Where is the weekly ad?
They ended the weekly ad for more rotation of deals. Please check the homepage and deal link for the current deals.

I can't find a trade in value for an item?
It might not be tradable or calling a store to find the value may be the only option.

How many copies of a game can I trade in?
You are allowed to trade in 4 copies of the same game (same system) within a rolling 30 day period.

Are there trade limits?
Yes, $500 cash minus some electronic trade ins and or $2000 trade credit in a rolling 30 day period.

Can I use the $5 monthly coupon on gift cards?

Yes you can in store but not online please note not all gift cards will apply to this rule.

I have a $XX.xx pre-owned reward certificate, and I want to use it on a B2G1 transaction. Should I?
It depends. If the three games are equal value, do not use your certificate. The value of the certificate would be applied to the free game, which would not benefit you. If one game is more expensive, you can use the certificate to make it the same value as the other two games ($5 reward certificate applied to transaction with two $10 games and one $15 game would make all three games $10).


TERMINOLOGY AND LINGO:
ASL/SL: Assistant Store Leader, Store Leader; manager positions at GS.
B2G1: Buy two, get one free.
GS: GameStop
JD: Junior detective, an employee who is out to get someone
LP: Loss Prevention; this is the department that actually bans accounts after being flagged.
TC/TiC: Trade credit.
TIV/TV: Trade in value, or what a game currently trades for. When posting a TV for a game, always use the base value.

Can the argument also apply to The Amazing Spider-Man 2 when we have Spider-Man 1, 2, and Miles Morales or Pokemon Black2/White2 when we have SwSh/ScVi? Honestly trying to understand the socioeconomics in high value items and flipping.

Though those port things didn't put a dent in platinum.

Why do you have so many returns to do? Employees are penalized for returns, so if you're returning a lot, they're going to nail your ass since that's something they can get written up for. They can obviously see your purchase and return history, and will flag your account for loss prevention to ban your account. Hopefully you have a good reason and you're not just buying multiple copies of a game until you get a complete one.

Unsure what you mean by that final bit. My reason...is trying to take advantage of the B2G1F deal, but it's difficult as it is trying to find three worthwhile/interesting games at relatively the same price point especially from just one store. I will do a repurchase for one set, for sure.
 
I do believe 14 will retain a decent value given its the last on 360/PS3 but nothing like it was for years on end since fans get to rejoice with 25. I don't think it will flop as they went into better detail with that over Madden 25

Wait... what? Was this always true or is this a newer thing? Seems like if anything, you'd want to track the bad actors here and punish them, not the employee.

With that said, I regularly buy 2-3 copies of new (to avoid guts) and used games (for a CIB copy) but I rarely return them unless they're in really bad shape. Usually just trade or sell the extras.

pretty sure it is always been that way. basically it affects their $ amount of sales, returns go against total sales. so if you sold $300 worth of games and then took a return of a ps5 it would show a-$200 in sales for that day or time period.

I seriously doubt it will bomb hard given the fact they admitted to putting best efforts into it. Also a full fledged Collectors Edition with both the game and (I believe) Madden 25.

I unexpectedly got an email saying my package was delivered (early)... but my excitement was short lived as there was nothing in the mailbox. It's not the first time but the other times were during peak COVID when everything was wonky.

I was upset that package was gonna arrive after I left my parents and instead... I get nothing (barring there being some honest neighbor).🫠

EDIT* Well shit, post office found it in the wrong box and delivered it to us. Yay!

At the same time tho, this is modern EA we're talking about. They're gonna wanna monetize the hell out of any game they publish (let's not forget Star Wars Battlefront), and certainly colleges and college football players want the share of the profit pie too right?

While I get that,it's been quite sometime so hopefully it won't be too overwhelming to say least
 
I just got back from trading in my Series X for cash same as credit. At first their POS didn't show the promotion and the cashier had to call their boss. The boss told them to reset the computer and everything worked after that. I got $357.50 for the Series X and $33 for Lunar Shift controller. The cashier said they don't do Venmo so I ended up with a Pre-payed Mastercard instead.

FYI fist of the North Star fitness boxing is $10 new on switch, trades in for $15.40 cash. Also walking Dead destiny's and trolls remix for series X are both $10 new, and $11 cash trade. Double dipping my coupon, I just turned $20 trade credit into $37 cash. I'm not sure how long the values will hold but I can confirm it working as of right now.
 
My Pro expires in September, if I buy the cheaper renewal this week, do I lose two months of membership? It says my new renewal would be July 2025.

do you know if that offer pops up every time you go to check out or is it just a one time thing? it popped up last time for me but my sub is good til November and the guy just dismissed it.
 
Cleaning out my closet and found my old storage of gamestop b2g1free orders from 2018. Ofc they screw me with a fake copy of dbz smh, but still wished i went more ham back then. The good ol days lol. Anybody remember elite pro? Apparently it was 20% off used.

Nice so there’s this 19.94 deal they have for GameStop pro membership then there’s a “honeycoupon” coupon which takes 5.35 off which brings it down to 14.84 for me. Can u use your points towards it online tho?

Nvm even if it does, I forgot I redeemed my points for instore only rewards looool

Bought 12 PS2 and GameCube games during the buy 2 get 1 free.

- 5 came in generic cases
- 7 came in cases with covers, but only 2 came with manuals
- 2 discs don't work... Looking at them, it looks like they were resurfaced but poorly done. You can see the swirls on them

As long as I can get replacement discs, I will be happy with the price. Definitely cheaper than eBay. I print my own covers anyway. Although I would never trust GameStop with cartridge games because I know they take in a lot of replicas

problem is now finding New copies of Fist of the North Star Fitness Boxing at your local stores; very very hard to find. i hope this cash boost lasts for the WHOLE week with no value changes

Astral chain had a reprint so it coming with the case isn't too far from the realm of possibility iirc. It actually kinda makes sense despite Disney being newer of the 2 since kids are more likely to toss the cases than a jrpg adult player.
 
So my membership ends next week and I didn't get any renewal offers and probably will be letting it go like a lot of you. Only have about 8k in points (they expire 45 days after end of membership, right?). Also down to about 16 in tic left.

Can the points still be used at register in $1 increments? I know tic can be used in store on digital currency cards (eshop, etc)..but can points also?
