus are tight for life.

I just went in there and looked at it. First time, in a while and I see nothing has changed.

Socially inept, closet homosexuals who still live with their parents and jerk off to anime.

I'll take boring any day of the week.

Although, I hate to sound like I mean that about all of them. There are a few in there who aren't all that bad.

P.S.

ReRo practices pleasing men on huge stogies.

Slow, boring OTT.

I really enjoyed Resident Evil 4 on the Wii. (About the only thing I enjoyed on the Wii)
Somewhat tempted to pay $10 and go through it again in HD but not much. The motion controls actually added so much to the experience and I'd be missing them.

Linkin is a doofus, but one good thing he did was lock all of those gaming threads other than the GGT. I enjoyed that.

Wait, Chacrana isn't banned?

You got my hopes up. Just went to xbox.com and saw it was $20. Not that I didn't know that before hand, but grabbing it for $10 would have been nice.

Wait...RE4 is now on XBOX? I both classic REs didn't come out for another month.

EDIT: Looks like just RE4...I'll have to pick that up soon.

Veronica is next week iirc. Picked up a points card last night. Most likely will pick both up soon since GoD almost never go on sale. Never played either one before.

Touchpads for all!

When you get them make sure to look up homebrew apps and how to improve performance. It's super easy to fiddle with this thing.

I finally got internet in my apartment here in Raleigh!

One of the other refs I work with does the score board for the New York Rangers. It's a swank job that pays well and a lot of fun. I'm not friends with him, we just work together.

This guy on the other hand, is a friend. I'm really happy for him. He's really young, only a 21 year old junior in college, so he'll likely make it to be a full-fledged NHL ref.
Is that your friend?
On MySpace, he's *everyone's* friend. No, really, everyone. As in, he is "Tom" as in THE MySpace Tom.

Not a fan of the wednesday morning shifts. Always come right after a closing shift so never get a full night's sleep. Hell, get 6 hours if I'm lucky half the time.

The first episode of this season of Sunny in Philadelphia was fantastic.
