Heard from somebody who was at Best Buy when it opened on Sunday (but not there for a Wii) that the cut off between people who got a Wii and those who didn't was about 8AM. (They opened at 10AM.) That's not all that bad really. If I had really really wanted one I'd have probably gotten my ass over there around 5-6AM.

She had no idea about the whole Wii thing and was surprised to see a bunch of people lined up with tickets in their hand. Apparently they let all of the non-Wii customers inside first before dealing with the Wii tickets. She ended up hopping in, grabbing what she wanted, and checking out before the mass of Wii purchasers hit the checkout line.

I think I might just pick up a Wii to sell it to someone else in line who didn't get it for a premium... I know those mexican niggas'll go crazy for it.

It was fun, but I think I only got like 60%. :[

I'm going to stay for awhile longer and try and finish my essay. I'm on the 4th page, last page are references.

I almost got a Wii yesterday, they had about 7 at Walmart and 15 mins later they were all gone.

I was tempted by Paper Mario TTYD yesterday when Inu posted about it, but I haven't touched my consoles for months so I passed. I still have a few decent games on the pile (Oddworld: Stranger's and Eternal Darkness to name two) but I might be done with consoles until I pick up a 360.

I wouldnt really recommend it. Especially after playing games like HL2 and Bioshock.
 
I was thinking the other day that it might be fun to see how many games you can play on the 360 without getting a single Achievement. So I guess you'd basically just load them up so it registers as played on your gamertag but not do anything.

Fun, right?
